Sweden's Cultural Suicide > Gangland-style shooting kills 3 in Upsalla hair salon; The worst mass shooting in Swedish history

Sleepeasy Sweden had a very peaceful society until recently. Their acceptance of an extraordinary number of Muslim migrants has dramatically changed one of the safest countries in the world into one of the most dangerous in Europe. Rape statistics have gone through the roof, bombings are a daily occurrence, and criminal gangs are murdering people at will.

No links have been made to Islam for the following two stories as yet, but it would be very rare if Muslims were not involved. The police and media, as always, are extremely reluctant to tell the truth when Muslims are involved. They work hard to protect the image of Muslims while leaving innocent Swedes in the dark about the violence and dangers of the Islamic invaders.

April 30 (UPI) -- A masked gunman opened fire at a hair salon in a Swedish university town killing three young people in an apparent gangland hit.

The Swedish Prosecution Authority said in a news release Wednesday that a 16-year-old boy had been arrested with probable cause on suspicion of murder in connection with the shooting in Uppsala, 40 miles northwest of the capital, Stockholm.

The suspect, who is a minor under Swedish law, was arrested at his home at midnight, said chief prosecutor Andreas Nyberg, who is heading up the investigation.

"An intensive investigation is underway. We are currently gathering information, and police are conducting door-to-door inquiries and witness interviews," he said.

Nyberg said mobile phones and other evidence seized were also being analyzed.

Authorities have until noon Saturday, when they must either remand the suspect in custody or release him.

The Swedish broadcaster SVT reported that the incident late Tuesday afternoon at the Shalom barber shop in Vaksala Square downtown might have been gang-related, as one of the victims was under investigation for planning an attack on a family member of a gang-leader.

Police locked down the city overnight, including halting all outbound trains, after the shooting and made their arrest early Wednesday. Police told a news conference the suspect was one of several people being questioned as part of the investigation and that while there were currently no other suspects, that could change.

"We are conducting a high-intensity operation," said Uppsala District Police Chief Erik Akerlund

He said police had yet to positively identify the three deceased people but confirmed they were aged between 15 and 20 and that officers were in contact with relatives who fear that they are their family members.

"We see no clear connection between the incident and the hair salon itself. But we have an idea of who the victims are, and we are working based on that regarding possible retaliation," Akerlund said.

The incident came on the eve of the Walpurgis Night festival, known as the "last of April," in the city which is expected to bring 100,000 revelers onto the streets later on Wednesday.

Police said the event would go ahead as planned, albeit with heightened security.

"We are focusing heavily on measures to create security," said Asa Larsson, local police chief for Uppsala/Knivsta. "We understand that this is experienced with great concern. It is a terrible event that has happened in Uppsala."

In February, at least 10 people were killed in a mass shooting at an adult education facility in Orebro, 125 miles west of Stockholm. The shooter died at the scene, likely from a self-inflicted gunshot, after exchanging fire with police. It was the worst mass shooting in the country's history.

Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Police in Sweden said Wednesday that they believe a gunman who opened fire, killing 10 people on a school campus in the city of Orebro, acted alone before dying from a gunshot wound and that they were still searching for answers as to why he carried out the attack.

It remained unclear if the gunshot that killed the as-yet unidentified gunman, who also fired at police, was self-inflicted but police said at a news conference that there was "a lot to suggest that" was the case.

Six other people, five with gunshot wounds, were being treated in the hospital. Two remained in a grave condition in intensive care. None of the victims were children.

Sweden was in mourning on Wednesday with flags flying at half-mast as King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited a memorial nearby that has sprung up in the 24 hours since Tuesday's shooting, along with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

The king told journalists that he and Queen Silvia were "extremely upset" by the tragedy.

Police did not confirm whether the gunman had a gun license but said he was not known to them prior to the shooting targeting an adult education facility on the Risbergska school campus, where children's schools are also sited.

Authorities have mounted a major investigation involving more than 100 specialists from local, regional and national agencies into the shooting in Orebro, 125 miles west of the capital Stockholm.

No motive has been established for why the gunman singled out the adult learning center but police stressed they didn't think it had an "ideological" basis and warned people not to speculate or spread disinformation online.

One school student told the BBC that many of the students at the adult education school were immigrants who were taking Swedish language classes.

Local police said Tuesday that all of the deceased and injured were found inside the adults' school.

"This is an awful, exceptional incident -- a nightmare," said Orebro Police Chief Roberto Eid Forest. "We do not think there is any terror motive behind this, but it is too early in the investigation to say."

And yet, you said it!

Kristersson called it the "worst mass shooting in Swedish history."

"It is difficult to take in the magnitude of what has happened," he said.
