Russian Islamic Country bans full-face veil after jihad massacres

Russia: Islamic authorities in Dagestan

ban full-face veil after jihad massacres

In Dagestan, which is overwhelmingly Muslim, one can acknowledge that the niqab poses a security risk. But to say such a thing in the West would be racist and “Islamophobic.”

Islamic authorities in Russia’s Dagestan ban full-face veil after attacks

Reuters, July 3, 2024:

MOSCOW, July 3 (Reuters) Islamic authorities in Russia’s mostly-Muslim North Caucasus region of Dagestan on Wednesday temporarily banned women from wearing the niqab full-face veil, after simultaneous attacks targeting churches and synagogues killed 22 last month.

In a statement posted on the Telegram messenger app, the Dagestan Muftiate said it was introducing a “temporary” ban on the niqab after an appeal from Russia’s ministry of nationality policy and religious affairs.

Reports following the attacks on June 23 said one of the gunmen had planned to escape wearing a niqab.

The muftiate, a religious organisation representing Dagestani Muslims, said that the ban would remain in place “until the identified threats are eliminated and a new theological conclusion is reached”….

U.N.: Taliban defy 'general amnesty' with 800 extrajudicial killings,

arrests in Afghanistan

Aug. 22 (UPI) -- The United Nations accused the Taliban in Afghanistan of being involved in at least 800 extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests and detention of members of its former government that was supported by the United States, according to a report released Tuesday.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, or UNAMA, said it recorded credible reports of serious human rights violations by Taliban authorities against hundreds of former government officials and former armed forces members.

The instances also include torture, ill-treatment and enforced disappearance carried out against individuals affiliated with the former government and its security forces. The actions are happening despite the Taliban's promise to give "general amnesty" to former government officials and former members of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.

"UNAMA's report presents a sobering picture of the treatment of individuals affiliated with the former government and security forces of Afghanistan since the Taliban takeover of the country," said Volker Turk, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, in a statement.

"Even more so, given they were assured that they would be not targeted, it is a betrayal of the people's trust. I urge the de facto authorities to carefully consider the findings of this report and to uphold their obligations under international human rights law by preventing further violations and holding perpetrators to account."

Muslims are under no compulsion to tell the truth to non-Muslims, according to the Quran.

The report said former government officials and security members have suffered beatings with pipes, cables, verbal threats and abuse. It said their relatives have also been arrested or gone missing, with their bodies being found days and months later.

The report said that the former leader of the Herat Women's Prison, Alia Azizi, has been missing since October 2021.

"To date, efforts by the de facto authorities to investigate and hold perpetrators accountable for the incidents described in the UNAMA report have been extremely limited," the report said. "Even in the few, isolated cases where an investigation was announced by the de facto authorities, progress lacks transparency and accountability; impunity prevails."

Roza Otunbayeva, the secretary-general's special representative for Afghanistan and head of UNAMA, said the initial Taliban announcement of a general amnesty in August 2021 was welcomed but has not materialized.

"The de facto authorities must demonstrate a genuine commitment to the general amnesty," she said. "This is a crucial step in ensuring real prospects for justice, reconciliation and lasting peace in Afghanistan."

Roza, Roza, Roza, do you really think such a thing is possible under the Taliban?

GP to be monitored by a ‘responsible officer’ after asking

Muslim woman to remove veil

by Jack Walters, GB News, August 21, 2023:

A General Practitioner is being forced to be monitored by a “responsible officer” after asking a Muslim woman to remove her veil.

Dr Keith Wolverson was suspended for nine months after being found guilty of or admitting to a total of 17 charges of misconduct relating to incidents between January and May 2018.

The incidents involving the GP, who was working as a locum at a walk-in centre at Royal Stoke University Hospital, concern urgent care centres in both Derby and Stoke.

Dr Wolverson asked a patient to take off her niqab three times as he could not hear her describing her daughter’s symptoms.

The woman’s husband put forward a complaint following the incident.

She also told last year’s hearing that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated” against during the consultation.

It's understandable, invisible women are uncomfortable at the thought of being visible, especially if their husband is in the room.

He told a review hearing he “deeply regretted” the incident and stressed he learned from his mistakes.

Does that mean he's prepared to treat children without knowing what their mother is saying?

The Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service (MPTS) decided to follow his suspension with sanctions for a further year after ruling he had not shown sufficient “insight” into his actions nor taken a course in “cultural diversity”

Dr Wolverson told the tribunal: “It would be completely wrong to maintain the suspension and prohibit a doctor further from doing his duty to his patients when there are such grave shortages within the NHS currently.”

Did the MPTS offer a solution to the doctor's problem of not being able to hear the niqab wearer? It seems like they are willing to sacrifice good medical care for the mother's feelings. But then, the other 14 charges were not explained.

In Sadiq Khan’s London, Is Diversity Really Our Strength?

AUG 24, 2023 10:00 AM BY HUGH FITZGERALD

For Sadiq Khan, the defense and promotion of “diversity” has become an obsession. Last summer, Sadiq Khan earned the outrage of many Londoners for his expensive focus on this “diversity”; they discovered he now spends annually close to $2 million on”diversity” bosses for London Transport, far more than he does on employees devoted to keeping fares down, or on improving safety in the system.

Here’s some of Khan’s praise of “diversity” from 2019:

London mayor Sadiq Khan told reporters that diversity is one of the British capital’s strengths
in the wake of the London Bridge attack, and that all great cities are targets for terrorists.

Not “all great cities” are targets of terrorists. Only those cities where there are significant populations of Muslims are such targets. Such cities as Shanghai, Moscow, Rio De Janeiro, Canberra have very few Muslims, and almost no terrorism. Sadiq Khan is hoping that no one will dare to investigate his claim that “all great cities are targets for terrorists.”

And after the London Bridge attack, Khan had the effrontery to claim that “diversity” is “one of [London’s] great strengths,” when the attack was merely further proof that the “diversity” provided by Muslims in Great Britain had led to more terrorism, from the 7/7/2005 metro and bus bombings, to the macabre murder by two machete-wielding Muslims of Drummer Rigby, to the killing of MP David Arness while he was meeting with constituents, by Islamic State supporter Ali Harbi Ali. Such “diversity” is also responsible for the grooming gangs of Pakistanis who have seduced, drugged, and passed around like candy for the sexual pleasure of their friends, tens of thousands of young British girls, whose lives have been ruined. “Diversity” has brought a world of woe to the people of Great Britain.

“Look, I’m mayor of the greatest city in the world, and one of our strengths is our diversity,”
he told reporters shortly the attack by Usman Khan, a convicted radical Islamic terrorist who
had been freed from prison on a tag after serving less than half of a 16-year term, which left
two dead and three injured.

This insistence that “diversity is our strength” is the byword not just of Sadiq Khan, but of many European politicians, and above all, of former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who in just one year — 2015 — allowed one million Muslims into Germany. It is stated as a given; no evidence need be offered. But why should we accept this assertion? Is all “diversity” a “source of strength”? What kind of “strength”? Start asking these questions, and you will not get a coherent answer, but merely self-satisfied and bullying repetition of the mantra — “diversity is our strength” — that brooks of no disagreement. It needs no proof, for there is none. In Seoul, in Beijing, in Tokyo, in Warsaw, in Budapest, there is precious little diversity, and no one in those cities appears to be longing for it to arrive, so that those capitals can be more like the London of Sadiq Khan. London’s “diversity” finds its expression not just in the terrorist attacks that fill Londoners with anxiety, but in the crime wave of stabbings by Muslim criminals, in the “greatest city in the world.” The “diversity” that the 3.5 million Muslims have brought to Great Britain includes, as well, the Pakistani rooming gangs in a dozen of its cities that have destroyed the lives of tens of thousands of English girls, the victims of “diversity” whom Sadiq Khan appears not to have noticed.

“But we do know there are people out there who hate our diversity, hate what we stand for,
and are trying to seek to divide us”, he added — although his grounds for appearing to
suggest that terrorists despise Britain for being diverse were unclear.

Muslim terrorists don’t hate an abstraction called “diversity.” They hate Infidels not for their views (“what they stand for”), but simply because they are Infidels. No other reason need be given. Muslim terrorists are not killing people because they “hate diversity,” but because they hate all non-Muslims, as instructed by the Qur’an and hadith. The Qur’an teaches Muslims that they are the “best of peoples” and non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings.” Given that, why would any Muslim want to integrate into a society created by Infidels? Even in an overwhelmingly Muslim country such as Pakistan, where there is no “diversity” to speak of, Muslims still have been guilty of terrorizing, and murdering, members of the tiny communities of Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and Ahmadis.

Who are the people who are taught to “hate our diversity”? Sadiq Khan thinks it is the British. But the British are the ones who opened their doors to immigrants from all over. They were prepared to embrace “diversity,” and for a time did so. But by now they have been mugged by the reality of Muslim crime, Muslim grifters on the government dole, Muslim hatred of Infidels. The British do not object to other immigrants — Hindus, Chinese, Andean Indians, Filipinos, black Christians from sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. The British now understand the havoc Muslim migrants wreak on government finances, because of the billions of dollars spent on them annually, have noticed the steep rise both in property crimes, and in crimes of violence, including rapes, and murders, for which Muslims have been responsible. They also feel the physical insecurity created by young Muslim men who find it great fun to attack non-Muslims on the streets; it’s even more fun if the victims are Jews or women who are dressed “inappropriately.” Why should Muslims, the “best of peoples,” want to have anything to do with Infidels, “the most vile of created beings”? After all, the Qur’an tells Muslims not to take Christians or Jews as friends, “for they are friends only with each other.” The doctrine of Al-wala’ wa-l-bara’ (Arabic: الولاء والبراء‎) is a concept in Islam, literally “loyalty and disavowal,” which signifies loving and hating for the sake of Allah. This type of love requires Muslims to love those who are obedient to Allah and to defend and assist them, and to hate those who are disobedient, which means all non-Muslims.

Muslims are thus taught not to integrate into a non-Muslim society but, instead, are instructed in many dozens of Qur’anic verses to fight, to kill, to smite at the necks of, to strike terror in the hearts of, non-Muslims. Is such a population a source of “strength” for British society, or is it, rather, a source of physical danger and societal disarray? We know the answer to this: look at the London that Sadiq Khan has helped create, and what his cherished “diversity” has meant to the social fabric, and to the physical safety, of Londoners.

Sadiq Khan had posted on his mayoral website an official guide on how to portray the “brand” of the mayor and the Greater London Authority. It included a a photograph of a young white family with the words: “’Doesn’t represent real Londoners.”

This nastiness appeared despite the fact that the guide opened with the words: “A City For All Londoners,” and a promise to appeal to “everyone, no matter their age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability or family make up.” Apparently the Mayor’s attempt at inclusivity did not include one group of people — white people in London — whom he claimed are not “real Londoners,” unlike, say, those of Pakistani descent, such as Sadiq Khan himself.

After the fury broke, Sadiq Khan offered as his excuse that he had no idea what appeared as his official guide to London, a guide that he had offered as his own work; he claimed that someone else in his office, without his knowledge, had added the remark “doesn’t represent real Londoners.” I think Sadiq Khan knew exactly what was in the caption; either he wrote it himself, or if an aide wrote it, Khan — famously known to micromanage — would certainly have gone through every word in that guide before posting it on his official website. Of course he knew what words appeared over that photograph.

That is the pass to which the U.K. has now come, thanks to the millions of Muslims who are now in the country, and voting their fellow Muslims – such as Sadiq Khan — into high office, where they have already begun the process of marginalizing the native English by describing them, if they live in London, as “not representing real Londoners.”

When will the voters in London send the intolerable Sadiq Khan packing? What more must Khan do to be unseated as mayor by those he describes as “not real Londoners”?

France: Muslim leads cops on dangerous car chase, screams

‘Allahu akbar! I’m going to blow them all up’

AUG 24, 2023 3:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

File S is France’s terror watch list. It is just as effective as terror watch lists in other countries, which is not at all. Frédéric later explained that he screamed “Allahu akbar” because “We scare each other with that.”

Yes, that’s the idea, although it’s not actually a matter of scaring “each other”; the scaring is all done by the jihadis. 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta reminded himself to “shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.”

Manon Noël, deputy public prosecutor, noted that “it is clear that everything that has been put in place has failed.”

Yes, and everything that has been put in place will continue to fail, because everything that has been put in place is based on false assumptions and wishful thinking rather than reality regarding Islam.

INFO LA DEPECHE. Tarn-et-Garonne: one year in prison for the instigator of the crazy chase, file S

Translated from “INFO LA DEPECHE. Tarn-et-Garonne : un an de prison ferme pour l’auteur de la course folle, fiché S,”

by Thierry Dupuy, La Depeche, August 16, 2023

A 39-year-old motorist was sentenced, this Wednesday, August 16, in immediate appearance at the Montauban court. After his refusal to comply, five days earlier, a chase began with the municipal police, who ended up immobilizing him by shooting him with an electric pulse gun.

It may not be a record in this area, but it is what we call, all the same, having a good criminal record. At 39, this man who has already spent seventeen years of his life in prison, has nineteen entries on his document listing his court convictions. A record on which is found a large number of offenses punishable by law: theft of all kinds, degradation, drug trafficking, insults, rebellion, complicity in assassination, trickery, destruction of property… In short, a human breviary of the Penal Code.

This time, Frédéric, on file S after his radicalization in prison, was “hooked” for refusing to comply. Which therefore earned him to be presented, this Wednesday, August 16, in immediate appearance before the judicial court of Montauban.

“Allah akbar! I will blow them all up”

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday August 11, a Montauban municipal police crew spotted a gray Volkswagen Golf with three men on board in the city center. According to the conclusions of the investigation which will be entrusted to the police station, the trio was, at that time, doing some somewhat special shopping: purchases of cocaine and ecstasy in town.

Suddenly, the car made a U-turn on the Mortarieu alleys, before engaging in a chase in the Consul Dupuy alleys. The driver headed at high speed towards the districts of Sapiac, then Villebourbon. In passing, he ripped off the rearview mirror of a car, then burned a red light. And he ended up stopping, in the district of Villebourbon, abandoning his car and his fellow chasers not far from Pont-Vieux.

Still as determined, Frédéric continued his escape on foot, while the two passengers were quickly arrested by the police. Almost at the same time, the younger of the two men then received a call from Frédéric on his phone: “Allah akbar! I’m going to put on my explosive belt and I’m going to blow them all up.” The tension went up a notch.

Warned that they were dealing with an S file, the police were more and more worried. Around 7 p.m., when the suspect was located on the public highway, in the Villebourbon district, the municipal police officers prepared to arrest him. When the suspect slips a hand under his shirt and raises his head to the sky, officers fear the worst. They do not hesitate to shoot him with their electric pulse gun. He is neutralized.

“I panicked, I didn’t want to hurt anyone”

During the hearing, there was never any question of the reasons why this native of Figeac was on file S for terrorism, nor of his radicalization in detention. On the other hand, the court asked the defendant, of course, for explanations on the “Allah akbar” launched on the telephone. “There was no intention on my part to hurt anyone. We scare each other with that. That’s all,” he simply replied to the president of the court Virginie Lagarrigue.

So, running from the police, he decided it was a good time to scare his friend? That makes sense, right?

And why did you refuse to comply? “I panicked. I had a broken headlight, and a problem on my gray card which was not up to date. I would have done better to stop. I would have been fined and my life would have continued normally. I had found a job. I had to pick apples from Monday.”

Manon Noël, deputy public prosecutor, estimated “that we are coming to the end of the race with Mr…. It is clear that everything that has been put in place has failed.” According to her, “he behaved in a very disturbing way.” The public prosecutor requested fifteen months in prison with continued detention.

Julie Emilie Rodriguez, Frédéric’s lawyer, felt “that we do not condemn on a profile, but on facts.” She asked for a mixed sentence, “so that she can do everything possible when he gets out of prison so that he can reintegrate.

Pfft! Reintegrate? 17 years in prison, radicalization, and 19 charges; where was the integration?

Woman Jailed for 3 Months in France for Refusing to Remove Niqab, Arrest Sparks Riots

The New Normal - France and the Niqab

A French court has handed a woman a six-month prison sentence for refusing a police officer’s request that she remove her niqab. The decision has sparked outrage in the French Muslim community.

The sentence follows the woman’s dramatic arrest in the southern city of Toulouse last month after she was stopped by police for wearing a full-face veil, which is illegal in France.

She allegedly showed a poor-quality photocopy of her identity card and refused to lift her veil to let the officers see her face. After numerous attempts to have her remove the veil, the woman began to scream for help.

The woman was placed under arrest and moved into a police vehicle. The police officers were then confronted by a group of approximately 30 people. Officers attempted to dispel the crowd using tear gas and by discharging their weapons. The incident is blamed for sparking furious riots in the city with more than a dozen cars burnt out over two nights of unrest.

One month ago in Toulouse

The 37-year-old woman was handed the six-month sentence, with three months suspended, by the Toulouse Criminal Court on Thursday, FranceInfo reports. She was prosecuted for contempt, rebellion, and for making death threats against the police. She was also given a €100 fine and €1,000 in damages to be split between two police officers.

In the aftermath of her detention, the woman rejected the police version of events, saying the officers subjected her to insults. She also denied wearing the niqab, according to earlier reports.

The sentencing has provoked anger among the French Muslim community. The Islam&Info Facebook page, which has over 400,000 followers, posted a statement condemning the verdict. “She's the one who got molested by the police and we're condemning this mom to prison,” it said of the woman at the center of the case. “Islamophobic injustice is at all levels in France. May Allah protect her and facilitate her.”

French-Algerian Millionaire Vows to Pay Burqa Ban Fines in Austria

He's already paying them elsewhere in Europe

© Global Look Press

As less than two weeks are left before the ban on Muslim face veils coming into force in Austria, a French businessman of Algerian origin called on Austrian Muslim women to defy the ban, offering to pay all their fines.

“I am reaching out to all women in Europe and especially to women in Austria who voluntarily wear the burqa, I will always be there and pay the fines,” Rachid Nekkaz, a French property dealer and a millionaire with Algerian roots, who says he is not personally a “face veil advocate,” told the Austrian Servus TV in an interview seen by Reuters. The interview will be aired on Thursday evening.

“If one accepts religious freedom, one must also accept the manifestations of religion,” he also said, adding that he seeks to protect the people’s right to openly demonstrate their religious beliefs, the Austrian APA news agency reports.

Child brides are a manifestation of religious beliefs, are you in favour of that M. Nekkaz? How about honour killings? Supporting a tradition that makes women invisible is not doing anything to help those women. It is keeping them confined to a cotton prison and for one reason only - because Islamic men appear completely unable to control themselves.

Nekkaz already pays fines for Muslim women wearing face veils in public places defiance of the ban in such countries as France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. He even established a special organization called “Touche pas à ma constitution” (Do not touch my constitution) that settles these bills.

According to Nekkaz, he already spent around € 300,000 ($360,000) covering face-veil fines in various countries.

His proposal, however, was slammed by Austrian authorities. Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz already threatened the businessman with charges over “incitement to commit an offense.”

“We would certainly not let it happen,” Kurz said, adding that "those who would wear the niqab or burqa in Austria should expect to face the consequences,” APA reported.

The minister, who is also a leading candidate of the Austrian conservative Austrian People's Party (OVP) at the forthcoming parliamentary elections, said that Nekkaz’s words should be examined for whether they constitute an “administrative offense,” adding that the millionaire could also “face appropriate consequences.”

You could try and charge him with 'administrative' crimes, incitement to commit an offense, etc. Or, you could alter the fines making them much higher and use it as a source of revenue. You could also adjust the law to either introduce jail terms for repeated offenses, or simply double the fine for the 2nd offense, triple it for a third, quadruple it for a 4th, etc. You could also remove them from welfare rolls for consistently breaking the law.

Why aren't the French already charging him for subverting the law?

“We will not tolerate any symbols that are aimed at establishment of a parallel society [in Austria],” Kurz said.

Austria approved the ban on full face veils in May, as part of a large "integration law" which the Foreign Ministry says is aimed at encouraging people to assimilate into Austrian culture. The legislation comes into force on October 1.

However, the legislation called the “Anti-Face-Veiling Act,” which is also commonly referred to as a “burqa ban,” covers not only the conservative Muslim headwear, such as burqa or niqab. People wearing balaclavas, covering their faces with scarves or even wearing medical masks without sufficient reasons could also be found in violation of the new law.

Danish Woman Deported to Tunisia for Refusing to Remove Niqab at Belgian Airport

This is a shocking story. Shocking in that it is a completely
uncharacteristically sensible decision by an EU country.
Whoa! Who saw that coming?

A Danish Muslim woman has been deported to Tunisia for refusing to remove her religious veil while going through security at Brussels Airport, Belgium’s State Secretary for Asylum and Migration has said.

The woman landed at Brussels Zaventem Airport on Wednesday on a flight from Tunis, Tunisia.

In a post on Facebook, immigration minister Theo Francken said that the woman had refused to show her face in Tunis and again refused to do so in Belgium.

“After she refused to make her face visible in Tunis, she refused to do so in Zaventem. Our border police then refused her access to the Schengen area. Without identity checks, no access to our territory,” he said.

The woman was deported to Tunisia on Friday.

Belgium banned the full face veil in 2011. Women wearing the veils can face fines and up to seven days in jail for repeat offences.

The law was challenged at the the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in 2013, but in July of this year, the court upheld the ban, ruling that it doesn’t violate European human rights law.

Francken is a member of Belgium's largest party, the New Flemish Alliance, a conservative party which campaigns for the peaceful secession of Flanders from Belgium.

The immigration minister made headlines in November last year when he refused to furnish a visa for a family of refugees from Syria after a court ruling which granted them a humanitarian visa.

The European Court of Justice upheld Francken’s decision in March.

Germany's Experiment with Islam Takes Another Step Forward

While some of us who watch world events see the extraordinary migration of Muslims into Europe in the last couple years as being the first steps in the Islamization of the continent, Europeans, many of them, mostly liberals, believe European culture is strong enough to endure Islam. Germans, for instance, believe that Muslims will fit into German society in time.

This new mosque is probably seen as confirmation that they are correct. Their priorities seem to be equality and living together in harmony, which is laudable, but has little to do with Islam. That is born out by the venom and threats that have poured out upon the mosques leaders. I expect the mosque and it's leaders will be big targets for violence, not from neo-Nazis, but from traditional Muslims not willing to be westernized.

‘Islamist side’ issues death threats,
Berlin ‘liberal mosque’ co-founder says

A co-founder of the first “liberal mosque,” which opened in the German capital last week, has faced intimidation, including death threats, she told RT Deutsch.

“Death threats, and other threats… are partly coming from the Islamist side,” Seyran Ates said. She is one of the seven founders of the unusual prayer site, which accepts everyone except those wearing a full face veil, such as a niqab or burka.

Ates, however, who is a women’s rights activist and lawyer, stated that the threats should not stop people’s fight for their values.

“As a civil society, we cannot let ourselves be guided by those who threaten us and who forbid us to do something, [threatening] to otherwise take our lives. It is only when we fight together against this hatred that we can change something.”

Earlier, the co-founder said that even before opening the mosque, she had already received some “very violent and obscene” threats. She even requested police protection at last week’s opening.

Thousands of people have reacted to Ates’ activities on Facebook, as a DW Arabic report about her gained more than a million views within just four days and received almost 16,000 comments. A large portion of the comments condemned the idea of the mosque.

“This is not the religion of our prophet,” one comment under the video reads.

“Is this a mosque or a club? A woman who is showing her breasts during praying? And who is serving as an example for all liberal Muslims and [as a female] Imam? Absurd,” another person said.

I think the term 'showing her breasts' might have a different connotation in Islam than elsewhere in the world. I expect the woman was fully clothed but the fact that she had breasts was not hidden in the Islamic tradition of women being invisible because men cannot control themselves otherwise.

Muslims need a culture to speak fearlessly to each other, another founder of the mosque and Islamic scholar, Abdel-Hakim Ourghi, told RT Deutsch earlier.

He said that the founders want people of all religions to live together peacefully. Although this path is difficult, it is only a matter of time, he added.

“We want our kids – both from the monotheistic religions, as well as children of atheists – to finally live in peace together… And I believe that it is a question of time. It is not an easy path, it is something new and I believe it is a challenge for the conservatives in Germany, the so-called established umbrella organizations,” Abdel-Hakim Ourghi said in an interview.

He added that Muslims need a culture in which they can peacefully talk to each other regardless of the branches of Islam they are representing.

The first mosque in Germany offering a place of worship to believers of all Muslim denominations, giving equal rights to male and female worshippers, and friendly to the LGBT community, opened on June 17 in the heart of Berlin.

Entering in niqabs and burkas, which is obligatory for women according to Muslim rules, is prohibited there.

I'm curious to know who funded the building of the mosque? It certainly wasn't Saudi Arabia.

Burqas, Mosques, ‘Gay Propaganda’ All Banned in Hungarian Village

Mayor thinks he has a strategy for
all of Hungary to follow

    Reuters

The far-right mayor of a southern Hungarian village has banned the open expression of Islam, including the building of mosques and wearing of veils and headscarves, as well as the promotion of same-sex marriages.

In a post on Facebook, Laszlo Toroczkai, mayor of Asotthalom, a village near the Serbian border, (population about 4,000), outlined the proposals adopted by his council after a session on Wednesday.

All board members voted for the new rules, with only two abstentions. How many board members can there be in a village of 4,000?

“Instead of looking for a scapegoat, I offer an immediate solution, a defense against the forced mass resettlement [of migrants] by Brussels,” Toroczkai wrote in his post.

“Today the Asotthalom village council adopted my proposal – which is an action package – to defend our community and traditions from any plan for the outside resettlement [of migrants]. All that needs to be done is for the rest of Hungary’s municipalities to adopt our preventative action package, and with that we will have defended our homeland.”

    Asotthalom, Hungary

The measures that Toroczkai put in place include a ban on the construction of mosques and any other place of worship which undermines the Catholic Church, a ban on the muezzin’s traditional call to prayer, and a ban on all face coverings such as the hijab, niqab and burqa, as well as the burkini.

Additionally, the ordinance also bans any kind of “public propaganda” which shows the institution of marriage being in any way other than “between a man and woman. This includes any public activity, performance, demonstrations, billboard, leaflet, or audio advertisement.”

These measures, Toroczkai says, will protect Hungary from the “two pagans”: migration from the south, and “extreme liberalism” from the West.

Toroczkai belongs to the far-right Jobbik party, whose stated aim is protecting “Hungarian values and interests.” But the party has also been accused of racism, anti-Semitism and homophobia.

"I want to be an example to other pioneering local authorities on how to protect themselves from external resettlement or any other subversive intentions," he said at the council meeting, as reported by delmagyar.hu.

Toroczkai is also the leader of the Sixty-Four Countries Youth Movement, a nationalist group seeking to reclaim lands that have historically belonged to Hungary. He is also known for his harsh anti-migrant rhetoric, including an action-movie like video showing big, burly men giving chase to illegal immigrants on motorcycles, helicopters and even on horseback.

Hungary is one of the European countries least welcoming to refugees and asylum seekers. In a referendum held in October, 98.3 percent of Hungarian voters rejected mandatory EU asylum seeker quotas in a referendum proposed by PM Viktor Orban. However, the referendum failed to reach the required 50 percent turnout, partly due to a boycott by the opposition. Orban himself has made a number of remarks on the subject, including suggesting that all refugees who came illegally be deported onto camps on an island or off the coast of Africa.

I have some sympathy for what Toroczkai is trying to do, although I shiver from the thought of associating myself with the racism of Jobbik. Nevertheless, he, and Orban are correct to defend Hungary against the Islamic invasion that will destroy much of the rest of Europe by the middle of this century, and the rest of it by the end of the century.

Hungary has no official religion although more than half of all Hungarians are Christian with the majority of them being Catholic. It seems like Toroczkai would want Catholicism as the official religion which is not acceptable as there are large numbers of Protestants. Other religions make up less than 1% of the population each, and barely exceed 1% in total. I suspect, Toroczkai and Orban would both like to keep it that way.

No to Multi-Culturalism? Merkel’s Bavarian Allies Call for ‘Dominant’ National, Christian Values

The Bavarian ruling party and Merkel’s ally CSU has proposed a set of new measures aimed at toughening Germany’s refugee policy and fostering integration and particularly called for enshrining the priority of the German traditional and Christian values in the legislation.

“Germany must stay Germany,” says the document by the Christian Social Union party (CSU), which was published by the Bavarian Kurier daily. “We are against our open-to-the-world country being changed through migration and inflow of refugees,” it adds, emphasizing that “it is not the Germans, who should look up to the refugees…” but, on the contrary those who come to Germany should adopt German culture.

The paper also lashes out at the multiculturalism policy advocated by Merkel. It proposes to introduce a “dominant culture” (Leitkultur) rule in Bavaria that would mean the opposite to multi-culturalism and would encompass all the German traditional national and Christian values as well as customs and traditions.

Germany is actually living in a post-Christian culture but most values are still sacred, if nothing else is.

Multiculturalism becomes unworkable when there is mass migration of a single culture into a state with significantly different values. There has to be some give on both sides for any possibility of it working, but many Muslims are intractable and expect the Germans to give way to their backward culture from the Dark Ages. If they do, it's a slippery slope and will eventually lead to the end of the post-Christian culture in Germany.

Such dominant, or “guiding” culture, the paper says, should become the basis of social development and integration. It calls it “the best countermeasure against the [creation of] parallel societies and ghettos” demanding to enshrine the particular set of values in the Bavarian Constitution.

The document also calls for an introduction of an annual upper limit for new arrivals that would amount to 200,000 people, citing the necessity to curb the massive refugee influx to facilitate successful integration.

It also says that Germany should favor migrants and refugees with “Christian western culture,” which is close to the European values.

The paper also advocates the re-introduction of full border controls on the German borders “as long as [the system] of protection of the EU external borders does not function,” stressing that the nation “should not tolerate illegal border crossings.”

At the same time, the paper says that only those who are granted entry should be able to come to Germany with all asylum requests being processed directly at the border in specially established “transit zones.” The document also points out that those who are denied entry should be sent back directly at the border.

‘Find another country to wear burqa’

The CSU policy paper also advocates stricter integration rules and says that integration is a duty of those who come to live in Germany. It particularly calls burqa and niqab “a uniform of Islamism, an absolute barrier to integration and a symbol of the repression of women that is unacceptable in [German] culture.”

“Those, who do not want to give up wearing burqa and niqab, should find another country,” the paper says, adding that the CSU will seek “a ban on burqa in all public places, wherever it is legally possible.”

The document also says that any forms of “parallel justice” and “erosion of the German system of justice,” including unofficial Muslim sharia courts, child marriages, forced marriages and polygamy, are unaccepted and should be by no means tolerated.

The paper adds that Germany also should not “tolerate immigration into its welfare system,” emphasizing that refugees and migrants must provide for living themselves instead of just getting social benefits.

That's pretty much impossible sometimes. What are you going to do let people starve?

Another point of the CSU is that asylum does not equals to a “permit for committing crimes in Germany” and those found guilty of committing any crimes should automatically lose their right for asylum and be sent out.

‘One cannot be servant of two masters’

The issue of double citizenship is particularly highlighted in the new CSU policy paper, which refers to it as a huge barrier to integration that leads to “double loyalty.”

“One cannot be a servant of two masters,” the paper says, adding that “those who want to be Germans do not need any other citizenship.” The paper demands an end to dual citizenship as well as an annulation of the regulation that allowed the children of non-German citizens, who were born on German soil and lived in Germany for a long time, to be automatically recognized as Germans.

The CSU also expressed its opposition to the idea of visa liberalization for Turkish citizens and criticized Turkey for “moving away from European and western values” as well as for not fulfilling the necessary requirements for visa liberalization. It also said that the implementation of the refugee deal between Turkey and the EU should not be linked to some “unrelated issues, such as visa liberalization or Turkey’s accession to the EU.”

‘Irresponsible’ and ‘racist’

The document immediately provoked a wave of indignation among German left-wing politicians, who labeled it “irresponsible” and “racist.” Some of them said that it is highly reminiscent of what the right-wing populist party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), demands.

The Green Party leader, Simone Peter, said that the CSU was apparently seeking to become “the Bavarian sister party of the AfD.” At the moment, CSU is commonly referred to as the sister party of the Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU), with both parties sharing the common origin and core program. The CDU does not operate in Bavaria while being present in all other 15 German states.

Jan Korte, an MP from the Left Party, denounced the new policy paper of the CSU as “irresponsible, backward-looking and brimming with hypocrisy.” He also called the idea of selecting migrants by cultural background “racist” and a violation of the German constitution and international human rights conventions.

The new policy paper comes after the electoral success of the right-wing populist and anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD), which beat Merkel’s CDU in several regional elections a year before the national elections to the parliament.

On September 4, the AfD placed second in state elections, ahead of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in her home state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Established in 2013 following the euro crisis, the AfD is already represented in eight out of 16 state parliaments.

Horst Seehofer, the leader of the conservative CSU, has long criticized Angela Merkel’s open-door policy and earlier already proposed to introduce a cap of 200,000 refugees pro year.

Seehofer, who is also the head of the German state of Bavaria, which is a transit region for the vast majority of all asylum seekers arriving in Germany, several times threatened to take the German Chancellor to the Constitutional Court if she fails to change the country’s refugee policy.

Send Them Back: Bavarian Minister Wants to Repatriate 1,000s of Refugees Within 3 Years

Merkel's Migrant Madness under fire from Bavaria

The thousands of migrants that flooded into Germany thanks to Chancellor Merkel’s open-door policy should be sent back home within the next three years, Bavaria’s Finance Minister said in an interview with Spiegel newspaper.

The politician added that the conflicts in the war-torn states the refugees come from should be over within that time-frame.

“In specific terms, we need instead of reunification of migrant families, to repatriate these several hundred thousand refugees within the next three years,” Bavarian FM Marcus Söder said.

“We’ve given many people temporary protection from civil wars, but if the situations in their home countries improve, they should return there to rebuild their homelands. The Asylum Procedure Law stipulates that people should return to their homeland when they no longer need to flee,” he stressed, while noting that some countries that the refugees come from, such as Afghanistan and Iraq, already have safe areas where migrants can go.

Germany accepted more than a million asylum seekers last year. Since the closure of the so-called Balkan route and signing of the refugee pact between the EU and Turkey, the number of refugees flowing into Europe has sharply dropped. Still, there are thousands of asylum seekers crammed into migrant camps all over Europe waiting to be granted the right to stay.

Söder further stated that even “the best of intentions do not have the power to successfully integrate so many people from a completely foreign culture,” pointing to the recently intensifying debate on Islamic attire worn in public places in Germany, especially full-face veils that are deemed to rob Muslim women of a “chance of integrating” into society. A new law is being mulled over by German authorities that would ban the burqa and niqab, garments worn by Muslim women that adhere to ultraconservative interpretations of Islam. Polls suggest that 81% of German citizens support the move, and Söder says he can be counted among them.

“Whoever wants to live here must adapt to our values – and not vice versa. The burqa is not compatible with Germany. If someone wants to keep wearing it, this someone should do it elsewhere,” the politician noted sharply.

I wonder of German courts will agree with that thinking? French courts did not.

The idea for the ban appeared after violent Islamist attacks were carried out in the German cities of Wurzburg and Ansbach this summer, for which Söder blames Merkel, saying that instead of trying to integrate refugees into German culture, the main priority of the government should be protecting the German population.

“It is therefore clear that a simple ‘we can do it’ is not enough,” Söder said.

“I think the citizens would have preferred a different message [from authorities] after the attacks, something like ‘we have realized [the threat].’ But we’re still waiting.”

Her initiative has met strong opposition from a number of European leaders, however, some of whom, like Söder, would prefer to talk about the repatriation and deportation of migrants instead. Austrian Defense Minister Hans Peter Doskozil has suggested that the EU should hold a “summit on deportation” to discuss steps that would speed up the process of returning refugees to their home countries, while slamming Angela Merkel’s “welcoming” approach as “irresponsible.”

The Czech Republic has also openly criticized the quota system, along with Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, which together form the so-called “Visegrad group” that opposes any mandated re-distribution of migrants across the EU.

The German state of Bavaria has been an outspoken critic of Merkel’s refugee policy over the past months. Last year, Bavarian leaders even threatening to sue the federal government if it failed to stem the influx of refugees. Back then, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann warned that if “effective measures” weren’t taken to deal with the crisis, Bavaria would take the matter to the Constitutional Court and charge the German government with endangering “the legal capacity of the German states to act independently.”

Bowing to Islamism Brought Down Canadian NDP Leader

by Tarek Fatah
The Toronto Sun

Former New Democratic Party (NDP) Leader Thomas Mulcair defended the right of a Muslim woman to wear the niqab during her Canadian citizenship swearing-in ceremony.

Thomas Mulcair, the man who could have been Canada's first New Democrat prime minister, will now be remembered as a blip in the country's political history. Having lost last year's election, and not having had the grace to step down as leader of the party at that time, Mulcair was unceremoniously dumped by party activists at last week's NDP convention in Edmonton.

Mulcair and the NDP led the polls before the election and continued to lead them at about the halfway mark. Many NDP'rs and non-NDP'rs thought he was a shoe-in to become Prime Minister.

The conventional wisdom is he was fired by the NDP for losing the election by trying to steer the party towards victory along a path that sacrificed the party's social democratic heritage.

The truth, however, lies elsewhere. Despite Mulcair's lurch to the right, he could still have been prime minister had it not been for his outlandish support for the right of a Muslim woman to wear the Islamic niqab at her Canadian citizenship swearing in ceremony. The issue so captured the minds of Canadians that Maclean's, in its Sept. 25, 2015 issue, labelled the campaign "The niqab election."

By his own admission to CBC radio on Feb. 13, Mulcair said his backing of the niqab cost the NDP heavily. He told Chris Hall on CBC Radio's The House, "(The niqab) hurt us terribly ... I can share with you that the polling we did showed we dropped over 20 points in 48 hours here in Quebec because of the strong stand I took on the niqab."

20 points from which he never recovered. One could argue that it wasn't the niqab issue that cost him the election because Justin Trudeau, who won the election was equally as adamantly in favour of keeping Muslim women invisible. Also, Steven Harper, who was the PM who raised the issue, was defeated. However, that 20 point drop in Quebec clinches it.

Even in this admission, Mulcair made it sound as if he had stood up for Rosa Parks, not a Pakistani immigrant telling Canadians how we need to change our laws to accommodate her.

Even though Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as leader of the then third place Liberal party, also backed the niqab, there was more at stake for Mulcair because the NDP's power base was in Quebec, where people were vocally against all things overtly Islamist.

Indeed, in the middle of the federal election campaign, at least four sitting MPs of the NDP from Quebec denounced the party's niqab policy.

But this subject, central to the NDP's election debacle, did not come up at last weekend's convention. Not one word was said about Mulcair's decision to defend the most misogynistic apparel on earth, one that stamps women as physical possessions to be protected from the supposed sexual depravity of men. Like ostriches, and similar to left wing parties around the globe, the New Democrats simply wanted to stay away from any culture war involving Islamists.

Islamism has become the new sacred cow for the left. No criticism of anything related to Islamic sharia is permitted, as if such discourse itself is blasphemy.

There is also a bizarre movement among left wing feminists to label oppressive anti-women laws written by Muslim men as a human right of Muslim women, with any criticism of these laws labelled as Islamophobia.

New Democrats had a chance to fight Islamist misogyny but instead chose cowardice and, post election, have avoided discussing the niqab issue as if it had never happened.

Canadians, especially the Québécois, will not elect NDP apologists for Islamism today or in the future.

New Democrats should recognize the elephant in the room for what it is -- a challenge to secular liberal democratic society and individual liberty.

They should listen to Trevor Phillips, Britain's former human rights commissioner, who popularized the term "Islamophobia" in 1997, but now admits he "got almost everything wrong" on Muslim issues, noting many followers of Islam are creating "nations within nations" in the West.
