Islam Hates Christianity > Islam can't withstand competition, so it attempts to kill any threat

Somalia: Muslim converts to Christianity,

survives knife attack by his Muslim relatives

loses family

The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

Christian Convert in Somalia Wounded, Loses Family

Morning Star News, May 27, 2024:

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – A Muslim in Somalia was seriously wounded for putting his faith in Christ this month and lost his wife and five children, sources said.

Mohammad Abdul, 40, survived a knife attack by his Muslim relatives on the outskirts of Kismayo, a port city in southern Somalia’s Lower Juba region, on May 5 after converting to Chritianity on March 20. The relatives took his wife and children while he was recovering at a medical clinic, said a source whose name is withheld for security reasons.

“While Abdul was nursing injuries, the Muslims went back to his house and started destroying his house, and the wife and the five children went back with their people,” said the source. “His wife has told him that the Muslims are looking for him, and that therefore he should not go back to them.”

Abdul suffered a deep cut on his head and a fractured hand in the attack. Fearing for his life, he has moved to another city in Somalia, the source said.

After coming to Christ when a Somali pastor residing outside of Somalia visited him with the gospel in March, Abdul began praying and studying the Bible with his family and the Christian leader every evening, the pastor said. When Abdul’s youngest child, 5, mentioned the meetings to a neighbor, his wife suggested the visiting pastor leave for his own safety.

After leaving on April 11, the pastor heard from Abdul that the Muslim relatives were sending him threatening text messages, he said.

“We are now aware that every evening you are praying in the name of Issa [Jesus] as well as reading a corrupted book and not reading the Quran, the holy book sent to Muhammad from Allah,” read one of the text messages, according to the pastor. “If you do not stop this bad way of conducting religious activities, then you risk your life.”

As his wife became more fearful of relatives and withdrew from Christian prayers, Abdul continued alone, he said.

“Two of my children continued sharing with other children the kind of prayers I was making,” Abdul told Morning Star News. “On May 2, my younger son arrived crying that he was beaten by some boys after telling them about my reading the Bible and praying.”

On the evening of May 5 at about 7:30 p.m., the Muslim relatives arrived at his house, he said.

“They were shouting and yelling that they were looking for my head,” Abdul told Morning Star News. “The attackers forcibly entered the house and started questioning me for forsaking Islam and joining a bad religion. My wife and children looked shaken.”

One of his relatives struck him with a sharp knife, he said….

French security authorities foil plan to attack

football events during Paris Olympics

France's security authorities have foiled a plan to attack soccer events during the Paris Olympics, the country's interior minister said Friday.

Gerald Darmanin said in a statement that members of the General Directorate of Internal Security arrested an 18-year-old man from Chechnya on May 22 on suspicion of being behind a plan to attack soccer events that will be held in the southern city of Saint-Etienne.

According to the initial investigation, the man was preparing an attack targeting the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in Saint-Etienne that will host several soccer matches during the Summer Games. The planned attack was to target spectators and police forces, the statement said. The suspect wanted to attack the Olympic events “to die and become a martyr," the statement also said.

The Paris Olympics will run from July 26-Aug. 11. Soccer matches will take place in cities across France before the final in Paris’ Stade de France.

France is on high security alert ahead of the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, which are expected to draw millions of visitors to the country.

Darmanin, the interior minister, did not cite a specific security threat against the soccer event, but said there are multiple potential threats, including those from Islamic extremist groups, violent environmental activists, far-right groups and cyberattacks from Russia or other adversaries.

Security concerns are notably high for the the exceptional opening ceremony, which bring more than 100 world leaders to the French capital. It involves boats carrying athletes along the River Seine on a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) parade and huge crowds watching from the embankments.

In April, French President Emmanuel Macron said the July 26 opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics planned on the River Seine could be moved instead to the country’s national stadium if the security threat is deemed too high.

Macron said France’s law enforcement forces will be mobilized at an exceptional level for the security of the open-air event, "but if we think there are risks, depending on our analysis of the context, we have fallback scenarios.”

Organizers had originally planned a grandiose opening ceremony for as many as 600,000 people, most watching free of charge from riverbanks. But security and logistical concerns have led the government to progressively scale back its ambitions. Earlier this year, the overall number of spectators was reduced to around 300,000.

The French government also decided that tourists won’t be given free access to watch the opening ceremony because of security concerns. Free access will be invitation-only instead.

European Politics > Maréchal trying to save France from Islamic and Far-Left madness - French Media doesn't like it

France24 is a great news resource except for the fact that it is far-left in its political position. This is obvious by the subtle hostility to Maréchal in this piece. France24's inability to see the consequences of the Islamification of France is stupid to the point of traitorous.

Le Pen legacy: Marion Maréchal battles the woke agenda, 'Islamification', in European elections

France’s Marion Maréchal has made the “defence” of European civilisation and fighting against the “Islamification” of Europe a cornerstone of her platform as she leads the far-right Reconquest party’s candidate list in the European elections. Maréchal is the granddaughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen, who founded the far-right National Front, and the niece of Marine Le Pen, who leads the National Rally party, as the National Front was rebranded in 2018.

In the run-up to the June 6-9 elections for the European Parliament, national tragedies and dramatic crimes have provided opportunities to send a political message.

A day after two officers were killed in an armed attack on a prison van that helped drug kingpin Mohamed Amra escape, Marion Maréchal went to the Bordeaux-Gradignan prison facility, a visit she recorded on social media.

Maréchal was seen chatting with officers at this notoriously overcrowded prison that houses twice the number of inmates it is designed for. Photos were quickly posted on X, Facebook and Instagram. They show the candidate listening to prison officers and denouncing a “failure of the state”.

The move was viewed as genuine empathy by Maréchal’s supporters, and political expediency by her opponents: Maréchal has been on the lookout for troubling incidents during the electoral campaign and has even taken the time to honour the anniversaries of past tragedies, whether in France or elsewhere in Europe.

Crimes involving foreign-born suspects are a feature of her social media posts, from the March 22 attack on a concert hall in Moscow claimed by the Islamic State group to the 20th anniversary of the Madrid train bombings in March 2004.

Maréchal has used these tragic events to play the law-and-order card, all the while emphasising the foreign nationality of the assailants.

It is not a new strategy, but one that still resonates with right-wing and far-right voters who see immigration as a key cause of French and European ills.

“France is becoming a narco-state. I urgently call for exceptional anti-mafia laws to punish these criminals, eradicate trafficking and stop immigration," Maréchal wrote on X after the prison van escape in Normandy.

‘Fighting Islamification’, a European cause

Maréchal has promised to strengthen borders to prevent migration and wants to enshrine “Europe's Greek, Latin and Christian roots” in EU treaties.

She feeds the narrative of a “clash of civilisations” and buys into the “great replacement” conspiracy theory.

As a candidate she has also embarked on a tour of France and Europe speaking out on “Islamification”.

She has spoken out against the Ramadan decorations installed by the mayor of the German city of Frankfurt, the presence of what she called a “noxious Koranic school with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood” in Château-Chinon, and has accused certain elected representatives of French conservative party Les Républicains of being “Islamo-rightist”.

“We are the only ones to make the defence of our civilisation the cornerstone of our programme,” Maréchal said at a May 13 press conference, vowing to “fight Islamification” as part of a “common European cause”.

Banning ‘the promotion of woke ideology’

The Reconquest party has the support of between 6 percent and 8 percent of voters, according to polls. Founded in late 2021 by far-right pundit Éric Zemmour, the party has proposed installing a “triple border” to protect Europe from immigration and “the end of free movement for non-Europeans”.

The party wants “a naval military blockade in the Mediterranean” and a “border beyond our borders, through cooperation agreements with Mediterranean countries” to combat immigration from, notably, north African nations.

But the Reconquest platform also wants to protect France from the European Union. It rejects anything that could lead to a European “federal state”: no common European debt issuance, no European taxes, no European army. And among the key proposals is the abolition of the European Commission, the EU’s executive branch.

“[EU Commission President] Ursula von der Leyen will never be our leader; she is our employee and must remain so,” insisted Zemmour, a former presidential candidate, in presenting his party’s programme on May 13.

He castigated those “masters of Europe” who are guilty, in his view, of wanting to “centralise all power in Brussels”.

Despite the anti-EU rhetoric, Zemmour and Maréchal are in favour of cooperation between European states, and intend to join forces with the European Conservatives and Reformists group to move the European Parliament clearly to the right.

Their civilisational battle is also being waged on the societal front: Maréchal has promised to ban “the promotion of woke ideology” in Europe and to cut all funding to what she called “militant LGBT associations”.
