Bits and Bites > Man forgets pet python on bus

In Rouen, he takes the bus with his python and forgets it on the seat when leaving

Monday June 3, 2024, a passenger on line F2, in Rouen, got off the bus, forgetting his pet... a python. The vehicle had to be evacuated.

It's a strange stowaway transported by one of the F2 line buses to Rouen. Since Monday June 3, 2024, numerous photos and videos have been circulating in which we can see a python peacefully installed in one of the rear seats of a bus from the Astuce network. It is in fact the pet of a passenger who simply… forgot it on the seat when getting off.

As the bus approaches its terminus, in Mont-Saint-Aignan, a passenger alerts the driver. He first believes it to be a joke: “A passenger came to see me to tell me, I didn’t believe it at first. Then he showed me the photo, and I quickly reacted!  », he says in a comment under a video he posted on the social network TikTok.

The bus evacuated

The bus was evacuated and the owner of the animal, having realized his forgetfulness, very quickly came to collect it: “He didn't even apologize, nothing... He took it, took it back put on his neck and took off on a scooter,” the driver continued in another comment.

A funny incident that the Tip network confirms and regrets: “We can only regret that travelers endanger the safety of others by not respecting the operating regulations of the Tip network: it is prohibited to transport dangerous animals”, declared Guillaume Aribaud, the general director of the Astuce network.
