Ten years ago, on March 22, 2016, three Muslim terrorists blew themselves up in Brussels, two at the airport and one at the main railroad station, killing 32 and wounding 300. It’s a cautionary tale, about which you can find more here:

It has already been ten years, so in case you forgot, on March 22, 2016, ISIS terrorists carried out coordinated suicide bombings at Brussels Airport in Zaventem and Maelbeek metro station, killing 32 people and injuring over 300.
32 dead and 300 injured.
The terrorists’ names: Ibrahim el-Bakraoui, Khalid el-Bakraoui, and Najim Laachraoui.
As the West once again finds itself staring into the abyss-this time in open war against the Islamic Republic of Iran-it is necessary to look back without indulgence. Because what happened then was the poisoned fruit of a civilization that had decided to fund its own executioners, to fight for their release, and ultimately to celebrate them as martyrs.
Israel had warned Belgian officials weeks before the attack about inadequate security measures at Brussels Zaventem airport. The warning came from Israeli officials tasked with evaluating security standards at airports operating flights to Tel Aviv. The Israelis had identified “significant deficiencies” at the airport, which just days later became the site of two deadly ISIS explosions.
A year earlier, Israel had helped London stop a Hezbollah terrorist plot.
But European neutrality-that dogmatic belief in the intrinsic goodness of others-prevailed over the instinct for survival. Only six months later, the Belgians would travel to Israel to take security lessons.
Too late for the 32 murdered and 300 wounded in two attacks in Brussels, the Belgians went to Israel for lessons in security. It is Israel that has been providing information to the Europeans about terrorists on their soil — the same Europeans who have been distancing themselves publicly from the Jewish state, while accepting its aid sub rosa.
These days, Israel’s Mossad is in London helping the British with counterterrorism. A few nights ago, four Jewish Hatzola ambulances were destroyed in London.
One of the airport terrorists, Khalid el Bakraoui, when released from prison in early 2014, two years before the airport attack, received €28,000 in various social welfare benefits from the Belgian system. With that money, Khalid and his brother Ibrahim bought backpacks, nails, and detonators.
Think of that: Khaled el Bakroui was not only released from prison prematurely, but in the next two years he was provided with 28,000 euros in benefits from the Belgian government, money that allowed him to buy what he and his brother needed for their suicide bombings — nails, detonators, backpacks. Should a convicted criminal have received any benefits from the state?
Then there was their cousin, Oussama Atar, the mastermind of the attack.
Raised in Brussels, Atar was arrested in Iraq by Americans in 2005. The Belgian government and NGOs immediately began pressuring for his release, invoking “Islamophobia,” and some NGOs spread the false claim that Atar had cancer (in reality, he was in excellent health). Among those advocating for him was liberal politician Louis Michel-former Belgian minister, deputy prime minister, foreign minister, and European Commissioner for Development, as well as father of Charles Michel, President of the European Council from 2019 to 2024.
The Belgian government pushed for the terrorist’s release despite warnings from American and French intelligence services, which considered Atar extremely dangerous….
Why did high officials in the Belgian government join those leftist NGOs in pressing for the Americans to release Oussama Atar? Was it really “Islamophobia” that caused him to be arrested in the first place as some of those officials apparently claimed? Or did the Americans find him aiding and abetting attacks on their forces in Iraq? And what Belgian official was so intent on obtaining his freedom that he falsely claimed that Atar had cancer? What sickness is it in the Western world that has so many officials in one country pressing for the release of Muslims held by another? And why were the warnings from both American and French intelligence services that Atar was “extremely dangerous” ignored? Why have none of those Belgian officials responsible for getting Oussama Atar freed, so that he could then mastermind the terrorist attack in March 2016, been publicly shamed for their scandalous intervention?
Atar was released, returned to Belgium, and masterminded the killing of 32 “infidels.”
In Copenhagen, two artists lost no time in planning to stage the deeds of the brothers Ibrahim and Khaled el Bakraoui, who detonated their explosive belts at the Brussels airport check-in. Among the terrorist accessories on display was a replica of Ibrahim el Bakraoui’s leather glove, used to conceal the bomb detonator. The exhibition was inspired by Tehran’s “Museum of Martyrs,” and the suicide bombers were presented alongside historical figures who died for their cause, such as Joan of Arc and Socrates.
These Danish “artists” celebrating mass murderers should have had their ghastly exhibit shut down, and they themselves charged with making light of, or even encouraging, terrorism. Instead, they proudly showed, among other items, a replica of the leather glove in which one of the terrorists had hidden a detonator. The three suicide bombers were presented as “martyrs,” alongside others who died not as murderers but as real martyrs to their cause, including Joan of Arc and Socrates. Such a display is one more bit of evidence of a sickness in the soul of the West, the same sickness that infects those idiots screaming on campuses about “death to the IDF” and “globalize the Intifada” and “stop the genocide.”
The Brussels terrorism attack in 2016 is a cautionary tale of how the democracies of the West, the victims of Muslim terrorists, have taken a long time to wake up to the dangers of Islam. The Belgian officials who helped to spring Muslim killers from American detention in Iraq, who ignored warnings from American and French intelligence officials about Oussama Atar, the man who became the mastermind of that Brussels attack, whom those officials described as “extremely dangerous,” the Belgian government that supplied the terrorists with funds that provided them with the wherewithal to carry out their murderous attacks — even now, ten years after the suicide bombings in Brussels, everyone in Belgium officialdom who so carelessly aided and abetted the terrorists who killed 32 innocents, should be held up for public condemnation and contempt.
Nigeria: Muslims murder 23 people and wound 108 in three jihad suicide bombings
The bombers were likely happy to ensure their place in paradise: “Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth, because the garden will be theirs, they will fight in the way of Allah and will kill and be killed. It is a promise that is binding on him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. Who fulfills his covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that you have made, for that is the supreme triumph.” (Qur’an 9:111)
23 killed, 108 wounded in suspected suicide bombings in northeast Nigeria

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria (AP) — Three suspected suicide bombings have killed at least 23 people and wounded 108 others in northeastern Nigeria, police said Tuesday. It was one of the deadliest attacks targeting the city of Maiduguri in recent history.
Residents and emergency services earlier told The Associated Press that the explosions were reported on Monday night in crowded places in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, including at a major market and the entrance of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
The wounded “sustained varying degrees of injuries,” Borno police spokesperson Nahum Kenneth Daso said in a statement, which blamed the attacks on suspected suicide bombers.
President Bola Tinubu, who left the country on Tuesday for a two-day state visit to the United Kingdom, expressed his condolences for the victims and directed security chiefs to “take charge of the situation” in Maiduguri.
“The Monday attacks were desperate acts of the evil-minded terrorist groups,” Tinubu said. “Our gallant military and civilian task forces will curtail and put them down.”
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but suspicion quickly fell on the Boko Haram jihadi group, which in 2009 launched an insurgency in northeastern Nigeria to enforce their radical interpretation of Shariah, or Islamic law.
Boko Haram has since become stronger, with thousands of fighters and different factions, including the Islamic State West Africa Province, which is backed by the Islamic State group….
