Canada Gives Omar Khadr $8m Compensation and Canadians Don't Like It

I'm going to shock some of my followers who know me to be conservative and Christian and come out on the side of the teen 'terrorist' Omar Khadr. Khadr is not being rewarded, he is being compensated for the 13 years of military imprisonment and torture he endured, all of which was against Canadian and international law.

Perhaps you think it is OK to torture children? Perhaps you think 14 and 15 y/o children are responsible for the situations in which they find themselves? You would have fit right in with the Rotherham police, social services and council. For decades they watched young British girls get sexually, physically, emotionally abused, even tortured by Pakistani adult men and did nothing. 

In 16 years in that city which is considerably smaller than Abbotsford, B.C., 1400 young British girls were groomed, given drugs, alcohol, raped, gang-raped, and beaten while the police, social services and council turned a blind eye. Why did they turn a blind eye? Two reasons: 1) They didn't want to be seen as racist; 2) they told themselves that 11, 12, 13, 14 y/o girls were responsible for their own circumstances. They decided that little children were choosing to be gang-raped, kidnapped, beaten, and trafficked.

Omar Khadr had no more choice to be in the situation he was in than any of those 1400 young British girls. To hold him completely responsible and reject his remarkable confession and apology (which is not something you will ever get from a jihadist), puts us beneath him in dignity. 

The Conservative Party, The Canadian Taxpayers Foundation, and many of my friends are, unfortunately, on the wrong side of this issue.

UPI -- The Canadian government will give $8 million and an apology to a citizen accused of killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan for abuses he endured while detained by U.S. forces in Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

In 2002, U.S. special forces captured Khadr after a firefight with al-Qaida forces in southeast Afganistan. Khadr is suspected of throwing a grenade that killed Special Forces Sgt. Christopher Speer and injuring Sgt. Layne Morris.

A Canadian court ruled that because Omar Khadr was 15 years old at the time of the firefight, he should have been protected by Canada under international child soldier laws. Instead, the government conspired with the U.S. to convict and imprison Khadr. While in U.S. detention, Khadr was subjected to emotional and physical abuse, including beatings, threats of rape and being hogtied until he urinated on himself.

In all, Khadr spent 13 years in U.S. military detention before he was released in Canada on probation in May 2015.

How he survived that without being an extremely bitter young man, I cannot imagine. But he is not, and it is obvious.

Due to Khadr's age and international laws meant to protect child soldiers from normal war crime prosecutions, his case has drawn criticism.

In 2008, the United Nations Children's Fund said charging Khadr for war crimes, "in particular in front of a military commission not equipped to meet the required standards, would set a dangerous precedent for the protection of hundreds of thousands of children who find themselves unwittingly involved in conflict around the world," the agency said in a statement.

Morris, who lost vision in one eye from the grenade attack and has since retired form the military, spoke out against Khadr's release in 2015.

"This is a man who has demonstrated a willingness and a capability to do great harm to Canadian society and Western interests in general," he said at the time.

He was 15 years old, doing what his powerful father trained him to do. In a firefight, he was probably just trying to survive. There is a big difference here between terrorism and a military battle.

Khadr was raised in a militant family in Toronto, taught bombmaking and marksmanship by his father before the age of 12 and sent to Afghanistan to fight the U.S. military with his father and brothers when he was 14.

Now 30, he has expresses remorse for his actions in the war between al-Qaida and the United States.

"I'm sorry for the pain I've caused for the families of the victims," he told reporters after his 2015 release. "There's nothing I can do about the past but I can do something about the future."

Yes, that Omar Khadr – the admitted Al-Qaida terrorist who murdered US Army medic Christopher Speer with a grenade.

Can it be called murder in the midst of a firefight? 

The same Omar Khadr who’s on video building improvised explosive devices exactly like the ones that killed and maimed countless serving Canadians.

When he was 14!

Now Justin Trudeau is reportedly giving this convicted terrorist a $10 million compensation package – and apologising to him.

Omar Khadr took the life of a husband and a father, and now the Liberal government wants to reward him with tens of millions of your dollars.

The language here is inflammatory and absurd. I despise the Liberal government as many of my blog-posts will attest, but in their defence, they are not rewarding Khadr for killing a husband and father. They are compensating him of 13 years of imprisonment and torture in a military prison, which was sanctified, if not participated in, by Canadian intelligence personnel.

Khadr is only alive today because of the medical treatment he received from US forces after killing one of their comrades, and now, thanks to Justin Trudeau, he will be one of the wealthiest men in Canada.

This is wrong.

Admitting to working with the same terrorist organisation that killed Canadians on September 11th doesn’t deserve an official apology from the Government of Canada.

More hyperbole and absurdity. The apology is for Canadian complicity in military detention and torture. 

Killing our allies doesn’t deserve a $10 million pay day courtesy of the taxpayers of Canada.

Will you just stop! This is not worthy of a government-in-waiting? It's like something you would hear on Fox radio. Mr. Scheer, please don't take us down that road!

Koran Reading in Glasgow Church ‘Denigrated Jesus,’ says Queen’s Chaplain

Bishop 'distressed' by row following Qur'an reading at cathedral

The leader of the Scottish Anglican church has said he was deeply distressed at the widespread offence caused by a reading from the Qur’an at a service to mark the feast of the Epiphany at St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow.

David Chillingworth, the bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane, and primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, said in a statement: “We also deeply regret the widespread abuse which has been received by the cathedral community.” He has launched a review of interfaith work.

His comments followed a row over the inclusion in the service of passages from the Qur’an read in Arabic from the cathedral’s lectern by a local Muslim student. The cathedral said it was part of efforts to build relationships between Christians and Muslims in Glasgow.

The student, Madinah Javed, 19, read from the book of Maryam, which tells the story of Jesus’s birth. It includes the Islamic teaching that Jesus was not the son of God. Muslims, however, revere Jesus as a prophet.

The reading triggered a backlash. The former bishop of Rochester, Michael Nazir-Ali, said: “Christians should know what their fellow citizens believe and this can include reading the Qur’an for themselves, whether in the original or in translation.

“This is not, however, the same thing as having it read in church in the context of public worship. The authorities of the Scottish Episcopal Church should immediately repudiate this ill-advised invitation and exercise appropriate discipline for those involved.”

The church's reading from the Koran for its Epiphany service has been criticized by the Queen’s chaplain, who said the reading was inappropriate because Christians are “suffering dreadful persecution at the hands of Muslims in the Middle East.”

The cathedral said it had become the target of offensive messages on social media, which it reported to the police.

A Police Scotland spokesman said last week: “We can confirm we are investigating reports of offensive comments made towards St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow and inquiries are ongoing. Police Scotland will not tolerate any form of hate and encourages all communities to work together to ensure no one feels threatened or marginalised.”

The cathedral’s provost, Kelvin Holdsworth, defended the reading, saying similar events had “happened a number of times in the past in this and in other churches, and have led to deepening friendships locally, to greater awareness of the things we hold in common and to dialogue about the ways in which we differ”.

The statement from the bishop said the Scottish Episcopal Church had a long commitment to interfaith work. “Over many years, we have sought to develop friendship, understanding and mutual respect between our Christian faith and the other great world religions,” he said.

Chillingworth added: “Those who seek to work in the area of interfaith relationships must weigh carefully whether the choices which they make are appropriate or otherwise.

“In today’s world, those judgments must give careful consideration to good relationships which have been carefully nurtured over many years in a local context. They must also weigh carefully the way in which national and international issues shape perceptions of what is appropriate or inappropriate.

“The decisions which have led to the situation in St Mary’s Cathedral are a matter for the provost and the cathedral community, but the Scottish Episcopal Church is deeply distressed at the widespread offence which has been caused.”

Chillingworth said the church would bring together “all those who are involved in the development of interfaith relations ... to explore how, particularly in the area of worship, this work can be carried forward in ways which will command respect”.

It's curious, none of these statements contain any reference to what Jesus might think of this mess. Chillingworth and Holdsworth seem only concerned about what people might think or do and how this might damage interfaith relationships. But to read a passage from the Quran that denies the deity of Jesus from the pulpit during a 'worship' service is utter blasphemy. Who, or what were they worshiping? It certainly was not Jesus Christ, the Son of God!

What a disappointment that neither the Provost nor the Bishop seemed concerned about what God thinks. Their excessive concern for Muslims is not unlike the Police and Council of Rotherham who sacrificed 1400 girls, most of them many times over, on the altar of political correctness. 

Then there is the matter of truth. Is the Bible true? Do Chillingworth and Holdsworth actually believe what the Bible says? If they did, how can they give equal weight to the Quran when it clearly contradicts the Bible? 

Jesus came, among other things, to complete the Law so the world could live under 'grace' not under the Law. Mohammed, on the other hand, came to put the world back under the Law, and a distorted version of the Law. The point is, either the Bible is true and the Quran false, or the Quran is true and the Bible is false. You can't preach them both!

Both the Bishop and the Provost need to get on their knees and get in touch with God, or they should resign their posts and go into social work.

UK Police Have Learned Nothing from Rotherham

1400 girls sexually abused and exploited over 16 years because police were afraid of being labelled racist. The extraordinary price paid (by children) for police political correctness in Rotherham and several other cities, has gone completely unnoticed by Scotland Yard even within its own.

Speaking to the Sunday Times, Javaria Saeed, who worked for the Metropolitan police’s counterterrorism department, took exception to comments made by a Muslim constable who said that female genital mutilation was a “clean an honorable practice” that “shouldn’t be criminalized.”


The 35-year-old resigned from the capital’s police force in March after she became disillusioned by “political correctness,” which resulted in a culture of “us and them” to emerge among some Muslim officers who believed themselves to be above the law.

“My experiences were that it was Muslim officers being racist towards my individual views; also in private, holding racist views against white officers, and sexist views against females,” she said, speaking to the Sunday Times. “If such views were held and expressed by white officers, they would be fired.”

Saeed was a constable in the SO15 counterterrorism division, which was set up to improve relations with the Muslim community. She also alleged that the same officer said that Muslims who had been victims of domestic violence should not go to the police, but, instead, seek resolution through sharia courts.

No action was taken against the police sergeant when she raised both cases with senior officers. The 35-year-old, who had been part of the Metropolitan police for a decade, told the Sunday Times that she had been called a “bad Muslim” by other Muslim officers for not wearing a hijab and that some colleagues told her she was “better off at home looking after your husband.”

“Racism in the Met is not from white officers, in my case, but from Muslim officers who the service refused to properly investigate because they were afraid of being called Islamophobic and racist,” she added.

“You give management action to minor offences, so it’s pretty outrageous that the Met did not take proper action against him,” Saeed said. “If he was a white officer, he would have been fired.”

The former police officer mentioned that she had been told by other senior members of the force that complaining about Muslim policeman would “hinder” her hopes for promotion in the future.

When she discovered that her superiors were not looking into her concerns, Saeed approached Detective Superintendent Jonathan Wilson, who was the head of the Muslim Contact Unit (MCU) where she worked.

The Metropolitan police said that the constable who made the comments regarding female genital mutilation and domestic violence had been given “management action,” which is seen in the police force as a minor punishment. He has been allowed to stay on the force.

Masked Marchers Beat Immigrants in Stockholm - Societal Entropy

There's a law in physics called the Second Law of Thermodynamics. The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the state of entropy of the entire universe, as an isolated system, will always increase over time. The second law also states that the changes in the entropy in the universe can never be negative.

This is a confusing definition unless you understand what 'entropy' is. It is a lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder. 

One more explanation: 'an isolated system' means a system with no influence from 'outside' of itself.

Christians often use this law as proof that life evolving from nothing is impossible and defies a known and accepted law. They say that without God, the Earth, the solar system, etc, are isolated systems and can only tend to disorder. 

Whether this law can be applied as such outside of thermodynamics is for philosophers and physicists to discuss, but the principal seems to work elsewhere. 

Society, for instance, without strong controls on behaviour from governments or police, will degenerate into chaos and violence. That is obvious in many countries like Somalia, Tunisia, several African countries in fact. It is also true in Central America where cities are run by street gangs and or drug cartels and where murder rates are extraordinary. 

One might also argue that America is an example of societal entropy, and for many reasons. For instance, the Supreme Court decided to strike down the law that protected the lives of babies while in their mother's womb. That is a withdrawal of influence on that segment of society, and the result was the abortion of approximately 50 million babies since 1973.

There is also the issue of rapidly deteriorating morality in America as laws loosen or disappear governing sexual perversion, pornography, etc. Just yesterday a friend reported a Facebook image of bestiality that appeared despite his best efforts to prevent such things. Facebook informed him that the image was not beyond community standards and they would not block it.

But on the other side we are also seeing the government become impotent with regard to gun control. They are stymied at every turn in just trying to ensure that anyone buying a gun has a criminal background check. The result is mass shootings almost daily making America one of the most dangerous countries in the world to live in or visit. Of course, this is all done in the name of 2nd Amendment Rights, but that is a red herring. It's about money! It's about gun sales! When Americans wake up and realize that they have been duped by gun manufacturers and sellers, and that they are enabling the insane, the criminals, and jihadists to murder and terrorize their children, they will have a lot to answer for.

We are seeing societal entropy modeled in Europe where an influx of migrants, not just last year but for several years, has brought the social standards of Muslim societies into Europe. The consequence? A deterioration of societal standards and behaviour across the UK and the continent.

Just look at the devastation of Rotherham, England, where some 1400 girls in their very early teens were sexually abused and exploited, many of them raped and gang-raped hundreds of times, almost entirely by Pakistani immigrants. 

In Europe, border controls were virtually eliminated by the Schengen agreement for most EU countries. That elimination of controls resulted in the free and easy movement of jihadists and other lunatics around Europe as they organized horrific attacks on Paris.

Now we are seeing another aspect of societal entropy in Germany and Sweden. Gangs of Germans and Swedes are now roaming around looking for lone migrants for the purpose of beating the crap out of them. This is, at least in part, thanks to the New years Eve behaviour of Muslim men unable or unwilling to control themselves, and molesting German and Swedish women. It also may have to do with the astonishing rise in the rape of white girls and women at the hands of Muslim immigrants. 

The point is that good, orderly societies are becoming almost anarchic as a consequence of their government's unwillingness to adequately protect young, white women from immoral, Muslim men. That was true in Rotherham, it is true in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Holland, and many other EU states. Weak, impotent, or unwilling governments lead to rapid deterioration of societies. Societal Entropy!

A gang of up to a hundred black-clad masked men marched in central Stockholm on Friday evening, singling out and beating up immigrants, and handing out leaflets threatening further violent attacks against unaccompanied refugee youth.

The march, the most extreme reaction seen so far to the murder on Monday of social worker Alexandra Mezher, has been linked to football gangs and far-right groups. 

It was followed on Saturday morning by a demonstration at the nearby Norrmalms Torg  organised by the anti-immigration Sweden Democrat party, which called for the government to resign over its handling of the refugee crisis.

According to Aftonbladet newspaper, men were distributing leaflets on Friday evening with the slogan “It’s enough now!” which threatened to give “the North African street children who are roaming around” the “punishment they deserve.” 

“They were scattering leaflets which had the intention to incite people to carry out crimes,” Stockholm police confirmed on its website.

By 9pm, three people had been arrested, one for punching a plain-clothes policeman, and another for carrying brass knuckledusters, although all three had been released by Saturday morning. 

“We have been able to link them to hooligan gangs for Stockholm football teams,” Fredrik Nylén from the Stockholm Police told Aftonbladet newspaper.

A witness told the newspaper that he had seen a group of the men beating people who appeared to have a foreign background in the middle of Stockholm’s busy central Sergels torg square.

“They came from Drottninggatan [Stockholm's main shopping street] and walked down toward the square and began to turn on immigrants,” a witness told Aftonbladet. “I saw maybe three people who got beaten. I was quite scared so I left.”

Police on Saturday morning would not confirm whether any of the marchers had assaulted immigrants.

After the attack the Swedish Resistance Movement, a neo-Nazi group, issued a statement claiming that the groups had “cleaned up criminal immigrants from North Africa that are housed in the area around the central station”. 

“These criminal immigrants,” the post continued,”have robbed and molested Swedes for a long time.” 

“Police have clearly shown that they lack the means to stave off their rampage, and we now see no other alternative than to ourselves hand out the punishments they deserve,” the text of the leaflet, published on the group’s website, read.

“Swedish men and women deserve security in their daily lives and we therefore urge all others who see problems to follow in our footsteps, both in Stockholm and in other locations around the country.”

Merkel and the rest of Europe tried to keep it a secret. Good thing we have social media. Otherwise we’d know nothing.

If we had to rely on the mainstream media they’d have us just where they want us, whitewashed and blacked out from the truth.

But now we know what happened New Year’s Day and Night in Cologne and throughout Germany and elsewhere around the continent.

Diversity has come home to roost.

Blondes have more fun? Not if they’re in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Hordes of men described by victims as “Arabs” and as “men from North Africa” took to the streets to sexually assault the revelers, mostly female. There were rapes and attempted rapes and the women courageous enough to speak up continue to tell it straight and without embellishment of what it was like to be manhandled at an event that was supposed to be joyous and festive.

In what used to be Europe.

But Europe did not want us to know. To admit the truth would get Israel off the hook.

To admit that this generation of Arabs is the same gang that torments Israel night and day would be a stretch too far for Europeans.

...a generation of Arabs who know no limits, 

who share no Judeo Christian/Western values 

and who use our freedoms to liberate their carnal appetites.

To admit that Europe’s Migrants are the same stock as Israel’s Hamas and Fatah and Hezbollah would mean that Europe has awakened.

Europe would rather sleep and destroy itself from within from immigration suicide. (Coming to America as well.)

Europe would rather view Israel as an enemy than as a friend fighting the same war, a world war brought to us all from a generation of Arabs who know no limits, who share no Judeo Christian/Western values and who use our freedoms to liberate their carnal appetites.

Merkel is not entirely to blame but she is much to blame. She opened the door. Come one, come all, she declared. So they came.

This past year alone Germany cheerfully welcomed a million such refugees, most of them men without women – likely deserters from the wars in Iraq and Syria.

Merkel’s heart was probably in the right place, but for the wrong people. It is obvious that she was motivated by atonement, guilt for the Holocaust.

So now, depleted of Six Million Jews, she’s replenished Germany (over the years) with six million Muslims, and the word is, mum.

Say nothing if it was a mistake to bring them in.

The mayor of Cologne, Henriette Reker, blamed the victims. Women, she declared, ought to know their place and “stay at arm’s length.”

Arms length would have made no difference in Cologne; they would need to stay a football field's length away to keep themselves safe.

Whatever that means…or rather it means that the world belongs to the mobs…the same mob, Hamas, which trampled the streets of Jerusalem only today.

Everything belongs to them.

A high-ranking police officer in Berlin announced that there was nothing the police could do. Women, in other words, are on their own.

Too bad, ladies, but the Migrants come first. It’s their feelings that count.

In a recent column along these pages I wrote about it as clearly as I could:

“Therefore it is not for them to adapt to us – it is for us to adapt to them. When they rape, it is our fault. They can’t help themselves.”

Finally, the mainstream media came clean, but only after being prodded along through Twitter and Facebook. The New York Times opened up about the New Year’s atrocities and even the BBC had no choice but to run with what’s happening in Germany, Sweden and Norway, but without naming Rotherham.

Rotherham was where we first learned about the trend. Women and girls were being raped by men of Pakistani origin, a scandal hushed up to protect Muslims rather than the thousands of victims. People who complained were arrested for daring to speak the truth and upset the balance favoring the coddled predators.

Chalk this up as the insanity of political correctness.

I warned about European Thinking toward a clashing civilization in the pages of this book, writing: “We understand your need to rape, behead, enslave and murder your neighbor. Perfectly understandable. You’re pi—ed off and it’s our fault.  We are sorry and we are ashamed. We deserve everything you’ve got to give.”

Now, therefore, Islam uber alles.

Does Merkel wake up in a sweat howling, “My gawd, what have I done?” I think so.

But this won’t be the first time Germany is guilty of a terrible blunder six times over.
