Pipe bomb explodes near Israeli embassy in Cyprus, no injuries;
4 Syrians arrested

NICOSIA, Cyprus — Police in Cyprus said Saturday they arrested four Syrians on suspicion of setting off a pipe bomb that caused little damage and no injuries not far from Israeli Embassy in the capital Nicosia.
Police said the four, ranging in ages between 17 and 21, face charges of attempted destruction of property using explosives, possession and use of explosives and possession of a knife.
Police did not say whether the bombing, some 30 meters (98 feet) from the Israeli embassy was connected to Israel’s war against Hamas, sparked by the terror group’s devastating onslaught on southern Israel on October 7.
A Nicosia court ordered that the suspects remain in police detention for six days until investigators can formally bring charges against them or release them.
According to police, two of the suspects were spotted walking near the scene of the explosion, while the other two were sitting inside a car parked in a nearby alley.
Two knives and a hammer were also found inside the vehicle.
Cypriot explosive experts called to the site found the remains of a detonated pipe bomb, causing slight damage. Police said it contained the type of explosive material used in making fireworks….

Terrorist attack in UK linked to Gaza, public not told

An asylum seeker bent on avenging deaths in Gaza has carried out a suspected terrorist attack in Britain, The Telegraph can disclose.
The public has not been told that the man, who came to the UK in 2020, told police he had done it for “Palestine”.
MPs said on Friday night that the public had a right to know, amid warnings that demonstrations this weekend could encourage so-called lone-wolf terrorist attacks….
The details that can be reported are highly restricted for legal reasons, but the suspect – who is now in custody – said after his arrest that he had done it because Israel had killed children in Gaza.
Senior politicians have questioned why such information has not been made public at a time when the police and security services are on high alert for terrorist attacks motivated by the Israel-Gaza war.
A security source said: “They may be downplaying it so that they don’t have repeat attacks or copycat attacks.”…
BS, they are doing what they have done for 8 or 9 years, hiding the dangers of Islamic migrants from the British public as if it were a good thing. It's not! It's insane!

Pro-Palestine demonstrations had been announced again in major cities for Saturday. The security forces were on alert because there had been repeated outbreaks of violence and anti-Semitic slogans in recent days.
► Around 7,000 people gathered at Düsseldorf main station at 2 p.m. who wanted to march along Königsallee towards the state parliament. The police were on site with hundreds and reinforcements from Bavaria.
Unbelievable: One of the speakers openly threatened the CDU mayor Dr. Stephan Keller (53). He should change his course, otherwise the demonstrators would come every Saturday – their children would already make up 30 percent of the students in Düsseldorf. Apparently this meant children of Muslim parents.
No doubt, Mohammed was the most popular name for babies for the past several years. The next generation will be 50% Muslim children, and then Sharia will rear its ugly head in Germany.
And: There were also anti-Semitic incidents! A hate sign read: “Israel is committing genocide.” The poster was quickly thrown away.
The hate poster was held by two women. They quote a 95-year-old Israeli veteran who said these words shortly after Hamas’ barbaric massacre. In fact, there never was a genocide against the Palestinians.
Other participants chanted “Germany is funding, Israel is bombing.” A woman in a leather jacket shouted into the microphone: “Mass murderer Israel! Women murderer Israel! Child murderer Israel!”
How do they say such incredibly stupid things, lies that are true of Palestinians, not Jews?
On her T-shirt the outline of the State of Israel and the Palestinian territories could be seen – but the entire area bore the Palestinian colors. A clear sign that it wants to wipe out the state of Israel and wipe it off the map.
The police are checking whether crimes were committed at the demonstration.
► In Cologne, both pro-Palestinian (approx. 250 people) and pro-Israeli (approx. 20 people) groups demonstrated at the Heumarkt. They stood 300 meters apart, within sight and hearing distance.
The police had to intervene even before the demonstration began. Reason: A woman at the pro-Pestine [sic] event carried a poster that read: “The Holocaust is happening again and the world is watching.” Clear trivialization of the Holocaust!
On the back it said “If you are for Israel, you support genocide.” The police spoke to the woman, took her aside and collected the poster. According to the Cologne police, there is an initial suspicion of trivializing the Holocaust.
Or, is it hoping and encouraging another Holocaust?
