Wolves Among the Sheep > Justin Welby prayed against Israel - now he's gone!

Welby prayed God would turn the world

against Israel and was judged for it

Justin Welby has resigned as the Archbishop of Canterbury. Recently, Welby came out strongly against Israel, denying the Biblical rights of Jews to the land, and many are now asking whether this has brought God’s judgement upon him. It is a lesson that all Christian leaders should learn from.

Jesus told us that the world would hate us just as He was first hated by the world (John 15:18-19). And Paul teaches us that we are not to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:2) but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

As leader of the Church of England his role should have been to challenge the world. To hold the government and authorities in Britain to account according to the teachings of the Bible. Welby was supposed to defend the faith, not transform Christianity to fit the politics of the day.

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.” – Matthew 5:13

The Church cannot be salt and light if it is indistinguishable from the world. It has no value to God. Sadly, Justin Welby was conforming to the ways of the world and rejecting Biblical truth.

At CUFI, we are fully committed to the Godly cause of Israel. We speak of little else. Our supporters have raised several issues they had with other teachings of Justin Welby, but we are not going to cover those topics today. We are only looking at it from his stand on Israel. Ultimately, it seems it was his anti-Israel stance that brought him down.

In August, Archbishop Welby released a statement on the ‘Two-State Solution’ and called for Israel and Jewish removal from all of Judea and Samaria, including East Jerusalem.

These areas rightfully belong to Israel, including the Old City of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives (where Jesus will return) and the Tomb of the Patriarchs to name a few. Welby wanted to remove the Jewish rights to these places and give them to Islamists.

CUFI wrote an article about it which went into seven reasons why the Archbishop’s stance was unbiblical and out of order. You can read that https://www.cufi.org.uk/news/seven-reasons-why-archbishop-welbys-statement-on-israel-is-unbiblical-and-out-of-order”>here.

Ultimately, God warns that Jerusalem will be a heavy stone for all who try to lift it. And that includes Christian leaders.

“And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” – Zechariah 12:3-4

Welby’s statement in August made clear the Archbishop’s stance. He said, “Israel’s presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is unlawful and needs to end as rapidly as possible.” And he wrote this based on biased statements from ungodly global bodies.

Welby forgot that the Bible is the final authority on Israel’s legality. God’s law is infallible. International law is not. The legal text for Israel’s status is written down in the pages of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all their descendants, are the rightful heirs of the land as decreed by God.

Not only did Welby replace God’s word with man’s, but he also encouraged the world to go against God.

“It is imperative that governments around the world reaffirm their unwavering commitment to all decisions by the International Court of Justice, irrespective of the situation,” wrote Welby.

Then Welby wrote his most egregious comment: “I pray that all UN member states respond positively to this Advisory Opinion.”

Not only was Welby urging the world to turn against Israel, Welby said he was praying, talking to God, that He might turn all the nations of the world against Israel.

Think about it for a moment. He was asking the God of Israel who made a promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to turn the world against Israel and the Jews.

How foolish!

God is clear that anyone who tries to remove Jerusalem will be cut into pieces. Likewise, anyone who touches Israel touches the apple of God’s eye (Zecheriah 2:8).

What could possibly lead an Archbishop to have the audacity to demand from God that He rescind His eternal promise, reject the people whom He foreknew, rewrite Scripture, and ask God to turn all nations against the thing God loves? It was far worse than just poking God in the eye, and it wasn’t God leading Welby to make such unbiblical statements.

Three times this year, before this story broke, I have called for Welby's resignation. Each time it appeared that Welby's decisions were not those of a godly man, but those of one who has departed from God.

Is this possible? Martin Luthor once spoke against the Jews, although this may have come shortly after the death of his youngest and favourite daughter.

I know by experience that it is possible to depart from the Lord for a season. I believe Welby will find his way back into fellowship with the Lord, but he definitely needs to step down from his lofty position.

At CUFI, we seek to follow the Lord and obey His commands. We fully believe and accept that God knows what He is doing and compared to Him we know nothing. We do not have the audacity to think we know better than God. We fear the Lord.

Welby learned the hard way that compromising the truths of the Bible is a bad move. He had already lost a lot of respect from the Church for various ways in which he pandered to the world. Now, he’s lost the respect of the world too. And it was all because he tried to please the world rather than God. He lost his flavour, turned against Israel, conformed to the world, and it seems he was judged for it; losing his position and having his legacy cut to pieces.

We will of course be praying for Justin Welby and for his successor. The Church of England needs Godly leaders who will stand up for Biblical truth and be salt and light in this dark and evil world.

Wolves Among the Sheep > Senior Pastor - a liar and a thief, sent to prison in Maryland

Pastor who obtained $3.5M in COVID relief funds, bought Tesla sentenced to prison

By Anugrah Kumar, Christian Post Contributor

Rudolph Brooks, a 48-year-old pastor from Cheltenham, Maryland, has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for fraudulently obtaining over $3.5 million in COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Program loans and using part of these funds to purchase a Tesla.

The sentencing also includes two years of supervised release and mandates the forfeiture of significant assets, including properties in Maryland.

And the Tesla?

Investigations revealed that from April 2020 to September 2021, Brooks, founder and senior pastor of the Kingdom Tabernacle of Restoration Ministries in Washington, D.C., exploited the PPP by submitting falsified documents to obtain loans for businesses under his control, including a car dealership and a ministry, Erek L. Barron, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, said in a statement.

Brooks’ fraudulent activities centered around his businesses, Cars Direct by Gavawn HWD Bob’s Motors, Kingdom Tabernacle of Restoration Ministries, and Madaro, LLC. He inflated employee numbers and payroll expenses on PPP loan applications, securing millions, which he then misused for personal expenses.

Satan is the father of lies, and liars, IMHO.

Notable purchases included a 2018 Tesla Model 3, a property in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and lavish spending on groceries, retail items and restaurant meals.

The CARES Act, under which Brooks committed the fraud, was enacted in March 2020 to provide emergency financial assistance to Americans impacted by the economic downturn caused by COVID-19.

Brooks pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud and money laundering, as per court records from the sentencing Tuesday. As a result, he was ordered by Judge Deborah L. Boardman to forfeit over $2 million, the Tesla vehicle and the real estate purchased with the fraudulently obtained funds.

The case against Brooks involved several federal agencies, including the FBI and the IRS.

Brooks was prosecuted by the District of Maryland Strike Force, one of three nationwide initiatives aimed at combatting pandemic-related fraud.

In an interview with The Impact’s Robin Dorsey on WBGR in 2018, Brooks said he knew he was called by God when he was about 4 or 5 years old. He further noted that he was raised in the church and his father was a minister.

His church’s website describes him as “a man after God’s own heart and has a passion for God’s people.”

“Pastor Brooks desires to see believers grow spiritually and desires to see the church function according to the word of the Lord. His intense love for the Lord, relentless spirit and ability to tap into the very heart of God make him a memorable speaker. With his love for God and lively preaching style, which can hold even the skeptics’ attention, Pastor Brooks speaks and shares the heart of God with compassion and conviction,” the church notes.

Did Brooks write this himself? Liars and thieves have no place in the pulpit of a real Christian church. Where was the gift of discernment in this church? Was no-one listening to God?

Wolves Among the Sheep > Bruxy Cavey's megachurch closed for lack of abuse insurance amid flood of sex misconduct reports

38 reports of sexual misconduct involving 4 pastors

The Meeting House megachurch temporarily shutters

because it can’t get abuse insurance

More than two years after former teaching pastor Bruxy Cavey resigned from one of Canada’s largest megachurches amid allegations of sexual misconduct, The Meeting House has temporarily paused operations because no insurance company wants to cover its abuse liability or employment practices liability insurance.

“The historical incidents and allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse at The Meeting House continue to impact our church today in many ways, including how we are viewed by insurers,” the Toronto area Anabaptist church’s transition board of overseers and network leadership team stated in a recent email to congregants.

They said that even though the church took significant steps to help prevent abuse and better protect staff, volunteers and congregants “over the last few years,” its current insurer still sees the church as a high-risk operation and will not renew its abuse liability and employment practices liability coverage.

“We were recently informed that, effective June 30, our current insurer will not be renewing our Abuse Liability (AL) coverage, or our Employment Practices Liability (EPL) coverage. Our insurer is willing to renew all other types of insurance we require, excluding those two types of coverage,” church officials said.

“Since receiving this news, we have been working as quickly and as thoroughly as possible to source replacement insurance coverage. At this point, we are confident that we have engaged all available insurers in Canada — and some internationally — who work with churches.”

Abuse liability insurance helps protect businesses and organizations when claims are made against their staff or volunteers for the abuse of people in their care, according to insurance broker Foxquilt.

“More specifically, Abuse Liability helps provide coverage for legal costs and the cost of damages. Without this coverage, a claim, and the financial costs around it could even close down your business,” the firm said.

The Meeting House leaders said due to the inability to secure insurance coverage, the ministry will have no in-person meetings for the month of July, which they will use to “continue discerning what form God is inviting us to take into the future as a network of churches, in partnership with our local leadership teams.”

“We know this will be yet another difficult challenge for us to face, and we grieve the need to pause ministry as a church. At the same time, we sense God at work in our midst in powerful ways and have tremendous hope in the process of surrendering and listening to the Spirit’s leading as we discern where He is leading us next,” the ministry leaders said.

An independent investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct commissioned by The Meeting House in December 2021 concluded in March 2022 that Cavey abused his power.

“The investigator determined that Bruxy had maintained a sexual relationship with the victim, an adult woman, in violation of The Meeting House policy and the Handbook of Faith and Life of Be in Christ Church of Canada,” Maggie John, the then chair of the church’s overseers board, said in a statement.

“The investigator also found that what became a sexual relationship between Bruxy and the victim, which lasted over an extended period of time, constituted an abuse of Bruxy’s power and authority as a member of the clergy, and amounted to sexual harassment.”

38 reports of sexual misconduct involving 4 pastors

Cavey was subsequently arrested and charged with sexual assault of a former parishioner. In June of that year, officials at The Meeting House would reveal that at least three more former pastors were involved collectively in at least 38 reports of sexual misconduct.

Neanderthals - Incest, Interbreeding and Possibly Pedophilia

Neanderthals liked to keep it in the family with DNA sequencing of an ancient toe revealing long-term inbreeding amongst a Siberian-based population.

The sequencing results, published today in the journal Nature, also reveal Neanderthals, early modern humans and a sister group to Neanderthals, Denisovans, met and reproduced in the Late Pleistocene between 12,000 and 126,000 years ago.

Alan Cooper, a professor at the Australian Centre for Ancient DNA at the University of Adelaide, says the study "completely rewrites what we know about human evolutionary history". I know it's not just me, but almost every real find in paleontology completely rewrites evolutionary history. That means that evolutionary history, as we know it, has always been wrong. Consequently, there is no good reason for us to believe that they've got it right now; the next discovery will rewrite it again and again.

"We now have a reasonably definitive picture of the mixing and matching of [hominin] groups through time," he says.

And according to Cooper, the research reveals that "everyone is bonking everyone else … it's quite impressive". Impressive is a curious word to use hear, but maybe I don't want to know why he used it.

First author of the paper Kay Prufer, of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany says the findings are based on DNA extracted from a toe bone found in the Siberian cave where the first Denisovan fossils were discovered in 2008.

The toe bone belonged to a Neanderthal woman who they estimate lived about 50,000 years ago, he says, adding that DNA analysis shows the woman's parents were very closely related.

"We conclude the parents of this Neanderthal individual were either half-siblings who had a mother in common, double first cousins, an uncle and a niece, an aunt and a nephew, a grandfather and a granddaughter, or a grandmother and a grandson," the researchers write.

Reason for extinction?

Prufer says the analysis shows this inbreeding was not a rare event.

"The parents were very closely related, but even if you ignore that [DNA analysis shows] … the past parents of the parents were related," he says.

Prufer says the inbreeding suggests the Neanderthal population was quite small or fragmented and this may have played into their demise.

"Of course if you have a small population size you begin to move into the danger zone [for extinction]," says Prufer.

Cooper, who was not involved in the study, agrees: "If you are breeding with your uncle, your population is on the way out. The fact this group has been doing it for a while suggests it was in decline."

Or, maybe they evolved into gays and lesbians. That would bring a quick end to a civilization.

Reconstruction of Denisovan face
Interbreeding across species

As part of the study, the international team also compared genomes of Neanderthals, Denisovans and modern-day humans.

Previous research has shown that while Neanderthals contributed to the genetic heritage of all modern populations outside Africa, Denisovans contributed exclusively to populations in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

However Prufer says the analysis reveals the picture may be more complex.

Their study shows gene flow from Neanderthals to Denisovans indicating interbreeding between the two groups.

The Denisovan DNA also contained genetic material from an "unknown archaic human that lived a million years ago", says Prufer. Oh, yes, I remember him. He was Archie the Archaic! (No, I haven't been drinking!)

He says this "unknown archaic human" could be Homo erectus, but further analysis is needed to determine its origins.

Ancient human relative's DNA puzzles scientists

Prufer says by comparing the genome of the various hominin groups, researchers will also be able to pinpoint the "defining changes" in genome that genetically make modern humans.

Their work suggests the proportion of Neanderthal-derived DNA in all people outside Africa is about 1.5 to 2.5 per cent.

I know some people that definitely have more than 2.5% Neanderthal in them.

Modern day New Guinea man with Denisovan facial characteristics
'Complicated and messy'

Cooper says the findings show evolution works in a "complicated and messy fashion".

"And when you try and reconstruct evolutionary history by looking at modern genetic data you get it completely wrong," he says.

Now that's a startling statement from a scientist. Sounds like a Creationist talking. Is the interpretation of genetic data wrong, or is evolutionary history as we think we know it completely wrong. Well, we have just proven above that evolutionary history has been and undoubtedly still is completely wrong.

While the work is "very convincing" Cooper says it is unlikely to be the final version of evolution. Ya think?

"Five years ago we didn't even know of the existence of the Denisovans," he says.

"It is an incremental process [but] these discoveries are really changing how we think about human evolution."

Cooper says the sequencing of the genomes also opens up the possibility to "identify what bits of Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA survive in us and what they might be doing".

The Attacks in Paris Were Not Carried Out by Radical Muslims According to Whitehouse

It must be tough being Josh Earnest. The President forbids you to use the words Islam or Muslim in relation to any terrorism event, and while you know how ridiculous that is, you have to defend it in front of the world press. Good luck with that Josh.

Presidential Press Secretary
Josh Earnest
Pressed on why the Obama administration doesn’t describe the terror attacks in France as “radical Islam” like the French government does, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Tuesday that it’s about “accuracy.”

NPR reporter Mara Liasson said the French “are calling the ideology, the warped view, by a name,” and pointed out that Earnest wouldn’t do that. “Is there a reason for that?”

“The first is accuracy,” Earnest said. These are individuals who carried out an act of terrorism and they later tried to justify an act of terrorism by invoking Islam and their own deviant view. The second is, this was an act that was condemned by Muslim leaders. We have not chosen to use that label because it does not accurately describe what happened.”

He added, “We are trying to be as specific and accurate as possible". Pfft!

Earlier in the exchange, Earnest had said: “I think the fact that the majority of victims of terrorist attacks carried out by Al Qaeda and adherents and their particular brand of violence, the majority of them are Muslims, I think is a pretty clear indication that this is not a matter of the world being at war with Islam. The world and the United States, as we’ve discussed before, are in the context of ISIL, is at war with these individuals, violent extremists, who carry out these acts of terror and try to justify it by invoking this religion.”

Demonstrators light candles as they gather before a mass unity march in Paris
on Jan. 11, 2015, following the terrorist attacks in France.
Liaison said, “France, your ally in this effort, has put a name on this ideology, which he calls radical Islam. You have bent over backwards to not ever say that. There must be a reason.”

“The reason is twofold. I certainly wouldn’t want to be in a position where I’m repeating the justification that they have cited that I think is completely illegitimate. They have invoked Islam to try to justify their attacks,” Earnest said.

Liaison responded, “So to call it radical Islam, you feel, would be playing into their hands?”

Earnest said, “Well, I think what I’m trying to do is describe to you what happened. These are individuals who are terrorists.” No, I think what you are trying to do is to convince everybody that the emperor really does have clothes.

President Obama's defense of Islam is rapidly approaching the fanatical. He's left his press secretary on soft ice with dull skates - he's not able to go anywhere and the ice below his feet is melting.

To blame the Paris attacks on 'individuals' is to deny that it was a coordinated assault involving several people including Al Qaeda in Yemen. To suggest that they later tried to blame it on Islam is astonishing since they were all dead or missing.

Their own deviant view of Islam is actually shared by hundreds of millions of other 'deviants'. Is that an oxymoron - can you be deviant when hundreds of millions of people agree with you? I don't think so!

The act was condemned by Muslim Leaders - was that unanimous? I don't think so. I don't think it was even close.

The majority of victims are Muslims - who cares? Do you think that helps the hundreds of Yazidi girls being frequently raped by IS? Will it help the several hundred girls kidnapped and made into sexual slaves by Boko Haram? Will it comfort the 10 year old girls who walk in to a market place in Maiduguri and blow themselves up? Or the thousands of Malalas who are denied education by fundamentalist Islam?

That Muslims kill more Muslims than any other ethnic or religious group is: 1) a matter of geography, and 2) a matter of character inherited from their father Ishmael - Genesis 16:11,12 - an angel of the Lord is talking to Hagar:

"Behold, you are with child,
And you will bear a son;
And you shall call his name Ishmael,
Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction.

"He will be a wild donkey of a man,
His hand will be against everyone,
And everyone's hand will be against him;
And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

Pope Said WHAT? A Few Questions for the Pontiff

VATICAN CITY Christians are not made in a laboratory, but in a community called the church, Pope Francis said.

At his weekly general audience Wednesday, Pope Francis continued his series of audience talks about the church, telling an estimated 33,000 people that there is no such thing as "do-it-yourself" Christians or "free agents" when it comes to faith.

Every Christian, he said, can trace his or her faith back to parents, grandparents, teachers or friends. "I always remember the nun who taught me catechism. I know she's in heaven because she was a holy woman," he said. And what was it that made her holy? A personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We cannot be holy otherwise.

In the Old Testament, the pope said, God called Abraham and began to form a people that would become a blessing for the world. "With great patience -- and God has a lot of it -- he prepared the people of the ancient covenant and in Jesus Christ constituted them as a sign and instrument of the union of humanity with God and unity with one another."

Pope Francis described as "dangerous" the temptation to believe that one can have "a personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus Christ without communion with and the mediation of the church."

Obviously, he said, it is not always easy to walk the path of faith with other people. "Sometimes it's tiring. It can happen that a brother or sister creates problems for us or scandalizes us, but the Lord entrusted his message of salvation to human beings, to us, to witnesses," he said.

"It is through our brothers and sisters with their gifts and their limits," the pope said, "that he comes to us and makes himself known. This is what belonging to the church means. Remember: Being Christian means belonging to the church. If your first name is Christian, your last name is Member of the Church."

At the end of his talk, the pope asked people to join him in praying that they would never "give into the temptation of thinking you can do without others, without the church, that you can save yourself, of thinking you can be a laboratory Christian."

Christians, he said, are not manufactured in isolation, but belong to a long line of believers who handed on the faith and challenged one another to live it fully.

Oh, my Lord! Is he saying that if you don't have a heritage of believers, that you cannot be one?

Is he merely trying to state that those who are or would be Christians 'must' belong to a church?

Is he saying that you must belong to the Catholic church?

Is he confusing the Catholic church with the universal church of God - the communion of believers around the world who are united with and in Christ?

No one in the Gospels had a heritage of believers. Does that mean that they could not be saved?

Do I want to be in communion with the thousands of pedophile priests in the Catholic church or the many bishops who enabled them? I don't think so! I'm pretty sure that you cannot call those people Christians. They are flat-out evil!

Are we going to see a new persecution of Protestants? A re-emergence of the Inquisition?

Is he setting us up for the Great Tribulation where the real church of Jesus Christ is virtually annihilated?

As you can see, there are a lot more questions here than answers, but I find his statements to be shocking and frightening.

Franklin Graham Unloads on Obama for His 'Religion of Peace'

Rev. Franklin Graham: Islam isn't a religion of peace

The November edition of Decision magazine, published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), asks, "is Islam really a religion of peace?"

In his article, Franklin Graham, who runs both the BGEA and Samaritan's Purse, gives the answer: no.

President Obama's comment that "Islam teaches peace" was "baffling," writes Graham.

But he was just getting started.  He recounts the prayer vigil held the next day, across from the White House, for the Iranian American pastor who has been held in an Iranian prison for two years.  At the event, Franklin Graham spoke to the president via the media and loudspeakers in Lafayette Park:

“Mr. President—followers of a peaceful religion do not cut off the heads of innocent people in the barbaric fashion (as) the world has watched recently.

“Mr. President—believers in a peaceful religion do not kidnap 300 young schoolgirls as Boko Haram did in northeastern Nigeria in April and reportedly [sell] them to men to be sex slaves.

“Mr. President—men who practice a peaceful religion do not detonate bombs on an American street during a marathon race to kill and maim innocent people.

“Mr. President—no one who belongs to a peaceful religion would even consider hijacking jet airliners and flying them into buildings occupied by thousands of innocent people beginning their workday, as happened in this country and in this city on 9/11.

“Mr. President—no peaceful religion would tolerate, let alone practice, female circumcision, require a woman to have her husband’s permission to leave her home and take up employment, and restrict her ability to receive justice in the case of sex crimes.

“Mr. President—a peaceful religion would not condone and allow a father to drown a daughter in a swimming pool in front of the family in the name of family honor because she might have stayed out late in the evening with her boyfriend.

“Mr. President—why haven’t the 3.5 million Muslims in North America rejected this gross, barbaric and despicable behavior by their fellow Muslims on American soil?”

'We Came to Establish the Laws of God' - Really?

On Saturday, ISIS fighters weighed in on their attempts to take Kobani, arguing it wasn't a fight against the Kurds.

"We came to establish the laws of God — not to fight the Kurds," a fighter in army fatigues said on a video uploaded to YouTube. The video was uploaded by a user who appears to be embedded with the militants in Kobani. It appeared genuine and reflected Associated Press reporting.

But another fighter who appeared to be from a European country, judging from his accent in Arabic, described their aim "to liberate the land from the filth of the apostates, the PKK and others," referring to Kurdish secular fighters — who are overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim — as apostates.

The fighter said the U.S.-led coalition to fight the militant group was a sure sign of the justness of their cause.

"As for the planes that shell us 24 hours, day and night, by God we say: they increase our faith, assuredness and steadfastness. We know we are on the right path because all the (non-believers) of the world have gathered against us."

So, what's wrong with this picture? Absolutely everything! If the whole world is against you, you can be sure of one of two things - either you are completely wrong, or you are Israel.

If your faith increases because more and more of you are being blown to Hell by American bombs, you are utterly insane.

The justness of your cause has nothing to do with the coalition that has formed against you. It has everything to do with your ridiculous belief that you are doing God's will by killing, beheading, raping, and abusing men, women and children. Your biggest enemy, you've apparently claimed are Christians. So, how is it that you are massacring and persecuting the children of the Son of God?

Look it up in the Quran: Jesus was born of a virgin, He performed many miracles, and it will be Him that you stand before in judgement on that great and terrible day. It's all in the Quran. So why persecute He who has the power to throw you into Hell? That's not very smart.

You came 'not to fight the Kurds', bull! You would kill every single person on earth who doesn't convert to your absurd religion.

'We came to establish the laws of God', yet you have no idea what those laws are. You are interpreting Mohammed's writing as God's law, yet his own wife Aisha saw through his veneer. His pronouncements from God very often were convenient for himself - given special permission to have more wives than anyone else, given a word from God telling his son to divorce his young bride so that Mohammed could marry her.

The command to marry his son's wife is most certainly not from God who sees marriage as two becoming one flesh, for life. Even if separated, the two are still one flesh, and so if another marries a woman who had already been married, he is causing her to commit adultery. I'm positive that God did not command the poor bride to be forced into adultery. If you think so, you have no idea Who God is.

The Laws of God
God handed down His laws to Moses and the Hebrews lived under the Mosaic Law for about 1500 hundred years, and guess what - it didn't work! It was never meant to. God knew that fallen man could never live a sinless life according to rules and regulations. The purpose of the law was to prove that men were evil, were predisposed to sin, were incapable of keeping the laws of God. That's why God instituted the sacrificing of animals to cover the sins of men, because even the best of them sinned.

Then 2000 years ago, God sent His Son, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed many great miracles, and, in the end was crucified by the 'religious' people of the day. He allowed Himself to be crucified because He then became the perfect and final sacrifice for all of mankind's sin. To ignore Him is to be stuck in your sins with no possible way out.

Jesus took the Laws of Moses and made them far more difficult. He said stuff like: You have heard it said that a man should not commit adultery, but I say to you, if a man looks upon a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

So how did making the law more difficult to keep help things? Because after Jesus resurrected from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father, He sent His Holy Spirit to enter all those who call Jesus 'Lord'. It is by His Spirit that we can approach a state of sinlessness.

Jesus changed the world from a state of legalism, to a state of grace. It is by His grace that we can be saved from Hell, and it is by faith in Him that we can live a life that is useful to God. It is by His Spirit that we can love one another, even our enemies as Jesus commanded us.

Jesus gave us new laws to live by: feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the shut-ins, look after widows, don't harm the children. I admit, unfortunately, that there are many Christians in the west who ignore those particular scriptures, and it will cost them dearly.

Literally everything your two spokespersons said above is the precise opposite of the truth. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life, no-one can come to the Father but by Me.

Meriam Ibrahim to Campaign for Sudanese Persecuted for their Faith

Mariam Ibrahim, the Sudan woman who escaped a death sentence imposed for renouncing her faith, says she wants to campaign for others who face religious persecution.

You just knew that you hadn't heard the last of this remarkable young woman and rightly so. She considered her time in prison as a test from God, a test she obviously passed. God can accomplish great things through people with faith like hers. It will be interesting to see what they do.
Meriam and Daniel
Speaking to the BBC in the US, where she is seeking asylum, Ms Ibrahim said she hopes to return to Sudan one day.

Ms Ibrahim earlier received an award from a US Christian foundation.

Her sentencing - by a Sudanese court that did not recognise her Christian faith - sparked outrage this year.

Born to a Muslim father, she was raised a Christian by her mother and married a Christian man.

Under Sudan's version of Islamic law, however, her father's religion meant that she too was still technically a Muslim. A court found her guilty of apostasy, or renouncing one's faith.

Sentenced to hang, she gave birth to her daughter while shackled in prison. Under intense international pressure, her conviction was quashed and she was freed in June.

She told the BBC that she had been threatened by the guards while she was in court.

"The judge told me that I needed to convert to Islam," she said. "And so these warnings made me anticipate I would be sentenced to death."

"It wasn't easy, I can't describe it," she said, of her time in prison. "But there are others who are in worse conditions in Sudan than those I was in."

"Sadly, this was all under the guise of the law. So instead of protecting people, the law is harming them."

On Saturday night, Ms Ibrahim received an award from a gathering of evangelical Christian conservatives in Washington, who see her treatment in Sudan as an assault on their values.

I'm not sure what to think of this last phrase (underlined just above). Somehow I feel a little insulted by it, being a conservative Christian. There is no byline on this BBC article, but I think we can assume that it was not written by a conservative Christian.

The term 'an assault on their values' is very curious, and, I think, demeaning. The treatment and near-martyrdom of this courageous young woman had little to do with anyone's values but her own. She is Catholic, which, although Christian, often have very different values than conservative Christians.

In the final analysis, a Christian is a Christian, is a Christian. Those who have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ are Christians; those who do not are not Christians regardless of whether they have been baptized, are members of a Christian church, are 'good' people, Catholic or Protestant. All 'genuine' Christians have remarkably similar values regardless of whether they are Protestant, Evangelical, Catholic or Orthodox.

The thousands of Catholic priests who have sexually abused children were not, and are not, Christians unless God has done a major work in them since. Indeed, I question whether those Bishops and Archbishops who covered-up and enabled the pedophile priests to continue their "Satanic Mass", as Pope Francis called it, are bonafide Christians. They certainly have much to answer for when they stand before Christ.

No, we conservative Christians don't see that Meriam's ordeal was an attack on our values, we see that it as an attack on Jesus Christ and His church. We see it as a Satanic attack! It has nothing to do with values and everything to do with the age-old battle between Good and evil - between Christ and the devil.

Malta Boat Deliberately Sunk 'Leaving 500 Migrants Dead' - What's the Solution?

Maltese authorities have launched naval missions to find and rescue migrants in trouble
About 500 migrants are feared dead after their ship was rammed by another boat near Malta last week, a migration body said.

Two Palestinian survivors told the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) that the boat had been intentionally sunk by traffickers.

They said the boat had left Damietta in Egypt in early September.

The IOM says that more than 2,500 people are now believed to have drowned in the Mediterranean this year.

News of the sinking near Malta emerged as another vessel carrying 250 people sank off the coast of Libya.

Over 200 people are feared to have drowned in that incident. Is it possible they are talking about the same sinking? See map below.

'Violent confrontation'
IOM spokeswoman Christiane Berthiaume said that the two survivors from the Malta sinking were rescued on Thursday, the day after their boat sank.

They said traffickers rammed the boat after a "violent confrontation" on board. The IOM said there were nine known survivors in total.

The boat had been carrying Syrians, Palestinians, Egyptians and Sudanese, the survivors said.

Major migrant boat tragedies:
March 2009: More than 200 African migrants drown after their boat sank off the coast of Libya
October 2013: 366 people, mostly Eritrean, die when their boat catches fire and sinks near Lampedusa
August 2014: Around 170 feared dead after another boat sinks off Libya

The passengers, who included women and children, were reportedly told to move to a smaller, less safe boat. When they refused, the traffickers sank the larger vessel, the eyewitnesses said.

The Maltese authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

The UN says more than 130,000 migrants have arrived in Europe by sea this year, compared with 80,000 last year. Italy has received more than 118,000 migrants, the UN said.

Many attempt to cross from North Africa and the Middle East in unsafe and overcrowded vessels.

The UN's Andrej Mahecic told the BBC that more than half of those arriving by boat were refugees from Syria and Eritrea.

Eritreans and Somalians who attempt the journey to Europe have first the difficult task of crossing the Sahara Desert. Samson Kidane was one such refugee: "I still can't believe it when I think about the Sahara," said Samson Kidane, an Eritrean who is now a refugee in Switzerland.

"It was so difficult to cross. We were more than 30 people in a small automobile, and later we were in a container, more than 120 people for 24 hours."

Eritrea has forced military conscription for an unlimited time period. Everyone must join the military without knowing when, or if, they will be able to get out.

After crossing the Sahara, which cost each man more than $1,000 (£621; 735 euros), he and his friends had to find what he calls a "businessman" to get them across the Mediterranean.

"If you pay the money for the journey, the businessman sometimes disappears with the money," he said.

In the end his trafficker took another $1,200 from each member of the group, and organised five small boats, each carrying around 30 people.

After 53 hours at sea, Mr Kidane arrived in Italy. But only two boats arrived. Three had sunk, one of them carrying his best friend.

Until June of this year, Switzerland accepted avoidance of Eritrea's military service as a valid reason for claiming asylum, and the country now has one of Europe's biggest communities of Eritrean refugees.

But Switzerland, like many European countries, no longer allows applications for asylum to be made at its embassies abroad, meaning that anyone wanting to make a claim must make their way, somehow, to Switzerland.

Human rights groups suggest Europe's asylum policies are a contributory factor to the regular boat tragedies in the Mediterranean.

They are right, of course, but the problem is much more complex than that. European countries (mostly Christian in name, at least, if not in practice) are receiving so many immigrants from Africa and Asia, most of whom are Islamic, that the whole culture of the countries are rapidly changing.

Who would have thought that you would have Muslim spires and the call to prayer ringing out in France or Holland even 50 years ago? France now has between 5 &10% Muslim population. The French heritage population is declining rapidly from lack of births as people choose to have smaller families, or no children at all. Meanwhile, the Muslims average about 8 children per family, consequently they are becoming a larger and larger portion of the population everyday.

Some towns and cities have more Muslims than any other demographic and so are able to elect Muslims to positions in local governments. Many people believe that within 2 generations France will be almost completely Muslim. At that point they can introduce Sharia, if not sooner.

What's happening in France is also happening in most other countries in Europe, though they are a generation or two behind France. While the good news is that most French Muslims don't actually practice their faith, you can be certain that the day will come when an alBaghdadi or Aubakar Shekau will emerge and suddenly they will find their faith, one way or another. Then all will be required to convert to Islam, leave France, or die. Can you imagine France without Frenchmen?

This is why Marine Le Pen is doing so well, because people are actually beginning to understand this. Left-leaning people cannot see it. Sweden just elected a left-wing government, so it's likely they will continue to receive Muslim immigrants for the next four years. At some point in the near future all of Europe will be electing right-wing governments hoping they can clean up the mess that the lefties made of their country, but it will be too late then. I hate to think of what will happen when they try.

So what's the solution? Russia and Germany (I think) require all immigrants to learn Russian, or German. Will that make a difference? Most EU countries have already begun to cut back on immigration, at least a little, but that won't slow the desperate attempts of Africans and Asians trying to get to Europe.

The solution lies in the source of the problems. Many countries in Africa or Asia are so pathetically poor that people are selling their children because they can't afford to feed them, selling them as young as 4 years old to pimps. Why is that happening? Because the countries that have the money to help the economies of these third world countries are spending it on war or entertainment and are completely ignoring the plight of the desperately poor.

Industrialized countries have economically raped the third world and we have the responsibility to help them to recover. But, instead, you have financial pedophiles with their hedge funds driving countries like Argentina into bankruptcy with the help of the US courts.

Multinational companies need to look beyond their short-sighted greed and invest in the third world. It will pay off in the long-term and will help stabilize politically volatile countries. Maybe then  people will want to stay home.
