Germany says 3 suspected Hamas operatives were planning Jewish attacks
German federal prosecutors said Wednesday that three men arrested in Berlin on suspicion of being members of Iran's terror syndicate Hamas were accused of gathering weaponry in order to carry out scores of planned attacks on Israeli or Jewish institutions, according to The Washington Post, CBS News and CNN.
"Since at least the summer of 2025," prosecutors stated, the three have been "involved in procuring firearms and ammunition" for Hamas.
They added two of the men were German citizens and the third identified as Lebanese.

According to officials, the three were identified as 44-year-old Syrian national Ahmad I., Abed Al G., 36, and 43-year-old Lebanon-born Wael F. M.
Prosecutors in Berlin charged them with membership in a foreign terrorist group and organizing an act of anti-state violence after police seized a stockpile of ammunition and weapons, including a slew of pistols and AK-47 assault gun.
On Thursday, they will be in front a judge to determine if the three should be held in detention before a later trial.
The arrests came just days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to a 20-point U.S.-backed plan to end the bloody war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, now with credible U.N.-backed accusations of genocide, after he met Monday with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.
It followed last month's United Nations General Assembly vote to back an independent Palestinian-run state that exists without leadership by Hamas militants as a condition.
Sussex police investigate suspected mosque arson
Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Officials are looking for two suspects in a possible arson at a mosque in Sussex Saturday.
No one was injured in the incident, but the entrance to the building was damaged and they are investigating the fire in Peacehaven, East Sussex as a hate crime but not an act of terror, Sussex police said.
"This was an appalling and reckless attack which we know will have left many people feeling less safe," Sussex Detective Inspector Gavin Patch said.
Sussex police said they were called to the scene on Phyllis Ave. shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday to find parts of the building on flames. Video showed one person fleeing the building. Police said an accelerant was sprayed near the entrance to the building, which caused the fire to spread from the building to a car parked just outside.
"We are treating this as an arson with intent to endanger life and are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry to identify those responsible," he added.
Photos released by the police show one man carrying a black jacket with a Pre Londpn logo in white on the chest.
The second suspect is wearing bright red gloves.
Police have increased their presence at the church since the incident, and increased patrol at other houses of worship.
UK: Manchester Yom Kippur jihad murderer identified as Muslim migrant named Jihad Al-Shamie
The man’s name means “Syrian Jihad.” He was born in Syria and became a British citizen in 2006. The British government, in other words, brought this problem to Britain. It wasn’t there before the British left embraced socialism, internationalism, and open borders, and began to stigmatize and silence anyone who warned about what was happening as “racist” and “Islamophobic.” Anyone who might have raised concerns about the man’s name itself would have been shut down with calm, knowing assurances that Jihad meant “struggle,” and so there was nothing to be concerned about. And it does mean “struggle.” But the primary jihad in Islamic theology is the struggle against unbelievers with the goal of imposing Sharia upon them.

Assistant Metropolitan Police Commissioner Laurence Taylor, the head of counter-terrorism policing, told reporters the attack had been declared a terrorist incident. The suspect was fatally shot by police, he said.
He was later identified as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent….
UK: Muslim migrant assaults four people at asylum hotel, wants to go back to Syria, has ‘had enough’
The poor little fellow! How he has been victimized, how grievously he has suffered in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, where he assaulted four people and actually had to suffer the indignity of appearing at a hearing and being ordered to stand trial! Oh, the racism! Oh, the Islamophobia!
Asylum hotel attacker wants to return to Syria after Epping assaults
by Sam Russell, Independent, September 30, 2025:
A Syrian who assaulted four people at an asylum hotel where he was a resident has signed paperwork to return to his home country after being jailed for 16 weeks.
Mohammed Sharwarq travelled to the UK by small boat and was at the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, at the time of the offences this summer.
A sentencing hearing at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court heard that the 32-year-old had been due to stand trial for sexual assault after being accused of kissing a man on the back of the neck.
However, prosecutors discontinued the matter.
Sharwarq had denied the charge. He pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to two counts of common assault and four of assault by beating.
Terence Newman, prosecuting, said: “All of these offences were committed at the Bell Hotel in Epping, where the defendant was a resident at the time.”
He said that there were four male victims, with two of them fellow residents of the Bell Hotel and two of them staff.
The prosecutor said that Sharwarq approached another resident of the Bell Hotel in one of the kitchen areas from behind and slapped him on the back, causing no injury.
Describing another occasion, Mr Newman said that the defendant “charged” at the same man in a hallway, causing him to fear he was about to be assaulted.
“No contact was made – a security guard stepped in,” he said.
The prosecutor said Sharwarq approached the same man in the television room and “slapped him to the back and then proceeded to kick [him] to the back of the neck”.
He said the victim “confirmed no injuries were caused”.
Mr Newman said that on another occasion he punched the man, causing a “small cut to his jawline”.
On 12 August, the prosecutor said that Sharwarq “continues to be aggressive, he’s causing issues for several residents and staff members at the hotel”….
Sharwarq had “indicated a desire to return back to Syria despite the atrocities still going on there”.
“Despite the deaths and people going missing, he just wants to return back to Syria,” he said. “He’s just had enough.”…
