NYC: Muslim driver backs up at high speed, hitting tourist couple, killing and nearly decapitating woman
Maybe is just a tragic accident. Or maybe not. Will anyone look into the possibility of vehicular jihad? Vehicular jihad is popular among “Palestinian” jihadis. A billboard in Nazareth actually called for attacks of this kind. “Moderate” Fatah also called for such attacks. And the Islamic State issued this call in September 2014:
So O muwahhid, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons, and troops of the tawaghit. Strike their police, security, and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. Destroy their beds. Embitter their lives for them and busy them with themselves. If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be….If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him….
Minivan driver charged after German tourist killed, nearly decapitated in horrific NYC hit-and-run crash
by Joe Marino and Amanda Woods, New York Post, September 25, 2025:
…Mohammed Abouzaid, 40, of the Bronx, was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian and leaving the scene of an accident without reporting, and was awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.
“I did not hit anybody,” Abouzaid, who has no prior arrests, allegedly told authorities when he was picked up, according to cops and sources.
Police said Alexandra Sabine Lewalter Maric, 50, of Hamburg, was killed when a 2001 Toyota Sienna driver backed up at a high rate of speed at East 40th Street and Fifth Avenue around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.
As the driver — who was facing east on East 40th Street, blocking the intersection — backed up, he pinned the husband and wife between his car and a box truck stopped at the light, according to the sources.
The woman was nearly decapitated on impact and pronounced dead, the sources said.
Her 55-year-old husband — who was celebrating his birthday — suffered a fractured skull but was being treated at Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, sources said….
Abouzaid allegedly fled in the minivan — which had a vanity plate reading “TIMES SQUARE” and a Mississippi tag — only to be picked up by one of the NYPD’s new Quality of Life teams an hour later at West 38th Street and Eighth Avenue, authorities and sources said.
It has long been my contention that mentally ill people should not have access to guns. It has also been my belief that Dr. Wafa Sultan is correct in believing that devout Muslims are inherently mentally ill. Consequently, Muslims should have no access to guns in America, or anywhere else, for that matter.
Texas: Muslims shoot Christian youth baseball coach as he was praying with his players
Random? Or targeted? Coincidental? Or were they trying to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah”? We may likely never know, because Houston authorities are unlikely to dare to ask.
Three suspects arrested after Houston youth baseball coach shot during pregame prayer with kids
by Troy Kless and Michelle Homer, KHOU, September 25, 2025:
KATY, Texas — Charges have been filed against three men in connection with a shooting on Sunday, September 21, at The Rac Katy on FM 2855. It happened as youth baseball player and coaches were on the field.
A coach for one of the teams is recovering after he was shot during a weekend baseball tournament there.
Mahmood Abdelsalam Rababah, 23, Ahmad Mawed, 21, and Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah, 27, were arrested on felony charges of deadly conduct with a firearm. A judge set their bonds at $100,000 each. Their photos are below.
According to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office, the three suspects fired guns from a nearby pasture in the direction of the field.
Houston Warriors founder Andy Baize said the injured coach was saying a pregame prayer with their [sic] team.
“He literally took the bullet for a child that was to his left, and so thankfully we avoided a major disaster. Still very, very emotional over it,” Baize told KHOU 11.
Baize said the coach was shot in the shoulder.
“When he was struck by the bullet, his first reaction was to get down to the ground, cover his kids and get them to a safe space,” Baize said….
