Islam, in and from Africa > Moroccan charged in Canada and Belgium; "This is our city, and we will cleanse it of people like you"; 100 - 200 Christians slaughtered in Nigeria's Plateau

Moroccan man now facing charges in Canada

after bomb threats in Ontario: OPP

The Ontario Provincial Police provided a brief update Wednesday on their investigation into a series of bomb threats that occurred in Ontario on Nov. 1.

Multiple schools and other public facilities received messages indicating that bombs had been placed at their locations, police said.

The messages also included a demand for money in order to get information on the explosives, police said.

No explosives were ever found.

Late last month, the OPP said an individual believed to be responsible for the threats had been arrested in Morocco, though it was unclear at the time if he’d be charged in Canada.

The suspect is also believed to have been responsible for threats in Belgium that resulted in at least 27 schools in Brussels and a neighbouring region shut down.

“The investigation in this province, by the Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Branch, has given investigators strong reason to believe the individual from Morocco was also responsible for the threats and major disruption here in Ontario,” provincial police said in a statement at the time.

According to media in Belgium, the threats included a demand of 10 million euros to reveal the location of five bombs. Officials there say the suspect “admitted the deeds to the Moroccan authorities” and that so far there is no evidence suggesting any “terrorist motives.”

Frightening people, including children, is a motive straight out of the Quran. Apparently, the OPP are not aware of this.

The OPP worked with Belgian police in the investigation and obtained an arrest warrant.

An OPP spokesperson told Global News on Wednesday that the accused remains in the custody of Belgian police.

El Hachm El Moussi, 45, from Casablanca, Morocco, is now charged in Canada with two counts each of uttering threats, mischief, and extortion, OPP said.

“The accused has not come to Canada to face the charges,” the OPP spokesperson said.

“The OPP is consulting with the Federal Department of Justice to determine how the accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice.”

Harassment and Persecution Faced by

Egyptian Christians

International Christian Concern, December 18, 2023:

12/18/2023 Egypt (International Christian Concern) In a harrowing tale of religious persecution, Amina* endured harassment and threats in Beni Suef Governorate last year after moving there to begin her newly married life. However, her happiness was short-lived as she encountered hostility from locals. Disturbing incidents of verbal abuse, including obscene language and threats, became a routine for Amina, solely because of her Christian faith.

The situation took a violent turn when her husband returned home from work one day to find three men waiting for him. They subjected him to a brutal assault, leaving him unconscious before hastily fleeing the scene. Upon regaining consciousness, Amina’s husband was informed about the severity of the threats and attempts to kidnap his wife, coupled with demands for her conversion to Islam.

She shared, “They were harassing me, threatening me, and trying to kidnap me, and that they wanted me to convert to Islam and wear the hijab. When I screamed and threatened to go to the police, they said: ‘You Christians, you worshipers of the cross, will not be able to do anything. This is our city, and we will cleanse it of people like you. Either you are with us, or you are against us, and whoever resists us will not live.’”…

Scores killed in attacks by suspected herders

in Nigeria

A series of attacks on villages in central Nigeria over the last few days have killed nearly 200 people, local authorities said on Wednesday, in the latest case this year of such mass killings blamed on the farmer-herder crisis in the West African nation.

Monday Kassah, president of the local government in Bokkos, Plateau State, said that 148 Bokkos villagers had been killed, while Dickson Chollom, an elected official from the neighbouring local assembly in Barkin Ladi, said "at least 50 people" were killed in the district.

The assailants targeted 17 communities in "senseless and unprovoked" attacks on Saturday and Sunday, burning down most houses in the area, Plateau Gov. Caleb Mutfwang said in a broadcast on the local Channels Television.

"As I am talking to you, in Mangu local governorate alone, we buried 15 people. As of this morning, in Bokkos, we are counting not less than 100 corpses. I am yet to take stock of (the deaths in) Barkin Ladi," Mutfwan said. "It has been a very terrifying Christmas for us here in Plateau."

Amnesty International's Nigeria office told The Associated Press that it has so far confirmed 140 deaths in the Christian-dominated Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi areas of Plateau, based on data compiled by its workers on the ground and from local officials. There were fears of a higher death toll as some people remained unaccounted for.

Some of the locals said that it took more than 12 hours before security agencies responded to their call for help, a claim the AP couldn't independently verify, but which echoes past concerns about slow interventions in Nigeria‘s deadly security crisis, which has killed hundreds this year, including in Plateau.

This is not because of complete incompetence by the military, but is more than likely a directive to respond slowly as most of Nigeria's governments are complicit in the genocide of Christians.

"I called security but they never came. The ambush started 6 in the evening but security reached our place by 7 in the morning," said Sunday Dawum, a youth leader in Bokkos. At least 27 people were killed in his village, Mbom Mbaru, including his brother, he said.

No group took responsibility for the attacks though blame fell on herders from the Fulani tribe, who have been accused of carrying out such mass killings across the northwest and central regions where the decades-long conflict over access to land and water has further worsened the sectarian division between Christians and Muslims in Africa’s most populous nation.

The Nigerian army said it has begun "clearance operations" in search of suspects, with the help of other security agencies, although arrests are rare in such attacks.

Abdullsalam Abubakar, who commands the army’s special intervention operation in Plateau and neighbouring states, said his forces "will not rest" until they find those responsible.

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, who was elected this year after promising to tackle security challenges his predecessor had failed to address, instructed security agencies to "scour every stretch of the zone and apprehend the culprits", according to a statement from his office.

He also ordered the "immediate mobilisation of relief resources" for the survivors and prompt medical treatment for the wounded, it added.

Amnesty's Nigeria director Isa Sanusi said Tinubu’s government and others have failed to take "tangible action" to protect lives and ensure justice for victims in the conflict-hit northern region.

"Sometimes they claim to make arrests but there is no proof they have done so," he said. "The brazen failure of the authorities to protect the people of Nigeria is gradually becoming the norm."

And the 'norm' is called genocide!

NATO Sanctions against Russia coming back to haunt Europe

Euro hits 20-year low against dollar as Russia cuts off gas to Germany

The euro sunk below $0.99 on Monday, a 20-year-low, following the announcement last week that Russia would cut off gas deliveries to Germany via the Nord Stream pipeline.

The euro fell 0.70 percent to 0.9884 dollars Monday at 0535 GMT, its lowest since December 2002.

The European currency has continued to weaken against the dollar since the start of the year, hammered by economic turbulence and uncertainties sparked by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Russian gas giant Gazprom said Friday the Nord Stream pipeline due to reopen at the weekend would remain shut indefinitely.

It said it had discovered “oil leaks” in a turbine during a planned three-day maintenance operation, and that the pipeline would remain closed until it was repaired.

Resumption of deliveries via the pipeline which runs from near Saint Petersburg to Germany under the Baltic Sea had been due to resume on Saturday.

Following the imposition of economic sanctions over the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, Russia has reduced or halted supplies to different European nations, causing energy prices to soar.

The Kremlin has blamed the reduction of supplies via Nord Stream on European sanctions which it says have blocked the return of a Siemens turbine that had been undergoing repairs in Canada.

I wonder if the EU was counting on Russian gas to get them through the second half of Winter?

Climate Change > Universities, Science, and Climate Change Hysteria; France banning plastic packaging next week, at what cost?

Universities, Science, and Climate Change

One of the great contributors to the spectacular growth of anxiety in children today is Climate Change Hysteria. Governments and Media are mostly responsible for this as they contribute wildly to mental illnesses in young people today.

France to ban plastic packaging for

fresh produce in new year

Plastic packaging for fresh fruits and vegetables will be banned from January 1 in France as the country phases out single-use plastic. Fresh food producers say, however, that they aren't ready yet as little alternative has been found to replace plastic packaging. Meanwhile, up to 29 foods are exempt from France's ban on plastic-wrapped produce including berries, brocoli and mushrooms, among others.

I wonder if anyone has done detailed studies on the benefits of banning plastic packaging and the costs of using less effective forms of packaging? How much will the drop in oil use amount to? How much will the increase in food spoilage amount to? What will be the difference in costs? Has the government sponsored such studies? How can they ban plastic if they haven't?

Military Madness > Billions and Billions of dollars pour into Ukraine ensuring there will be nothing left of it to save

But will NATO and America run out of funds to support this madness in 2024?

EU pays final $1.65 billion of aid package

Dec. 21 (UPI) -- The European Union announced the final $1.65 billion payment of a $19.7 billion aid package for Ukraine Thursday.

"Ukraine is receiving unprecedented financial support from the EU in its fight against the aggressor. Today we have received the last 1.5 billion euros of the 18-billion-euro financial aid package. Hope for continued unwavering support from the EU," Denys Shmyhal posted to X Thursday.

"The Commission has paid the final instalment of €15 billion under the macro-financial assistance operation in the history of the instrument," the European Commission said in a statement Thursday.

The macro-financial assistance package was intended to help Ukraine fund public services, infrastructure and public salaries.

And don't forget the ravenous hunger of corruption rampant in the country.

"With this instrument, the EU helped Ukraine cover its immediate funding needs in 2023 by means of stable, predictable and sizeable financial support," the commission said.

The commission said Ukraine had met anti-corruption criteria.

"Ukraine has notably achieved important progress to enhance macro-financial stability with the improvement of the bankruptcy and insolvency framework, as well as to strengthen the rule of law with for instance the strengthening of the independence of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office," the commission said.

Last month NATO ministers pledged continued support for Ukraine for as long as necessary.

Of course, because NATO must keep the inventories of war moving no matter what it costs NATO countries or Ukraine. And when there is nothing left of Ukraine, NATO will descend upon the poor country and lend Ukraine kazillions of dollars to pay American and European companies to rebuild it. This is modern warfare.

"Allies remain steadfast in their commitment to further step up political and practical support to Ukraine as it continues to defend its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity," NATO ministers said in a statement in November.

U.S. support for Ukraine has been caught in legislative wrangling with congressional Republicans saying they will hold up funds until they get concessions on what they characterize as border security funding.

Congress was expected to hold a vote this week but will instead take the up issue in January after the holiday recess.

Dec. 27 (UPI) -- The Biden administration announced an additional $250 million in military aid for Ukraine on Wednesday, as U.S. funding for the country's nearly two-year war against Russia runs out.

The package of weapons and equipment, which is the final military package of the year, includes "air defense munitions, other air defense system components, additional ammunition for high mobility artillery rocket systems, 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, anti-armor munitions and more than 15 million rounds of ammunition," the U.S. State Department announced in a statement Wednesday.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken also urged Congress to "act swiftly, as soon as possible, to advance our national security interests by helping Ukraine defend itself and secure its future."

Last week, the Biden administration said it was planning to provide one more Ukraine military package this year, without lawmakers' approval, after unveiling an emergency supplement funding bill in October that would provide $60 billion in military assistance to Ukraine.

The funding has met strong resistance from Republicans, who are demanding the package include more money go to securing the U.S. border. Earlier this month, Republicans in the Senate stalled Ukraine military aid in a 49-51 vote.

"Unless Congress acts to pass the president's national security supplemental funding request, this will be one of the last security assistance packages we can provide to Ukraine," Blinken warned earlier this month.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Washington, D.C., two weeks ago, to urge Congressional leaders and President Joe Biden to provide more funding to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"American leadership is crucial to keep unity together for the entire free world," Zelensky warned, as Biden urged Congress to act before the end of the year.

"Without supplemental funding, we're rapidly coming to an end of our ability to help Ukraine respond to the urgent operational demands that it has," Biden said. "Putin is banking on the United States failing to deliver for Ukraine. We must, we must, we must prove him wrong."

A coalition of more than 50 countries, including the United States, has provided support for Ukraine's forces since Russia invaded in February 2022. The United States has provided more than $46 billion in military aid.

Islam in Asia > Muslim Terrorists ambush Indian Army; False Blasphemy charge devastates family

5 (Indian) Army soldiers killed in Jammu and Kashmir,

ambushed by terrorists at ‘blind curve’

India Today, December 22, 2023:

Five soldiers were killed and two injured when heavily-armed terrorists ambushed two Army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Thursday, officials told news agency PTI. The attack took place at Dhatyar Morh between Dhera Ki Gali and Bufliaz around 3:45 pm, officials said.

Sources told India Today TV that the Dhatyar Morh location in Poonch district was chosen by terrorists to attack as the Army vehicles slowed down at this point due to a blind curve and bumpy road. The terrorists positioned themselves atop a hill at Dhatyar Morh between Dhera Ki Gali and Bufliaz, from where they fired bullets at the two Army vehicles, sources said.

Terrorists may have done a recee at the attack site where the two Army vehicles — a truck and a Maruti Gypsy — were ambushed, sources said, adding that three or four of them were believed to be involved in the attack.

The Army vehicles were ambushed by the terrorists at Dhatyar Morh when they slowed down at the blind curve. Security forces had retaliated, but terrorists managed to flee from that location, sources further said. (…)

Meanwhile, Border Security Force (BSF) Inspector-General (IG) Ashok Yadav said soldiers were alert and cautious in the border area to eliminate any attempts of infiltration by terrorists.

He said 250 to 300 terrorists were waiting to infiltrate India according to intelligence inputs, adding that security forces were ready to prepare for any eventuality…

Blasphemy Charge Devastates Christian Family

in Pakistan

Morning Star News, November 29, 2023:

LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News)A court in Pakistan this month granted bail to a Christian falsely charged with blasphemy, but he and his family have separated and gone into hiding amid threats to their lives, sources said.

Haroon Shahzad, 45, was released from Sargodha District Jail on Nov. 15, said his attorney, Aneeqa Maria. Shahzad was charged with blasphemy on June 30 after posting Bible verses on Facebook that infuriated Muslims, causing dozens of Christian families in Chak 49 Shumaali, near Sargodha in Punjab Province, to flee their homes.

Lahore High Court Judge Ali Baqir Najfi granted bail on Nov. 6, but the decision and his release on Nov. 15 were not made public until now due to security fears for his life, Maria said.

Shahzad told Morning Star News by telephone from an undisclosed location that the false accusation has changed his family’s lives forever.

“My family has been on the run from the time I was implicated in this false charge and arrested by the police under mob pressure,” Shahzad told Morning Star News. “My eldest daughter had just started her second year in college, but it’s been more than four months now that she hasn’t been able to return to her institution. My other children are also unable to resume their education as my family is compelled to change their location after 15-20 days as a security precaution.”

Mob pressure is another term for Islamic Hysteria.

Though he was not tortured during incarceration, he said, the pain of being away from his family and thinking about their well-being and safety gave him countless sleepless nights.

“All of this is due to the fact that the complainant, Imran Ladhar, has widely shared my photo on social media and declared me liable for death for alleged blasphemy,” he said in a choked voice. “As soon as Ladhar heard about my bail, he and his accomplices started gathering people in the village and incited them against me and my family. He’s trying his best to ensure that we are never able to go back to the village.”

Another example of Islamic Hysteria.

Shahzad has met with his family only once since his release on bail, and they are unable to return to their village in the foreseeable future, he said.

“We are not together,” he told Morning Star News. “They are living at a relative’s house while I’m taking refuge elsewhere. I don’t know when this agonizing situation will come to an end.”

Only when you leave Pakistan. "Come out of her my people!"

The Christian said the complainant, said to be a member of Islamist extremist party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan and also allegedly connected with banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, filed the charge because of a grudge. Shahzad said he and his family had obtained valuable government land and allotted it for construction of a church building, and Ladhar and others had filed multiple cases against the allotment and lost all of them after a four-year legal battle….

This is how Pakistan's blasphemy laws are blatantly abused. It appears from recent cases that the judicial system is learning this and has some empathy toward abused Christians.
