Chinese House Church Pastor Tried for Leaking State Secrets

(Guiyang, Guizhou) A pastor of a now-closed house church in the capital of China’s inland Guizhou province was found guilty of “intentionally disclosing state secrets” at a trial on April 26, but the announcement of the verdict was delayed.

Su Tianfu, one of the pastors of Huoshi Church, was tried by the 12th Court of Nanming District, Guiyang, at 9:30 a.m on April 26. Su and his two defense attorneys, Xiao Yunyang and Zhang Peihong, attended the court session, but the trial was not made public and therefore was not audited. The trial lasted two hours.

According to the indictment, Su forwarded a text to a group called “The 3rd Group Chat of Huoshi Church” on WeChat, a Chinese messaging service, on Dec. 8, 2015. The text contained two pictures, which the Guizhou Provincial National Security Bureau stated contained state secrets.

“I simply forwarded a prayer letter on WeChat,” Su said, proclaiming his innocence. “According to the government, that letter contained state secrets. From a legal point of view, though, I did not ‘intentionally’ leak the state secrets. The lawyers will judge if the texts and images really contained state secrets. I will not deny the things I did, but it’s up to the lawyers to decide if they were illegal or not.”

Church sold-off by government

Huoshi Church was the largest house church in Guiyang, with more than 500 members before it was forcibly closed. The government fined the church more than 7 million yuan ($1.1 million USD), claiming that all of the donations taken over the six years of its operations were “illegal income.” Because of this, the church building and all of its property was repossessed by the government and auctioned off for 5.42 million yuan ($850,000 USD).

ChinaAid reports on persecution, such as the false charges against Pastor Su Tianfu and the shut down of Huoshi Church, in order to expose abuses by the Chinese government in order to promote religious freedom, human rights, and rule of law.

This spring's Ontario Conservative Party leadership campaign included a real conservative breath-of-fresh-air named Tanya Granic Allen. Probably the most intelligent of all the leadership hopefuls, she was too conservative to ever win. But now, the eventual winner of that campaign, Doug Ford, brother of the infamous Rob Ford, mayor of Toronto from 2010-2014, has signaled that Granic Allen will not be permitted to run for MLA in Ontario. Her views are too conservative for the Conservative Party.

Specifically, some years ago she compared Islamic veils to masks, and she made a comment which was slammed by oversensitive people as homophobic - the most overused word of more than one syllable in the English language. Islamophobic may be the 2nd most overused word of more than one syllable, and she has been called that as well.

Her Islamophobic accusations stem from comments made some years ago including:

"I don't believe people should dress like ninjas when going for an afternoon stroll. I don't believe that people should dress like bank robbers when going to vote," she said. "My daughter loves wearing a spider-man mask, but I forbid her from wearing it out in public."

In another case, she linked to a news story about an attack on two teenage girls in Zanzibar, calling it "yet another reason not to vacation in a Muslim country."

She also denied that a tweet in which she wished the Queen would not allow gay marriage meant she opposed the practice. "Somebody wrote that gay marriage would force the Queen to break her oath and I simply said, 'Well the Queen should keep her oath,' because we should not lie," she said.

Another tweet where Granic Allen expressed shock that Malta had passed a law allowing gay marriage and adoption "wasn't anything pro or con," she said, simply an observation on how quickly the country had acted on the issue.

Granic Allen would not, however, clarify whether she supports gay marriage, saying it is a federal issue. "It has nothing to do with this election and I don't need to comment on that," she said.

So, anyone who doesn't support gay marriage is qualified a homophobe by the horrified media. Consequently, any admission as such is political suicide. The Canadian media leans so far to the left that they think anyone who leans a little to the right is completely up-side-down. Their perspective is that skewed.

It was well into my lifetime that the idea of gay marriage would have been horrifying to anyone in the media. In fact, throughout the entire history of mankind the idea would have horrified normal people. Yet today, in barely one generation, the Canadian media is completely unanimous and condemning anyone who disagrees with gay marriage.

Politicians, even Conservative politicians are so frightened of media criticism that they bite their tongues and forbid others to say anything that sounds remotely socially conservative. Or, to be more specific - anything that sounds remotely Christian.

Canada's Main Stream Media (MSM) is not just far-left ideologically, they are, like most far-left ideologues - antiChristian. They are not intentionally antiChristian; they just oppose anything that Christians might believe that might suggest that God will hold us accountable for the evil that we do. And one of the most evil things that we do is to ignore what God said.

In ignoring the Bible, or even in just believing parts of it that fit your morality, you are rejecting Who God is and Who His Son is and the astonishing thing He accomplished by dying on the cross. This is easy for them to do because they don't actually believe God is real or that Jesus Christ is real and the Son of God. They don't reject God or His Son based on research, indeed, 99% of them have never spent 5 minutes researching whether or not God is real. This will cost them dearly when they stand before Him.

There is only one reason why we are on this earth and that is to prepare for Eternity, and we do that by getting to know God both intellectually and experientially.

The media's drift to the far-left has made the likes of Justin Trudeau possible, and the media darling is never questioned about his extreme ideology, and rarely questioned about anything that matters. His requirement for Christians to agree with the principal of abortion in order to obtain funds for co-op positions this summer is a direct attack on Christians that has barely been mentioned by media outlets. And when it is mentioned, it is never in a way that reveals the darkness that hides in the soul of Justin Trudeau.

Canada is lost! There will be no turning back to a moral society. Justin's father Pierre fatally wounded that ideal, and Justin is finishing it off.

Hundreds of dead newborn girls have been found dumped in garbage piles in Pakistan over the last year amid a cultural preference for boys, it has emerged.

A total of 345 babies have been found dead in refuse heaps in Karachi, Pakistan's most populous city, since the beginning of 2017 with 99 per cent of them found to be girls, according to local reports.

In one horrifying case, a four-day-old was found dead with her throat slit. Another newborn was left on the steps of a mosque only to be stoned to death when a cleric assumed it was an 'illegitimate baby', a charity reported.

According to The News International, activists from the Chhipa Welfare Foundation said it had come across 93 such cases in Karachi with 70 in 2017 and 23 this year.

Child infanticide is a criminal offence in Pakistan and police say poverty and illiteracy are root causes, the report says.

However, Anwar Kazmi, from Karachi's Edhi Center charity, said the majority of cases of infanticide were the result of births out of wedlock.

He said girls born in this situation were being killed because of social stigma with boys more often protected by families.

He said: 'We have been dealing with such cases for years and there are a few such incidents which shook our souls as much. It left us wondering whether our society is heading back to primitive age.'

Indeed, or if it ever emerged from primitive society. A society based on a brutal legalism invented in the 7th century has little hope of ever getting past that.

The News also points to an Oxford Institute of Population Ageing study that highlighted 'son preference' in Pakistan and said the country needed to address 'inequitable gender norms that uphold the perception that sons are more valuable than daughters'.

A police official is quoted as saying that they can only properly investigate the causes of such deaths once a complaint has been registered.

Last year, the official said, only one case of infanticide was reported to Karachi Police.

Which means that it is an acceptable way of disposing of unwanted children. The western world is much more civilized - we murder our children before they are born.

Spanish Basque Separatist Group ETA Dissolves After 54 Years

UPI -- The Spanish Basque separatist group ETA said it's dissolving after more than a half-century, during which more than 800 people died amid its campaign.

ETA, considered a terrorist organization by the European Union, sent letters to organizations in Spain's northeastern Basque region last month.

The letters, meant to show the group's decision is "definite and conclusive," said ETA will dissolve all structures and "has terminated its political initiatives." The declaration acknowledges the formal end of its mission.

A formal dissolution ceremony in the French town of Cambo-les-Bains is scheduled for this weekend.

The group's name is an acronym of "Euskadi Ta Askatasuna," or "Basque Homeland and Liberty" in the Basque language.

In its 54-year campaign for an independent Basque republic, ETA was responsible for the deaths of 853 people in the Basque Autonomous Community and the nearby Chartered Community of Navarre. Hundreds more disappeared or were injured.

Last month, the group apologized for its past violence, saying it accepts "direct responsibility" for years of bloodshed -- and asked for forgiveness for the deaths of people without "a direct participation in the conflict."

Nearly half the deaths attributed to ETA have not been fully investigated, and many Basques feel there remain issues to be resolved before peace can be established.

A report by the regional government last year noted 4,000 documented cases of torture by ETA security forces between 1960 and 2014. Only 20 cases resulted in court sentences.

The letters said the Basque community now faces "a new opportunity to definitively close the cycle of conflict and build a future between us all."

While ETA's attempt to create a sovereign Basque state was ineffective, the Basque region has more autonomy today than any of Spain's 17 regions -- with its own police force, education system, language and financial relationship with the federal government. The special powers were granted by Spain to the region in a new constitution in 1978.

The BBC and other mainstream media outlets have been slammed by a leading British journalist, who claims all they do is peddle the government’s “fake” narrative.

Speaking to RT’s Bill Dod, radio host and journalist Jon Gaunt said he fears that disinformation is being spread by mainstream media outlets on a daily basis.

When Dod asked him whether he personally feared the spread of fake news, Gaunt responded affirmatively, saying he “sees it every day on the BBC.”

"The idea that the BBC and the government of Britain are preaching on fake news, come on, behave! They are up to it too,” Gaunt said, citing both the Salisbury spy case and the alleged chemical-weapons attack on the Syrian town of Douma in April.

“No one knows the truth of either of those but if you read a British newspaper or watched BBC or Sky you will believe that Vladimir Putin did both.”

The journalist, who has himself featured regularly on the BBC and Sky, appeared on RT UK to comment on Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson’s appeal on Tuesday for journalists and those with IT skills to join the armed forced to counter fake news and cyber-propaganda.

Gaunt branded the appeal “a load of nonsense” and said: “To counter fake news we get new people to make more fake news. It’s just ridiculous.”

He added it was no coincidence that less than 24 hours after Home Secretary Amber Rudd’s resignation over the Windrush scandal, the defence secretary “comes out” with yet another Russia-bashing story.

“What they are trying to do is divert the public’s attention away and make us believe that the Russians are our enemy. It’s not working, it’s pathetic,” Gaunt said.

“The BBC, Sky News and every single mainstream media outlet just pump out the government narrative constantly,” he concluded.

And it is not just in the UK, but most countries in the western world are swallowing the garbage being poured out by governments with regard to Russia and Syria. These are two countries with some serious issues, but neither are guilty of all the things that MSM and western governments have attributed to them. This is Deep State in control.

Until the 50 s, the Palestinians were called " Arabs of Palestine " and Jews were called the " Jews of Palestine ", and everything was managed by the British mandate of Palestine.

There has never been a Palestinian State, this mythical state has never had a capital, there is a substantial difference between an Arab of the west bank and one of the transjordan, one of Jaffa and one of Damascus, one of Haifa and one of Beirut.

‘Support Gay Marriage’: Cake Row Case to be Heard at UK Supreme Court

A Northern Irish bakery found to have discriminated for its refusal to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple with the slogan “support gay marriage,” will have its appeal heard in the UK’s Supreme Court in Belfast today.

Daniel and Amy McArthur’s Ashers Bakery has twice been found to have discriminated on the basis of sexual orientation for refusing a cake order made by gay activist Gareth Lee in 2014. The McArthurs have said they cancelled the order because the cake’s message conflicted with their religious beliefs as evangelical Christians.

Gareth Lee had wanted to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia, which was to take place on the same day as his wedding, with the pro-gay marriage message on the cake. Same-sex marriage is a devolved issue for the UK, which Northern Ireland has not legally recognized – unlike the rest of the British Isles.

Describing how he felt at being refused his wedding cake order, Lee told the initial hearing in 2015 that it made him “feel I’m not worthy, a lesser person and to me that was wrong.”

Arriving at court today before the hearing, the McArthurs insisted that it has never been about the person, but rather “always been about the message,” the BBC reports.

Daniel McArthur told reporters: “We didn’t say no because of the customer; we’d served him before, we’d serve him again. It was because of the message. But some people want the law to make us support something with which we disagree.”

The case appears to be a clash over faith, freedom, and rights. A 2016 judgement handed down by Northern Ireland’s lord chief justice, Sir Declan Morgan, said that the ‘appellants’ [the McArthurs] should not “provide a service that only reflects their own political or religious message in relation to sexual orientation.”

Why should that not be their choice? Why should they be forced to offend God so as not to offend gays? Sir Declan Morgan obviously doesn't believe in God, at least, not a real God or he couldn't have made such an asinine ruling. 

What a remarkable transition we have made from a moral society to a just society. We've made it of no account to offend the living God Who created us and Who suffered and died for us and Who will stand in judgment over us. But instead it is a criminal offence to offend someone who offends God by their actions and their rejection of His warnings.

Five supreme court justices will hear the McArthurs’ appeal in Belfast: the president, Lady Hale, the deputy president, Lord Mance, Lady Black, Lord Hodge, and Lord Kerr. It’s the first week that the UK Supreme Court has sat in Northern Ireland.
