Nigeria: Muslims murder 15 Christians in jihad raid
on village, including a 1-y/o baby and a 13-y/o child
If the jihadis get their way, ultimately, there will be no more Christians to kill, or the remaining Nigerian Christians will submit to the hegemony of Sharia. That is how the “Islamic world” was created, and how it is still being created.
Baby, 13-Year-Old Child among 15 Slain in Central Nigeria
Morning Star News, December 30, 2024:
ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Fulani herdsmen on the night of Dec. 22 killed 15 Christians in a village in Plateau state, Nigeria, including a 1-year-old baby and a 13-year-old child, sources said.
Clement Chup, president of the Aten Development Association (ADA), condemned the “gruesome killing of innocent, law abiding Nigerians of Aten land,” in the predominantly Christian community of Dowchai, also known as Gidan Ado, in Danwal village of the Ganawuri Chiefdom of Riyom County.
“We are saddened by this callous and avoidable murder of 15 persons in a settlement just a stone throw from a military check-point along the Vom-Ganawuri highway,” Chup said in a press statement. “This no doubt calls to question the commitment of the security agencies in their mandate of securing lives and property of Nigerians.”
No, of Christian Nigerians!
The assault, in which dozens of houses were set ablaze, took place during a government curfew of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., he noted.
“We are therefore baffled as to how the criminals found their way to perpetuate their evil plans without the security personnel dictating (detecting?) them,” Chup said. “This is most disturbing, as these attacks and killings have been reoccurring within the community.”…
Uganda: Muslim family converts to Christianity, relatives murder the father, threaten to kill rest of the family
The rest of the family is in serious danger. The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)
A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.
This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
Muslim Extremists Kill Christian Who Received Death Threats
Morning Star News, December 26, 2024:
NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Islamic extremists on Dec. 16 killed a Christian father of three children who had fled his home in eastern Uganda due to death threats from Muslim relatives, sources said.
James Mukenye Habiibu, who along with his wife converted to Christianity in January 2022, was found in a pool of blood the morning of Dec. 17 in Kagumu Sub-County, Kibuku District, Uganda. He was 29.
Soon after they put their faith in Christ, Habiibu’s family received death threats from relatives, said his wife, whose name is withheld for security reasons.
“The whole family threatened to kill us if we continued with the Christian faith,” she said, adding that they fled to another district that night, where they began worshipping at a local church.
They returned to their home district with their children in October, renting a house in Bulangira town. Relatives and other Muslims discovered their return in one month, and they began to receive threatening messages from Habiibu’s relatives, she said.
“We know where you are, and soon we are coming there and you will not escape the wrath of Allah,” read a text message from a Muslim extremist identified only as Swaibu in Kagumu Sub-County, Kibuku District, she said. “You left here and disappeared from us for three years thinking that Allah was in a sleep. Has Allah not brought back you for back justice? Soon we are going to behead you and get a big reward from Allah, and this time you’re not going to escape from us.”
On Dec. 16 at about 6 p.m., Habiibu left his house on a motorcycle for a gospel outreach with another evangelist from a Presbyterian church in Buseta.
“At about 7:30 p.m. I received a call from my husband telling me of people who have been following/tracking him for about half an hour and requesting prayers,” she said. “Since then, there was no communication from him.”
At 8 a.m. the next morning, she received a phone call from someone using her husband’s phone stating that the owner of the phone had been killed, and that the body was lying in the swamp at Kakutu, she said.
“A neighbor escorted me, and when we arrived at the scene of the incident, I found my husband lying in a pool of blood,” she said. “We also found several people at the scene.”…
The wife and kids are still under threat. Please pray for their safety.
Pakistan: Muslims shoot three Christians in a Christmas Day jihad attack at the home of a pastor
“Make ready for them all that you can of force and of warhorses, so that by them you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy…” (Qur’an 8:60)
Christians Shot in Christmas Attack on Pastor’s Home in Pakistan
Morning Star News, December 27, 2024:
LAHORE, Pakistan (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Three Christians were shot and wounded in a Christmas Day gun attack on the home of a pastor and televangelist in Lahore, Pakistan, sources said.
Following a Christmas Eve confrontation in which Pastor Shahzad Siddique tried to stop Muslims from harassing guests, more than a dozen gunmen the next day opened fire on Christians at a gathering outside his home in Lahore’s Maryam Colony, said Siddique, a Pentecostal preacher on satellite television channel Praise TV.
“I had just returned home from my church and was resting when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire outside my house,” Sidique told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News.
He called a police helpline, and an assistant sub-inspector and another officer arrived within 25 minutes; at the same time, some church members arrived for the planned Christmas festivities, he said.
“I was briefing the policemen about the firing incident when, all of a sudden, youths riding motorcycles came there and opened indiscriminate fire on us,” Siddique said. “Unfortunately, three people – my uncle, driver and a church member – received bullet injuries on the arm, stomach, and leg. We were able to catch one attacker while the others fled on foot, leaving behind five motorcycles.”
Two of the three injured male church members, Pastor Siddique’s uncle Arif Masih and driver Adnan Pervaiz, were out of danger, but the third Christian, Akash Patras, remained in serious condition with a wounded abdomen, the pastor said. Police have arrested five suspects and were raiding sites to apprehend other assailants, he said.
“I believed that this country was safe for us, but now I’m forced to admit that it isn’t safe to be a Christian in Pakistan,” Pastor Siddique told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “I’ve always preached peace and tolerance, but this unprovoked attack has shown that extremist elements do not want a peaceful society.”
Nasir Jameel, a neighbor of Pastor Siddique and member of his church, said the attack resulted from a minor altercation on Christmas Eve.
“Pastor Siddique was leading a rally comprising church members including young girls and women on Dec. 24 when a group of local Muslims riding a car started misbehaving with the participants,” Jameel told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “Pastor Siddique and other elders confronted the Muslims and told them not to tease the congregants. This must have stoked anger in the Muslims and led them to plan the attack.”…
It doesn't take much to drive Muslims to hysteria.
