Ozzone 11-12 > Are you changed, or do you still look at things as you used to? A complete and amazing change is the evidence that you are a saved soul.

 

Ozzone 11-11 > Self sacrifice may be a disease. Never choose the scene of your martyrdom but go through the crucible with God and know Him better.

 

Ozzone 11-10 > Do your aims and ideas get in the way of what God is doing through you?

 

So, if God tells us what He is doing in our lives, it is because He trusts us to not go running off and doing things in our own strength. Otherwise, He doesn't trust us, which is a pretty safe place to be.

Ozzone 11-9 > Are you leading people to be born again or just to a refined spiritual culture? The line of attraction is always the line of appeal.

 

Ozzone 11-8 > Go far beyond your spoken prayers and let the Holy Spirit loose

 

Ozzone 11-7> Do we even know how to invoke the Holy Spirit when interceding for someone or some situation?

 

Ozzone 11-6 > Do you trust Jesus now? In the moment? Or is your faith based in future events?

 

#Ozzone 11-5> We must experience the sufferings of Christ, or we are of little use to Him

 

In the seeking of temporal rewards, avoiding identifying in the sufferings of Christ, we limit our rewards in Eternity. Some will have great rewards; some will have much less so. You can have many of your rewards here and now if you insist and refuse Christ’s sufferings, but you may not see them in Eternity. The things God could have done with you may not get done, or He may have to equip someone else to do them.

Ozzone 11-4> Never allow a truth of God that is brought home to your soul to pass without acting on it, one way or another

 

Ozzone 11-3> I have to give up my right to myself to become one with Christ. My right to myself is my individuality which masks my personality.

 

‘Surrender means breaking the shell of my individual independence from God’ – another way of expressing this might be - Surrender means breaking my independence from God by cracking the shell of my individuality.

Remember, individuality is the counterfeit of personality. It is personality that loves, obeys, and creates. It is individuality that says, “I can’t, or I won’t," and therefore inhibits our ability to become one with Christ.

Ozzone 11-2> I have to give up my right to myself to become one with Christ, then His creativity begins in me

 

#Ozzone 11-1 > Are you merrily driving down the Freeway of Life, or are you of value to God?

 

As a Christian, are you on the Freeway of Life like most of the traffic? God wants you to take the next exit, to get out on the byways and the back roads where real people live. People die on freeways, but nobody lives on one. Get out onto the dirt roads through the mountains and valleys. God has people there for you to meet and reveal Himself to. It might not be the most pleasant drive; you may even break down at times. But God will be with you, and you will be of use to Him and to others.

Ozzone 10-31> If your faith is weak, it is because you don’t know God as you should

 

Pulling The bottom out of your experience is like God pulling the rug out from under you and knocking you to your knees. Another way to look at it is through the lens of St. John of the Cross’s “The Dark Night of the Soul.”

Ozzone 10-29> We think we’d be happy if only God would stop demanding personal holiness. Maybe so, but we’d be happy on the way to hell.

Seldom do you see the power of God until someone has stepped out in obedience to God’s command to “Go”

Ozzone 10-25> Realize you didn’t choose God, but He chose you. Then watch Him do something in you that He has never done in anyone else.

 

Ozzone 10-24 > Have you fixed it in your mind that you are caught up in the train of Christ’s victories?
