During Easter week, Fulani jihadis went on a killing spree in seven Christian communities in Bokkos County, murdering dozens.
Blacks killing blacks gets ignored, as does the jihadist genocide raging on in Nigeria. Only when it’s politically feasible to play identity politics do most Western politicians and their media pay attention to black lives. Also, if it were Christians killing Muslims, the world would be in uproar.

MAIDUGURI, April 28 (Reuters) – Suspected Islamist miltants killed at least 22 people and wounded several others in two separate attacks over the weekend in northeastern Nigeria, residents and police said, the latest incidents in a region plagued by armed violence.
Nigeria has been grappling with a long-running insurgency in its northeast region, primarily driven by the Islamist armed group Boko Haram and its offshoot, Islamic State West Africa Province.
In Borno state, suspected militants ambushed and killed 10 civilians and two security officials in an attack on Saturday, said Mohammed Shehu Timta, emir of Borno’s Gwoza area. Two others sustained injuries in the attack.
In neighbouring Adamawa state, suspected Boko Haram militants had killed 10 people and wounded several others in an attack against Kopre village, also on Saturday, residents said.
The attack targeted hunters and civilian joint task force (CJTF) members and Adamawa police have deployed additional officers to Kopre, which is in Hong district, police spokesperson Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said on Monday.

At least 12 killed in militant attack on Druze suburb of Damascus

At least 12 people have been killed in a militant attack on a Druze suburb of Damascus, in Syria’s latest outbreak of sectarian violence.
Fifteen others were injured in the attack on Tuesday, residents and members of the Druze religious minority said. It was the latest in a string of attacks on minority groups in Syria since former president Bashar Al Assad was ousted in December last year.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack on the Jaramana suburb, but it originated from surrounding districts controlled by pro-government militant brigades. The brigades are allied with Hayat Tahrir Al Sham, the rebel group once affiliated with Al Qaeda that led the overthrow of Mr Al Assad.
It came after a deepfake video was circulated on social media over the past two days that showed a Syrian Druze Sheikh, Marwan Kiwan, appearing to denounce the Prophet Mohammed.
Druze spiritual leaders and Muslims across the country warned that the video was an attempt to ignite sectarian strife. The Syrian Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that the voice in the video was not Sheikh Kiwan’s and that it was working to determine who altered the video and would mete out “strict punishment”.
Ahmad Al Zuaiter, a prominent resident of Jaramana, said militants from nearby areas of Ghouta fired mortar rounds into the district overnight and tried to enter through a checkpoint known as Al Nassem that is manned by Druze members of the newly established police.
The dead included six Druze, mostly members of the police force, while the rest were attackers, Mr Al Zuaiter said….

Roadside bomb blast kills 26 in Nigeria’s restive northeast

At least 26 people have been killed as a truck hit an improvised explosive device in Nigeria’s restive northeast.
The blast on Monday killed men, women and children in Borno State, near the border with Cameroon, according to the military and residents.
The region has been plagued for decades by armed groups including the ISIL affiliate in West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram, with violence flaring up in recent days.
“Twenty-six people died in the blast, comprising of 16 men, four women and six children,” a military officer speaking on condition of anonymity told the AFP news agency, adding that three further passengers were severely injured….

Tashbih usually refers to the practice of repeating the names of Allah as prayer. It is not forbidden. This man was likely executed for tashbih in the sense of likening Allah to created things, a practice akin to idolatry.

Latakia province: A man accused of “practicing Tashbih” was shot dead by members of the General Security forces after they had stormed Al-Safarqeyah area near Al-Qardahah in Latakia countryside, using several vehicles and firing directly at the man’s house.
The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 539 people, including 14 women and seven children, in murder crimes and eliminations that come under retaliatory actions in different Syrian provinces since early 2025. Here is a regional distribution of fatalities:
Damascus: 12 fatalities.
Rif Dimashq: 53 fatalities, including one woman, among them were six persons whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.
Homs: 194 fatalities, including ten women and three children, among them were 76 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.
Hama: 106 fatalities, including one woman and one child, among them were 41 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.
Latakia: 41 fatalities, including a woman and two children, among them were 23 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.
Aleppo: 32 fatalities.
Tartus: 58 fatalities, including a woman and a child, among them were 37 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.
Idlib: 14 fatalities.
Al-Suwaidaa: Two fatalities, among them was a person whose death was based on sectarian affiliation….
For whatever reason this list doesn't include the more than 1000 Alawites and Christians murdered recently in coastal Syria.
