Alleged Islamic State (ISIS) operatives have been arrested after Spanish and Moroccan security services dismantled one of the group’s cells in a joint operation.
Nine alleged ISIS members were detained in the Moroccan towns of Tetouan and Castillejos while others were arrested in Madrid, Ibiza, and Ceuta in Spain. Three are now detained in Morocco while six are in Spain.
Arrests were made after the two countries’ security services raided homes and found bladed weapons and computer equipment.
Investigators said that the alleged ISIS operatives had held meetings in Ceuta and Tetouan in order to plan terror attacks on behalf of the group.….

This is reminiscent of Yasmin Seweid, who made international headlines by complaining of “Islamophobic” harassment at the hands of two Trump supporters. What really happened was that she had missed curfew and was afraid she would get in trouble with her father.

The Muslim schoolgirl who accused her teacher of Islamophobia and began rumours that led to a jihadist decapitating him in the street in France has admitted lying and apologised to the victim’s family in a remarkable court hearing today.
History and geography teacher Samuel Paty was murdered on October 16, 2020 by Abdoullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Islamist radical of Chechen origin.
Anzorov tracked down 47-year-old Paty and brutally hacked his head off after seeing pictures and videos of him circulated on social media as part of a ruthless campaign of harassment.
It began after the schoolgirl in question claimed that Paty had ordered Muslim students to leave his classroom while he showed the rest of the class caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad by satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
But she revealed today that she had not even been present in the class and invented the lie, fearing repercussions from her parents after she was suspended two days for bad behaviour.
The student, who was 13 at the time of the murder and whose identity remains protected due to her age, cried as she addressed Paty’s family.
‘I know it’s hard to hear, but I wanted to apologise… I wanted to apologise sincerely. I’m sorry for destroying your life,’ she reportedly said through tears.
‘I apologise for my lie that brought us all back here,’ she added, admitting to those in attendance, including the accused: ‘Without me, no one would be here.’
The schoolgirl’s father, Brahim Chnina, is accused of launching the online harassment campaign against Paty, while other teen students were tried last year after they identified him for the attacker in exchange for a few hundred euros….
The schoolgirl had accompanied her father to file a complaint at the time. ‘I wanted to tell my parents that it was false, I knew that my father was not going to do anything to me , but I was afraid to say it,’ she said in court today.
After Paty’s murder, she was taken into police custody, during which time she continued to lie. ‘My teacher had been decapitated, my father was in police custody, I couldn’t say it was false,’ she said….

Algerian arrested for attempted mass murder after burning down German asylum center, injuring 16

An Algerian migrant has been arrested in Germany, accused of burning down his asylum accommodation center and injuring 16 people.
The fire erupted on Saturday evening in the loft space of the building in Schleiden-Vogelsang, North Rhine-Westphalia, resulting in flames several meters high.
According to WDR, around 110 firefighters from Schleiden, Kall, and Hellenthal battled adverse weather conditions to contain the blaze, and a rescue helicopter was dispatched to the scene but was ultimately not used.
The building was completely destroyed and two adjacent houses were also rendered uninhabitable due to the damage and smoke contamination.
A total of 57 residents were evacuated and relocated to nearby shelters, but 16 people sustained injuries, including burns and smoke inhalation, and required hospital treatment.
The suspect, a 35-year-old Algerian national who was also a resident of the facility, is facing charges including seven counts of attempted murder, serious arson, and grievous bodily harm.
Local police confirmed the arrest of the man but did not provide any further details regarding a motive….
This incident marks the second suspected arson attack at the facility in less than a year. A similar fire occurred in January 2024, which was also attributed to arson.
Notably, asylum seekers have burned down their own asylum accommodations countless times across Europe. Sometimes the motive has been anger over their living situation, disputes with other residents, and in many cases, these arson attacks have been the result of efforts to be relocated to other EU nations, particularly for migrants in asylum camps in Greece and Italy.

UK: Leaflets left in London Jewish neighborhood say
‘every Zionist needs to leave Britain or be slaughtered’
Sadiq Khan has condemned this, but nevertheless, this is the London that he and his allies have made.

Leaflets with the writing “every Zionist needs to leave Britain or be slaughtered” were found spread around the streets of Hendon, a predominantly Jewish neighbourhood in north London.
The threatening message was written in Hebrew, and the leaflet also stated in English “Zionist Free Zone.” It also read “Ha, made you pick up litter you zianazi freak.”…
A Jewish resident of North London who wished to stay anonymous told GB News these flyers were provocative and incited hate towards the Jewish community.
They added: “Whoever made these should feel the full force of the law for the safety of our Jewish communities.”
This incident comes after the neighbourhood was also targeted in October, when antisemitic messages were left at Hendon Golf Club.
Swastikas and messages reading “f*** the Jews” and “Heil Hitler” were raked into bunkers on the golf course right before the start of the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur….
