France: Court Ignores Antisemitic Muslim Murderer’s Antisemitism
In France, where more than half of French Jews feel such anxiety for their safety that they have considered emigrating, a series of court cases suggest that when it comes to antisemitic attacks, courts prefer not to believe their “lying eyes,” and instead deny the relevance of the antisemitism that is staring them in the face. A French court on Thursday tossed out antisemitic-motivated charges against a 55-year-old man convicted of murdering his 89-year-old Jewish neighbor in 2022, in what appears to be yet another instance of France’s legal system brushing aside antisemitism.
French authorities in Lyon, in southeastern France, acquitted defendant Rachid Kheniche of aggravated murder charges on antisemitic grounds, rejecting the claim that the killing was committed on account of the victim’s religion.
According to French media, the magistrate of the public prosecutor’s office refused to consider the defendant’s prior antisemitic behavior, including online posts spreading hateful content and promoting conspiracy theories about Jews and Israelis, arguing that it was not directly related to the incident itself. The jurors ultimately agreed and dismissed the presence of an antisemitic motive.
The magistrate deserves formal censure for refusing to consider the murderer’s antisemitic behavior as relevant to his murder of his elderly Jewish neighbor. Rachid Kheniche posted online, apparently extensively, conspiracy theories about Jews and Israelis. Of course his obsession with Jews was connected to the murder; it was in fact the main, if not the sole, reason for the murder: Kheniche’s online posts show that he hated Jews with a maniacal, murderous hatred. The magistrate does not deny that; he simply claims that such hatred was not “directly related” to the murder. But that antisemitism is the fons et origo of the murder of that elderly Jewish man. To deny its relevance is nonsense.
In May 2022, Kheniche threw his neighbor, René Hadjadj, from the 17th floor of his building, an act to which he later admitted.
According to the police investigation, Kheniche and his neighbor were having a discussion when the conflict escalated.
At the time, he told investigators that he had tried to strangle Hadjadj but did not realize what he was doing, as he was experiencing a paranoid episode caused by prior drug use.
Of course. How often have we heard that said of Muslim killers in the West? He was having a sudden mental crisis, a “paranoid episode,” he had no idea where he was, or what he was doing with his hands round the neck of his neighbor. And he didn’t realize he was throwing Hadjadj out the window on the seventeenth floor. He doesn’t deserve prison, he needs psychiatric care.
The court concluded that he was mentally impaired at the time of the crime, reducing his criminal responsibility and lowering the maximum sentence for murder to 20 years….
Mentally impaired because he took drugs, shouldn't that be an aggravating factor as opposed to one that diminishes responsibility?
How hard do you think it is for a murderer to feign mental illness in order to get a shorter sentence, and one focused not on punishment, but on “restoring his sanity”?
Kheniche was ultimately sentenced on Thursday to 18 years in prison and six years of “socio-judicial monitoring.”…
A sentence of only 18 years for murder? Not life? Kheniche’s performance as someone mentally impaired must have been quite convincing.
Kheniche previously referred on social media to “sayanim,” a conspiracy term used to refer to a sleeper agent for Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency. He also reportedly took passport photos and a text in Hebrew found in his victim’s jacket and cut them out. But the magistrate argued that the law required the court only to consider the facts “at the same time as the crime committed,” thereby dismissing past antisemitic and conspiratorial comments….
Past antisemitic comments by Rachid Kheniche ought not to be ignored. They show his state of mind — he hated Jews; he was obsessed with both Jews, and Israel — at the time he threw René Hadjadj out of the window on the seventeenth floor. What would have satisfied this magistrate that antisemitism was a major factor in the murder? Nothing less, it seems, than someone testifying that he heard Kheniche exclaim “death to Jews” at the very moment when he pushed Hadjadj to his death.

Now, why is this? What is the difference between Poland and France?
France didn’t have to do this to itself, but it stigmatized and demonized everyone who warned them of the consequences of what they were doing as “racist” and “Islamophobic.” Now the patriots in France are outnumbered and the general population lacks the will to resist. This will not be like the German occupation, that was over in less than five years. This will be a societal transformation that will end France as we have known it forever, and create a new European Islamic entity in which the native French are in the place of the Coptic Christians in Egypt or the Zoroastrians in Iran.
