Islamic Madness > Preached in Canada - Does Islamic Scripture confirm a horrible interpretation of Mark 9:48?

Canada: Muslim cleric calls on Muslims to wage jihad

and be killed in the process so they’ll get 72 virgins

How many people will be killed because of this exhortation from Sheikh Younus Kathrada? While he is calling upon young Muslims to seek martyrdom, which involves killing and being killed, the Canadian government is busy clamping down on “Islamophobia.”

The Qur’an guarantees paradise to those who “kill and are killed” for Allah (9:111). It makes a promise to those who gain a place in paradise: “Indeed, for the righteous is achievement, enclosed gardens and vineyards, and large-breasted women of equal age, and a full cup” (78:31-34). A hadith has Muhammad expand on this: “There is no one whom Allah will admit to Paradise but Allah will marry him to seventy-two wives, two from houris and seventy from his inheritance from the people of Hell, all of whom will have desirable front passages and he will have a male member that never becomes flaccid (i.e., soft and limp)’” (Sunan Ibn Majah vol. 5, book 37, no. 4337). The “inheritance from the people of hell” are women who have been condemned to eternal torment and sentenced to serve their time by becoming sex slaves for the Muslim men in paradise.

This is absolutely stunning! I have never read these passages before and I am astonished by how well it fits with the Bible. In Mark 9:48, when Jesus says, “Where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched” (ESV), He is talking about Hell. Few scholars will attribute that to mean that the male member will never become flaccid, but it strikes me as being appropriate punishment for those who sexually abuse women and children. Imagine the horror of 'never becoming flaccid'. I have always questioned my interpretation of Mark 9:48, but never expected to find what appears to be confirmation in Islamic Scripture.

Why would a virgin be 'people from Hell'?  This is surely a joke being played upon naive Muslim boys to get them to commit suicide. It is madness, like the madness we see in the eyes of the Sheikh in the photo below. Perhaps his madness comes from reaching such an old age and wondering if he completely missed out on the 72 virgins.

Canadian Sheikh Younus Kathrada in Friday Sermon Titled “Jihad and Marytrdom”:

Martyrs Receive 72 Virgins in Paradise, Nobody Has The Right to Mock This –

We’ll See Who Has the Last Laugh; May Allah Make Us Martyrs,

Grant Victory to the Mujahideen, Curse the Jews

MEMRI, December 1, 2023:

On December 3, 2023, the Muslim Youth Victoria YouTube channel livestreamed a sermon delivered by Canadian Islamic scholar Sheikh Younus Kathrada titled “Jihad and Martyrdom.”

In the sermon, Sheikh Kathrada listed the seven blessings received by a martyr when he is killed while waging Jihad for the sake of Allah, which include receiving 72 black-eyed houri virgins in Paradise.

Kathrada said that the enemies of Islam mock the Muslims about the promise of 72 virgins and label mujahideen as terrorists, but are in fact jealous of the Muslims, adding: “Let’s see who has the last laugh.” He also cursed Muslims who similarly mock the idea of receiving 72 virgins in Paradise, elaborating that Allah’s martyrs have sacrificed everything for His sake and for the sake of Islam, and that nobody has the right to mock them.

But the reality is, some, if not most of the Muslim martyrs have not sacrificed everything for Allah, but have rather sacrificed everything for 72 virgins. But they will not be virgins, nor will they be found in Paradise.

In addition, he praised the mujahideen in Gaza, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kashmir, and said: “I beg of Allah to make us of those who have been martyred in His cause.” He concluded his sermon by asking Allah to grant victory to the mujahideen all over the world, to annihilate the Jews, and to liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

California: Muslim cleric weeps, asks ‘What have we done

wrong to not be martyrs for the sake of Allah?’

In Islam, a martyr is not just someone who is killed for Allah, but someone who kills non-Muslims for Allah.

“Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth, because the garden will be theirs, they will fight in the way of Allah and will kill and be killed.” (Qur’an 9:111)

Will anyone in the congregation take Mohammad S. Ahmed’s words to heart?

Torrance, California Imam Mohammad S. Ahmed During Friday Sermon:

The Children Of Israel Have A Long History Of Wickedness, Murder,

And Occupation; Bursts Into Tears: What Have We Done Wrong To Make Allah

Not Choose Us To Be Martyrs Like The Palestinians?

MEMRI, December 23, 2023:

Imam Mohammad S. Ahmed broke down in tears during a December 22, 2023 Friday sermon at the Islamic Institute of Torrance, California, asking: “What have we done wrong to not be martyrs for the sake of Allah?” He added: “What have we done for our mothers not to be like the mothers of the martyrs in Palestine […] for our men not to be among those resisting in Palestine?” Ahmed went on to say that the Palestinians have been chosen by Allah to be “the best people living on the earth nowadays.” He said that the Children of Israel have a long history of cowardice, wickedness, and murder and that Allah has punished them for this. The sermon was posted on the YouTube channel of the Islamic Institute of Torrance.

Imam Mohammad S. Ahmed: “Whatever is happening nowadays in Palestine is not something that is new or just recent. The Children of Israel have a long history of cowardice, a long history of wickedness, a long history of murder and occupation, and all kinds of things that Allah has punished them for.

But then, why is Allah punishing you?

“How come Allah chose those Palestinian Muslims to be closer to him? What have we done wrong to be so far from Allah? What have we done wrong to not be martyrs for the sake of Allah? What have we done wrong to not be blessed like the people in Palestine have been blessed? What have we done wrong for our mothers to not be like the mothers of the martyrs is Palestine? What have we done wrong for our men not to be among those resisting in Palestine?

“What have we done wrong for us not to be chosen for that perfect picture that the Palestinians have drawn today? That perfect picture of faith in Allah, that perfect picture’s trace, that perfect picture of belief. They were chosen for this picture…

“They were chosen for this. This is not our choice, it is the choice of Allah, and He chose them to be the best people living on the face of the earth nowadays. He did not choose us.”

Have you ever heard such madness? You have not been chosen to be martyrs for Allah because the Real God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has given you an opportunity to renounce your false god and turn to the Truth. Jesus said: I am the Truth!

Joel Osteen Ordered To Acquire Butcher’s License Due To Exegetical Methods

In the category of 'silliness' comes this little gem:

HOUSTON, TX—The Texas Department of State Health Services has issued an order to Joel Osteen, bestselling author and pastor of Lakewood Church, to acquire a butcher’s license in order to continue handling Scripture.

The department’s Meat Safety Assurance Unit was tipped off to a potential violation of the state’s health code, which prohibits individuals from butchering and mangling poultry, meats, and biblical passages for the public’s consumption without proper training and licensing. When a health inspector then performed a surprise undercover visit to Lakewood Church, sure enough, Osteen was in fact seen brutally slaughtering several passages—including Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 1:5, and Psalm 46:10a—without the proper licensing.

“Really we’re just crossing our T’s and dotting our I’s here,” Judd Grant, spokesperson for the inspection unit, told the Houston Chronicle. “It was clear from our observation of Mr. Osteen that he is in fact a skilled and experienced butcher of texts of all kinds. But rules are rules.”

Osteen is expected to comply with the request, and has already spoken victory over the licensing process according to the church’s Director of Positive Thinking.

The War on Christianity Flares Up at Sheffield University, UK

UK university expels Christian postgrad student over Facebook anti-gay marriage post - media
Is this the first act of discrimination for citing scripture?

A social worker postgraduate has been expelled from Sheffield University for citing a biblical verse against homosexuality on his private Facebook profile while backing Kim Davis, a US clerk, who refused to issue marriage certificates for same-sex couples.

Felix Ngole, a 38-year-old father of four, was forced to abruptly finish his studies as a second year Masters student after the university’s ‘fitness to practice’ committee ruled that by calling gay marriage an ‘abomination’ on his FB he “transgressed boundaries which are not deemed appropriate for someone entering the Social Work profession," the Telegraph reports. Ngole, a devoted Christian, was citing Leviticus while propping his argument on the gay marriage issue.

The designated Bible verse says: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

The university’s disciplinary board began reviewing the case two months after the post appeared on his page, following a complaint from a fellow student. Ngole, who had already completed two university degrees and used to work as a teacher, was accused of “bringing the profession into disrepute” by voicing his personal opinion on the sensitive subject.

The probe by the Fitness to Practice Committee said that although the student was entitled to express his views on gay marriage, his remarks “may have caused offence to some individuals.” Based on this judgment, Ngole was found unfit to pursue the chosen career path and was "no longer recognized as a University student.”

So, freedom of speech is sacrificed on the altar of 'may cause offence'. This would be a very quiet world if no-one was allowed to offend anyone else. Or is it that the remark 'may have caused offence' to a gay person?

I would suspect that if the roles were reversed and a gay person made a disparaging remark about Christians, the Fitness to Practice Committee would not find it the least bit offensive. Christians are fair targets; gays are not. Even though Christians are persecuted and martyred all over the world (more than 10,000 of them in Nigeria alone), it is gays who need protection!!!??

Ngole intends to appeal the decision on the basis of discrimination.

“I wonder whether the university would have taken any action if a Muslim student who believes in Sharia law, with its teaching about women and homosexuality, had made moderate comments on his Facebook page. I don't think so," said Ngole, stressing that he was being discriminated against for expressing Christian beliefs, as cited by Premier ChristianRadio.

Or if a Muslim was sanctioned for reciting the Quran or Hadith, would that spark a reaction from the Committee (read: Thought Police)? If it did, there would certainly be a counter-reaction from the Muslim community, and not a very pleasant one.

Ngole who came to England from Cameroon in 2003 as a refugee, also questioned the right of educational institutions to monitor students` personal activity and rule that a particular student is fit or unfit for a profession based on his/her social media postings.

"If each university is making its own, arbitrary decisions, who is monitoring these decisions and how can students ensure that, across all universities, there is good, fair and equal assessment of such issues?” Ngole asked, warning of dangers that lie in banning persons from becoming professionals in social work and other fields in connection with their personal statements.

Universities, in his opinion, should follow a completely different path and, instead of censoring peoples’ beliefs, encourage an exchange of opinion.

“If they are 'censored' from even sharing their ideas or beliefs as part of a discussion on Facebook then how can that happen?” says Ngole, who plans to file a legal motion referring to the breach of his right of expression if his appeal to the university panel fails.

"I am not against people who are in same-sex relationships: that is their choice. But I am a Christian and if asked for my views I should be free to express that,” he said, as cited by the Guardian. He intends to challenge the panel’s argument that he would be unable to work with gay people, as they may stumble on to the controversy surrounding his name on the internet.

"I have worked with people in same-sex relationships in the past and there has been no issue whatsoever,” he claimed.

Andrea Williams from the Christian Legal Centre said the university’s conduct violates Ngole’s fundamental rights.

"The university has failed to protect his freedom of speech under Article 10 and his freedom of religion under Article 9,” she said, referring to the Human Rights Act.

A spokesperson from the University of Sheffield told RT: “The University of Sheffield is concerned that stories in the media about a student undertaking a MA in Social Work are factually incorrect. The individual concerned is currently appealing the decision of a Fitness to Practise Committee, relating to professional registration and the standards of the relevant professional body.

“These standards are nationally determined by the Health and Care Professions Council. As the case is subject to appeal, the University of Sheffield will not comment on this case at this time.”

A spokesperson for the University of Sheffield denounced the accusations of religious bias against the student, saying that media reports were “incorrect.”

It's not an intentional 'religious' bias, but it is religious bias. Those on the committee are most likely to be atheists who don't believe the Bible was inspired by God, nor do they even believe in the God they will have to stand before in judgment. Most atheists believe that the 2.4 billion Christians around the world are all idiots. They, unfortunately, have completely missed the very point of our existence.

Marine Court-Martialed for Refusing to Remove Bible Verse

This is one of the most ridiculous stories I have done in awhile, well, at least since

Monifa Sterling (Courtesy Liberty Institute)
By Todd Starnes
FoxNews.com

A United States Marine was convicted at a court-martial for refusing to remove a Bible verse (taped) on her computer – a verse of Scripture the military determined “could easily be seen as contrary to good order and discipline.”

The plight of Lance Corporal Monifa Sterling seems unbelievable – a member of the Armed Forces criminally prosecuted for displaying a slightly altered passage of Scripture from the Old Testament: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”

Sterling, who represented herself at trial, was convicted February 1, 2014 in a court-martial at Camp Lejune, North Carolina after she refused to obey orders from a staff sergeant to remove the Bible verses from her desk.

She was found guilty of failing to go to her appointed place of duty, disrespect toward a superior commissioned officer, and four specifications of disobeying the lawful order of a noncommissioned officer.

As it now stands – Sterling is unemployed and looking for work. It’s a process made harder because of the bad conduct discharge from the military. Hopefully Liberty Institute will be able to restore this Christian Marine’s good name and expunge the charge.

The Christian Marine was given a bad conduct discharge and a reduction in rank from lance corporal to private.

Both lower court and the appellate court ruled that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act did not apply to her case because displaying a Bible verse does not constitute religious exercise.

And so, was there some other explanation for her actions? Apparently, they just decided that Monifa put the scripture on her computer to start trouble. That is one stupid ruling - make that two stupid rulings since it was ruled at two levels of court.

However, a religious liberty law firm and a high-powered, former U.S. solicitor general have taken up her case and have filed an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

“If the government can order a Marine not to display a Bible verse, they could try and order her not to get a religious tattoo, or go to church on Sunday,” said Liberty Institute attorney Michael Berry. “Restricting a Marine’s free exercise of religion is blatantly unconstitutional.”

Sterling wised up and finally got legal counsel. Now representing her are the Liberty Institute along with former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement, also a law professor at Georgetown University.

Clement most recently won a Supreme Court victory on behalf of Hobby Lobby against the Affordable Care Act.

Liberty Institute and Clement plan to argue that the appellate court should have applied the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in Sterling’s case – protecting her right to post Bible verses as a form of religious exercise.

According to the appellate court’s decision, they were not convinced “that displaying religious text at a shared government workstation would be protected even in a civilian federal workplace.”

They also considered the fact that Sterling’s desk was shared by other Marines.

“The implication is clear – the junior Marine sharing the desk and the other Marines coming to the desk for assistance would be exposed to biblical quotations in the military workplace,” the court declared. “It is not hard to imagine the divisive impact to good order and discipline that may result when a service member is compelled to work at a government desk festooned with religious quotations.”

Festooned with religious quotations?

Attorney Berry points out that other Marines were allowed to decorate their desks. However, the lower courts refused to allow that evidence to be admitted. And at the time of the incident – Sterling was not sharing a desk.

“This was a conflict between her and her supervisor,” he told me. “Her supervisor clearly said she did not like the tone of the Bible verses.”

What? If I were going into battle and the person beside me quoted that scripture, even if I didn't know it was scripture, I would be grateful to have someone with such an attitude beside me. I think her supervisor needs some help.

Berry said the supervisor cursed at Sterling and ordered her to immediately remove the verses. She refused the order. The following day, she discovered the verses had been removed and thrown in the trash.

The references here are to 'verses' - plural! Were there other verses that aren't being shared with us? Because there is hardly anything offensive in the least to the verse quoted above. It doesn't include the Name of Jesus, nor even of God. What possible way could that offend anyone?

“Adding insult to injury, the government charged her with the crime of failing to obey a direct order because she did not remove the Bible verse,” Berry said.

Which is exactly what she did, and she doesn't have a leg to stand on there, except that the order was frivolous and vexatious and should never have been given in the first place.

According to court documents, the military maintains the “verbiage” – “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” could “easily been seen as contrary to good order and discipline.” How absurd! It would make a great motto for a unit going into battle. I would love to hear an explanation of how this verse could possibly be seen as contrary to good order and discipline.

“Maintaining discipline and morale in the military work center could very well require that the work center remain relatively free of divisive or contentious issues such as personal beliefs, religion, politics, etc.” And a small strip of paper taped to a computer exceeds what you would call 'relatively free'? Does that mean that a Muslim must shave his beard?

Liberty Institute attorney Hiram Sasser told me it was outrageous “that such a small strip of paper could so frighten a drill sergeant.”

“This is a very scary time when you are not allowed to have a very small printed Bible verse in your own personal workspace because it might offend other Marines,” Sasser told me. “Our Marines are trained to deal with some of the most hostile people on the planet. I don’t think they are afraid of tiny words on a tiny piece of paper.” Yea, verily, and Amen!

The Bible verse incident happened in May 2013. A few months later she was accused of failing to wear an appropriate uniform because of a medical condition.

Berry told me he believes the military was trumping up the charge sheet “to make it look that things were worse than they were.”

As it now stands – Sterling is unemployed and looking for work. It’s a process made harder because of the bad conduct discharge from the military.

Hopefully Liberty Institute will be able to restore this Christian Marine’s good name and expunge the charge.

Anything less could jeopardize the standing of every person of faith serving in the Armed Forces. Should that happen – God help us all.

A couple more deductions from this disgraceful story:

It seems to me that everyone involved was wrong in what they did/said, from Monifa, to her superior, to the judges who tried her. Everyone over reacted to what is an absurdly frivolous situation.

Monifa, God bless her for her Christian conviction, should have obeyed the order. Her refusal resulted in the rapid and spectacular escalation of the situation, and she is paying the price now.

I admire people who stand up for their convictions, but, at the same time a person thoroughly committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ will have yielded their rights, all of their rights, to Him. This is how things get out of control when we Christians insist on our rights. Out of control, and out of the will of God.
