Former UK PM: UK and Europe need to
abandon ‘failed leftist-globalist agendas,’
and adopt Trump’s economic policies
Britain is in chaos, as is every Western country that globalists govern. Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss didn’t mention one of the most important topics in her pro-Trump speech: immigration, which Trump is taking seriously. Not only are open-door immigration policies utterly reckless, but unvetted mass migration is contributing to major economic decline, not to mention posing a threat to national security. It also adds enormous costs to fighting crime.
Trump’s Make America Great Again plan is a commonsense one. Americans woke up to recognize the lies they were being incessantly told by their leftist governments and activist media. Let’s hope the UK and EU do the same.
Truss’ endorsement is welcome addition to the movement that is sweeping across the West to rescue it from the globalist deep state, which Truss has blamed for sabotaging her brief tenure as prime minister.
Liz Truss is sound in her analysis. She became the shortest-serving prime minister in British history, with only 45 days at the helm. According to the mainstream media, her aggressive economic plan threatened to crash the markets. She thus ended up with members of her own party turning against her, amid accusations of going back on “what she promised to do,” although her time in office was short to justify such an accusation.
UK and Europe Need to Adopt Trump’s Policies, Says Former British PM
by Kurt Zindulka, Breitbart, November 20, 2024:
The UK and the European Union need to abandon their failed leftist-globalist agendas and adopt the economic policies of Donald Trump, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss said.
Economic “doom” is on the horizon if governments across the Atlantic continue on the path of high taxes, high regulations, the green net zero agenda, and weakness to Communist China, Truss warned in an interview with Fox Business.
“We’ve got the highest energy prices in the developed world, the highest taxes for 70 years, and what is happening is taxes keep going up but the revenue is not coming in and the economies are stagnating and ultimately I think there will be a financial crisis unless Europe does things differently,” she warned.
“President Trump is showing the way, he showed the way with deregulation, with fracking that brought down energy costs, but also in taking a strong stand against China… If Europe doesn’t change, if the UK doesn’t change we are facing decline.”
Truss said that she believes the second term of President Donald Trump will “turbo charge” the American economy, which will in turn force leaders in Europe to recognise the folly of their ways and adopt more sensible economic policies put forward by figures like Trump.
We already have an example of how sensible governments can turn economies around quickly. Javier Milei has turned Argentina's economy around in less than a year and economists now expect it to have one of the highest GDPs in the world next year. Trump's DOGE crew are watching Milei closely, Britain would be wise to do the same.
Canada would also be wise to do the same, but there is no hope of wisdom with the current government.
The former British PM argued that the people of Europe and the UK are ready for the change, citing the 2016 Brexit referendum, but that the will of the people has been thwarted “a very powerful political elite and bureaucratic class.”
Truss has claimed that her short-lived premiership came to a premature end as a result of the British deep state…
