ISIS Militants Execute 600 Yazidis Northern Iraq - Updated!

BBC is now reporting the incident although they are using the number 300, not 600. In any case it's genocide and more worth of the 7th century than the 21st. 2 May, 2015, 21:36P

A word of caution: this story is all over the internet, however, it has not been picked up by any major news service that I am aware of. Consequently, I have some doubts about its credibility. It's possible that it was fabricated to try and get the world's attention back on the desperate plight of the Yazidi people.

Yesterday's post on my other blog may also be in that vein, although some of the facts I have read before.

ARA News

Erbil, Kurdistan Region – On Friday the so-called Sharia Court of the Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) reportedly executed 600 hostages from the Yezidi community of Shingal (Sinjar) in the Talafar district in northern Iraq.

The group piled the bodies into the well of Alo Antar on al-Ayyadiya highway, local sources reported.

Shahin Shingali, a fighter in the ranks of the Peshmerga forces, stated to ARA News that since Friday the IS radicals transferred nearly 700 Yezidi hostages to Talafar.

“Without a direct intervention by the international community, Iraq will be witnessing more genocides against innocent people at the hands of the IS terrorists,” Shingali said.

Aseel al-Nujaifi, governor of Nineveh province in Iraq, confirmed on Friday that the IS terrorists executed hundreds of Yezidi captives.

“A new crime was committed by Daesh (Islamic State) against our Yezidi people on Friday,” al-Nujaifi said in a statement.

“IS gangs executed hundreds of innocent Yezidi prisoners.”

“These terrorists are degrading Islamic religion. (Is that even possible?) Muslim clerics should bear their responsibility to show the public the reality of this terrorist group, demonstrating how it is diametrically opposed to the correct, tolerant teachings of the Islamic religion,” al-Nujaifi added.

Actually, it is exactly what the Quran teaches!

Commenting on the incident, the Yezidi writer and researcher Salem Rashidani told ARA News: “We have received reports saying that IS militants executed the Yezidi men in the district of Talafar in Nineveh province, after isolating them from their families, throwing their corpses in the valley near the city.

ISIS Burns Kurdish Muslims Alive, Beheads Egyptian Christians in Libya

While popularity polls and positive sound bytes are ever so important to Western politicians, the steadily strengthening ISIS terrorist army gives the very real impression they could give a Tinker's Damn less what the Western press, politicians or self-appointed hash tag diplomats think of them.

Case in point would be the reports coming out of the Middle East and North Africa that the Islamic Jihadists have not only have charged forward in their seemingly non-stop butchery of innocents, they also have stepped up their death by fire executions of anyone with the backbone to fight back.

ISIS reportedly slaughters Kurdish Muslims, Egyptian Christians
As reported by the International Business Times (India edition) on Feb. 14, 2015, the terrorists paraded 17 caged Kurdish Peshmerga freedom fighters through the occupied Iraqi city of Kirkuk, reportedly on their way to be burned alive in the same fashion as they recently executed Royal Jordanian Air Force Lt. Mu'ath al-Kasasba. While ISIS claims to adhere to the Sunni branch of Islam as do many of the Kurds of northern Iraq, the jihadists seem not to have much of a problem slaughtering the Kurds wholesale.

In a video released by the terrorists on social media, Britain's The Independent notes on Feb. 14, 2015 that crowds lines the streets of Kirkuk to voice their opinion of the impending death sentence on the 17 Kurds. As reporter Lizzie Dearden penned, "People lining the streets could be heard jeering and shouting 'Allahu Akbar' (God is great) as they passed one by one on the back of flat bed vans."

Long known for being fiercely independent, the Kurds by-and-large reject the ISIS goal of a world-wide hard-core Islamist caliphate, instead opting for a Kurdish homeland encompassing a region covering northern Iraq, northwest Iran, and southeastern Turkey. Rejecting Islamic Jihad, the Kurds openly fight side-by-side with the area's many Christian and Yazidi minorities who've seen their communities victims of especially viscous ISIS attacks, to include crucifixions, beheadings and many boys and girls being sold into sexual slavery.

Flexing its muscle, ISIS has expanded its terror network to Libya, where the Christian-centered Assyrian International News Agency reported on Feb. 12, 2015, that 21 Coptic Christians from Egypt who were kidnapped last Christmastide have just been beheaded by the Libyan branch of ISIS, which goes by the tag of Ansar al-Sharia. This group has long been known to have ties to the al-Qaeda terrorist group that is most famous for the 9/11 attack on the United States, and the 7/7 attack on Great Britain.

The Egyptian Copts were originally from many of the impoverished Christian villages of the Upper Egypt region of the nation. Attempting to eek out enough money to keep their families fed, clothed, and housed, the men traveled to Libya to seek employment even in the most menial construction jobs. ISIS released a statement claiming the kidnapping of the workers "commemorates" the October 2010 bombing of a Chaldean-rite Catholic Church in Baghdad which killed 58 worshippers.

Obama Omits Jews from Ethnic Groups Threatened by ISIS - Amazing!

By Jessica Chasmar - The Washington Times - Thursday, February 12, 2015

New York Rep. Lee Zeldin is outraged that President Obama’s proposed authorization of force against the Islamic State group lists several ethnic groups as being threatened by militants without any mention of Jews.

Mr. Zeldin, the only Republican Jewish member of Congress, says he noticed immediately that the resolution specifically singles out Iraqi Christians, Yazidis and Turkmens as potential targets by Sunni militants, but omits Jews, CNN reported.

“I see an understanding, a recognition in the resolution with regards to ISIS attacks on Muslims, on Christians and others, and I didn’t see a reference to Jews,” the freshman lawmaker told CNN on Thursday. “And one of the efforts I’ve been involved in is trying to raise awareness for the rising tide of anti-Semitism.”

“I think that when the White House is drafting a resolution for the authorization of force, that every single word, every phrase in there is done deliberately — it has to be,” Mr. Zeldin continued. “Jews should have been included by the White House.”

The Republican said last month’s terror attack on a Paris Kosher deli that left four Jews dead is evidence the Islamic State is committed to deadly acts of violence against Jewish people.

But then President Obama wasn't in Paris after the attacks there, so maybe he just didn't know that the Kosher deli was targeted? eh?

“I strongly believe we were reminded in Paris that these radical Islamic extremists, they want to wipe Israel off the map,” he told CNN. “They target not only Jews but our freedom our exceptionalism as Americans — the whole western world.”

'Exceptionalism'? Obviously they haven't hurt anyone's ego yet.
