Hamas War > Plans for Hamas attack on Judea and Samaria discovered; "Allah made Jews for Muslims to eliminate"; Are attitudes finally changing in Gaza

IDF discovers Hamas plans for mass jihad attack in Judea, Samaria and central Israel

In mid-February, an Israeli brigadier general warned that released jihadi prisoners would wage jihad and build militias in Judea and Samaria. Jihadists never stop.

Meanwhile, Hamas says that it’s “ready to negotiate the the next phase of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, after a swap” in which it handed over “the remains of four hostages in exchange for the release of more than 600 Palestinian detainees held by Israel.” That’s 600 zealous jihadists released and ready to attack. No wonder they’re eager to negotiate. They kill Israelis, release their bodies, and received in return hundreds more terrorists they can deploy to kill more Israelis.

Israel cannot possibly afford to allow any jihadist threats to proliferate in Judea and Samaria, in Gaza, or at its border with Syria, despite global antisemites calling Israel an “occupying” force.

IDF seizes Hamas plans for mass attack in Judea, Samaria and central Israel

by Akiva Van Koningsveld, JNS, February 27, 2025:

Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed on Thursday that security forces recently discovered Hamas files proving the terrorist group had plans to carry out a large-scale assault on communities in Judea and Samaria and along the Seam Line security barrier.

“Hamas files have been seized that had a purpose of attacking towns in Judea and Samaria and along the Seam Line,” Katz said in remarks to heads of regional councils, Israel Hayom reported.

“The communities in Judea and Samaria are the protective wall of most of the State of Israel,” the defense minister declared. “When Judea and Samaria are protected, the large cities are protected. We must be on the offensive in Judea and defeat the enemy.”

The Yesha Council umbrella group that represents the approximately 500,000 Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria said in a response: “The Oct. 7, [2023], terror attack must not be repeated—nor in the Seam Line towns, nor in the cities of the Sharon [coastal plain], nor in Judea and Samaria.

“The way to prevent this is a clear defeat of terrorism—not only through targeted operations, but in a comprehensive move that will neutralize the threat to the cities of the Center and Judea and Samaria,” it added.

Tulkarem, a Palestinian terrorist hub in Samaria, east of Netanya, where Israeli forces have been conducting intensive counter-terrorism operations since last month, is located eight miles from the densely populated coastal plain.

Jerusalem stepped up raids after explosives were discovered on five buses in the cities of Bat Yam and Holon, south of Tel Aviv, on Feb. 20, which authorities called “an attempt to perpetrate a series of terrorist attacks with mass casualties. One of the bombs bore an Arabic message referencing Tulkarem. No one was injured….

Muslim woman: Allah ‘created the Jews to make sure that we would obey his word by eliminating them all’

This woman apparently doesn't realize that she is preaching genocide, a crime against humanity.

“Kill them wherever you find them…” (Qur’an 2:191, 4:89, cf. 9:5)

“Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying: ‘The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.’” (Sahih Muslim 2922)

Only 6 percent of Gazans want Hamas to remain in power, majority credits Trump for ceasefire

By Vered Weiss, World Israel News

A poll of Gazans found that only 6% believe Hamas should continue to rule the Gaza Strip, while 67.9% gave US President Donald Trump credit for the ceasefire.

The poll, conducted by the Palestinian Institute for Social and Economic Progress (ISEP) on January 22, surveyed 400 people over the age of 15 who had lived in various locations in Gaza before the start of the current war.

About 70% of those polled said they didn’t think Hamas was in control of the situation, though it was unclear whether “the situation” referred to governing Gaza or managing the war.

Just 5.3% of Gazans said they would vote for Hamas in the next election, and support for the Fatah party increased by 12 percentage points.

Half of those polled said they looked forward to Gaza being rebuilt in better condition than it was before. This was before Trump proposed that the US take over and rebuild Gaza.

Two-thirds of Gazans felt that the issue of humanitarian aid not reaching them was serious, and 44% said Hamas was solely responsible for this problem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu backed a plan proposed by Donald Trump that would resettle Gazan civilians, allowing for the rebuilding of the Gaza Strip.

Trump’s proposal to resettle the entire population of the Gaza Strip in third-party countries, Netanyahu said, is a “bold new vision and the only plan that I think can work.”

Defending Trump’s plan against accusations of ethnic cleansing, Netanyahu argued that most Gazans want to leave the Gaza Strip.

“Why not give Gazans a choice? Everybody said this is the largest open-air prison in the world. Not because of us. We let people leave.”

“In fact, if you want to know, over the last couple of years—two years, I think—150,000 Gazans left. You know how they left? Because they bribed their way out, not through us. They bribed their way out.”

Terrorism #1 Concern of Germans, ‘One of Highest’ Results Ever – Poll

The New Normal - Germany

Over 70 percent of respondents in a poll conducted in Germany say their prime concern is terrorism. The findings come as Europe reels from a string of violent attacks for which the the Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility in most cases.

“The fear of terrorist attacks is by far the number one concern, reaching with over 70 percent, one of the highest ever recorded in the long-term study,” Brigitte Romstedt, head of R+V Infocenter which carried out the study said.

Germany endured several terrorist attacks last year, including the deadly Christmas market assault, when a Tunisian asylum seeker, who pledged allegiance to Islamic State, plowed a truck into a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people. In July, a Syrian refugee detonated an explosive device outside a music festival in the town of Ansbach, killing himself and injuring 12 others.

In another July 2016 incident, a 17-year-old Afghan refugee attacked train passengers in central Germany, leaving five people injured. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for all the attacks.

According to R+V Infocenter researchers which interviewed 2,380 people in June and July, the fear of terrorism has surpassed the threat of "political extremism," 62 percent. Possible tensions caused by the influx of migrants has 61 percent of Germans apprehensive.

The European debt crisis gave cause for concern to some 58 percent of Germans, with 50 percent of respondents being anxious over the growing cost of living. Natural disasters proved to be a major concern for 56 percent, a four percent rise compared to 2016.

However, another survey carried out in Germany in August showed that most Germans perceive climate change as a greater cause for concern than terrorism. Yet, it was still high on the list of concerns, with the massive migrant influx and subsequent refugee crisis placed further behind.

Both polls that showed German's anxiety about terrorism, were conducted before the recent deadly vehicle ramming and knife attacks in Catalonia, Spain. On August 17, a man plowed a van through a crowd in Barcelona, killing 13 people and injuring over 100 others. The next day, a ramming and stabbing attack took place in the nearby coastal town of Cambrils, with one person being killed and five others wounded. Both attacks were claimed by IS.

In late August, the US extended a European travel alert for its citizens, warning that terrorists continue to focus on tourist sites as attacks increase on the continent.

Although the 'Europe travel alert,' in place until the end of November, does not mention Germany among the "widely reported incidents" of terrorist attacks, the US State Department did warn its citizens that terrorist groups such as IS and al-Qaeda "have the ability to plan and execute terrorist attacks in Europe."

Most French Think ‘Too Many Foreigners,’ say ‘They Don’t Feel at Home’ Anymore – Poll

According to an Ipsos survey, commissioned and published by Le Monde, 65 percent of French people believe that there are “too many foreigners” in France, while 60 percent say that they “don’t feel at home as they did before.”

Also, over 60 percent said that migrants “in France do not make the effort to integrate,” and 46 percent believe that integration isn’t a complicated process.

The percentages vary depending on the political views of the respondents, with 95 percent of far-right National Front supporters saying that there are too many foreigners in France. The figure for Republicans is 83 percent (up seven percent since last year), while the left-leaning Socialists’ figure is 46 percent.

Similarly, social divisions remain clear; 77 percent of laborers think that there are too many foreigners in France, compared with 46 percent of managers.

Islam also remains a hot topic for the French. Another Ipsos annual survey, ‘French Fractures 2017,’ indicated that 60 percent of the respondents believe Islam is incompatible “with the values of the French Republic.”

In another question, an overwhelming 78 percent of the French regard Islam as a religion “seeking to impose its way of life on others.”

About 46 percent said that “even if it is not its main message, Islam still contains within it the seeds of violence and intolerance.” The figure is five percent up from the previous year.

The surveys were conducted amid a state of high alert, following two years of jihadist attacks. In November 2015, 130 people were killed in Paris; in July 2016, 86 people died in a truck attack in Nice.

France has been engulfed by disputes over Islam – one particularly hot topic being burkinis, an Islamic piece of beachwear.

Last summer, it was forbidden for a while to swim in burkinis on French beaches, though the Supreme Court ruled the measure unconstitutional in August. This year, the row has been renewed. A few days ago, the mayor of Lorette in central France banned the full-body swimsuit from a new leisure park, despite a high court ruling the bans illegal last year. Also, an activist tried to arrange a burkini beach party during the Cannes Film Festival, and the city administration pulled the plug on the plan.

Ontario Premier Wynne's Approval Rating an Astonishing 12%

Hydro rates shock Ontario Premier
Kathleen Wynne’s approval rating
SHAWN MCCARTHY
OTTAWA — The Globe and Mail

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne has seen a historic slump in her job-approval ratings as Ontarians continue to fret over increased hydro bills and the sale of the Hydro One utility, says new polling by the Angus Reid Institute released Friday.

With a 2018 election looming, the provincial Liberal Premier has the endorsement of only 12 per cent of voters, down from a 41-per-cent approval rating just 18 months ago, the Angus Reid Institute survey revealed.

It was 18 months ago that Wynne brought her far-left ideology into schools in Ontario. Her sex education program, probably written in part by her then Deputy Education Minister who is now in prison for child pornography. The program focused on LGBTQ2S rights and projecting homosexuality and transgenderism as normal and healthy, and ignored the real problem of child sex abuse.

That her slide in popularity began then was not reported by MSM outlets, nor was there any mention of the school sex education program. It is not an issue for MSM as they all agree with the far-left agenda.

The institute’s executive director, Shachi Kurl, said Ms. Wynne has sunk to depths almost never seen among provincial premiers in recent history, with only former British Columbia premier Gordon Campbell dropping below 10 per cent before he resigned in November, 2010.

“There is no way to sugar-coat this, it’s not a good situation for the Premier,” Ms. Kurl said. “But clearly, based on what we’re seeing and hearing, there may be some continuing belief that the Premier herself, or the party can turn things around” before an election that is scheduled for June, 2018.

In surveying premiers’ approval ratings, the Angus Reid Institute polled 5,404 Canadians, including 804 Ontario residents. The survey was conducted between March 6 and March 13, just after Ms. Wynne’s government announced it would reduce hydro rates by an average of 25 per cent for households, and more for people in rural areas and small towns that were hardest hit by rate hikes over the past decade.

“I would suggest people really hadn’t had the opportunity to absorb whether or not they feel this is something that will credibly give them some relief, and whether or not it is enough at this stage,” Ms. Kurl said.

“You can reach a point with the electorate where a level of cynicism or a level of hardening sets in and no matter what is done, there’s no turning things around.”

Most premiers saw a decline in their approval ratings this month compared with last December.

Saskatchewan’s Brad Wall – who continues to rank as the country’s most popular premier – saw his support drop to 52 per cent from a recent high of 66 per cent last May. British Columbia’s Christy Clark – who faces an election in May – had an approval rating of just 31 per cent, down 4 percentage points from December amid revelations of her Liberal Party’s controversial fundraising tactics.

But none are even approaching Ms. Wynne’s 12 per cent. And Ms. Kurl suggests voters’ anger over soaring hydro rates is a big factor. Average residential rates have doubled in the past decade, and risen ever further in less-densely-populated and remote regions.

Three-quarters of Ontario respondents (74 per cent) describe their household energy bills as “unreasonable” and a similar number expect the Hydro One sale to increase their rates even further. (Hydro One is the province’s main transmission utility that also directly serves households in rural Ontario.)

Indeed, 27 per cent of respondents identified “energy/electricity” as the largest problem facing the province, with “the economy” a distant second at 16 per cent. And more than three-quarters of respondents said their household electricity bills and the sale of Hydro One would be important or somewhat important issues for them when they vote in the 2018 provincial election.

However, 62 per cent said they would factor in the Wynne government’s plan to reduce hydro bills when they go to the polls in the general election.
