Elon Musk Just Exploded One of the Left’s Favorite Smear Tactics With Some Common Sense

Elon Musk has just dared to shine the light of truth and accuracy upon one of the left’s favorite weapons of propaganda and manipulation.

Whenever mainstream media “journalists” want to make people dislike someone and reject whatever their victim may stand for, they start calling the person they want to destroy “far right.” The idea is to associate the victim with Hitler and fascism without saying anything that could end up being legally actionable, and the leftists have not hesitated to use the label for anyone and anything they don’t like, no matter how far from anything genuinely “far right” their target may be.

One notorious example is the media’s use of “far right” to try to defame everyone who dares to oppose its favorite religion, Islam, and to speak out against jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women. And so the late Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, who was a gay activist with leftist positions on everything except his refusal to accept the Islamization of the Netherlands and Europe, was “far right.” So is his political heir in the Netherlands, Geert Wilders, whose party’s program aligns with the left on almost everything except its opposition to mass Muslim migration into Europe, and so he, too, is “far right.”

I myself believe in free speech, free enterprise, and free society, and reject racism, fascism, and the like, but when I started writing books about how Islamic jihad is a historic and present-day threat, I, too, became “far right,” and was placed on the blacklists of the Southern Poverty Law Center and Anti-Defamation League, and defamed and deplatformed accordingly.

The whole thing has gotten so absurd that in a December 2024 article published in the aftermath of an Islamic jihad attack upon a Christmas market in Germany, the Daily Mail warned: “This Christmas market carnage will make a dangerous situation even uglier – and the Far Right will grow even stronger.” Yeah, that’s the biggest takeaway from a jihad attack that killed six people and injured over 300 others: the “far right” may take advantage.

The idea that anyone at all would have been worrying about the “far right” at that moment demonstrated how avid the establishment media is to divert attention away from Islamic jihad violence. If that required warning about a nonexistent threat and once again smearing people who were simply trying to stand against the prevailing madness, so be it.

Now, however, Elon Musk has had enough. The Hill reported Friday that in a recent interview, The Economist’s Editor-in-Chief Zanny Minton Beddoes claimed that Musk “supports not just the populist right, but the far right — in fact, very fringe parties in some countries.”

Musk took issue with this characterization, saying: “No, I support the normal people. What you call the far right, falsely. Literally, you could go back 10 or 15 years and these policies were completely normal.”

Completely normal, as they had been for centuries, if not millennia.

Tucker Carlson: ‘I Don’t Know Anyone Who’s Been Killed by Radical Islam.’

Tucker tells Soros alum that Islamic terrorism “doesn’t reflect the ‘lived reality’ of anyone I’ve ever met.”

By the time it does, Tucker, America will be long lost. 

In an interview with Harrison Berger, formerly of Drop Site News (which received $250,000 from George Soros), Tucker Carlson claimed that the recent TPUSA poll showing that a majority of attendees thought that “Radical Islam” was the greatest threat to America was really an Israeli “op”.

“I don’t know anyone in the United States in the last 24 years who’s been killed by radical Islam.” Tucker Carlson claimed.

How about the last 25 years? You probably know of nearly 3000 people in America killed by radical Islam. And hundreds more killed in the previous 10 to 20 years. 

And if you actually read the news from Europe, you would know of hundreds, if not thousands, of people murdered by Muslims, as well as many thousands of European girls raped or gang-raped by Muslims who could not even be classed as radical.

He argued that, “I believe in measuring reality a little more empirically” meaning that since, presumably Tucker didn’t know them personally, they don’t matter and don’t exist.

The podcaster went on to argue that video games and pornography were much more dangerous than Islamic terrorism which is really not an issue.

“So anyone who believes that lie, I feel sorry for, but it doesn’t reflect the ‘lived reality’ of anyone I’ve ever met.”

‘Lived reality’ is a leftist term suggesting that personal experiences and feelings of especially ‘oppressed groups’ matter more than the facts.

The people believing that ‘lie’ included the late Charlie Kirk who warned that “Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America”. Tucker has made common cause with the Left and Islam while echoing Obama and the Left in denying Islamic terrorism.

Tucker Carlson made his comments in an interview with Berger at ‘American Conservative’, a formerly conservative site which now hires Soros alums like Berger and promotes Islamic causes, and which had called for the creation of a ‘Palestinian’ state.

Perhaps some of these people don’t fall into Tucker’s ‘lived experience’, but they are the victims of Islamic terrorism.

This is Ann-Laure Decadt who was murdered in New York City by a Muslim terrorist. Tucker may not have known her personally, but her life still mattered.

This is the Muslim terrorist who killed her.

Why doesn’t Tucker want us to talk about this? As the authorities, who are very much in sync with Tucker, like to say after every attack, “no motive has been reliably established.”

Candace Owens: “No matter how hard the GOP tries to make ‘radical Islam’ happen, the base doesn’t care about it”

“The base” may or may not care about it. I’ve been shouting into the void for decades myself. But I’ve also amassed here at jihadwatch.org over 90,000 pieces of evidence that “radical Islam,” or actually, mainstream, jihadist Islam, is a real threat, not one that “the GOP” is ginning up. In fact, “the GOP” cares about it only a bit more than Candace Owens herself does, even if it doesn’t share her hateful paranoia about the tiny Jewish state being the actual threat to the United States.

Certainly, I am not among the base of the GOP, however, I have been warning of the coming catastrophe that is Islam for more than 10 years. It is becoming very obvious that Islam is the vehicle that will be driven by the antiChrist during the Great Tribulation, which is only a few very short years away, if it hasn't already begun. That professing Christians like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens can't see that is very disturbing.

June 26 (UPI) -- WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange arrived home in Australia on Wednesday a free man after earlier pleading guilty to breaking U.S. espionage law in a federal court in Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands.

The 52-year-old stepped off a private flight in Canberra just before 8 p.m. local time to applause, cheers and chants of "welcome home" from a waiting crowd of well-wishers as he was met by his wife, Stella Assange, father, and Australian officials."Touchdown! After enduring nearly 14 years of arbitrary detention in the U.K., five years of it in maximum security prison, for his groundbreaking publishing work with WikiLeaks, Julian Assange has arrived home on Australian soil," the media NGO wrote in a post on X.

Assange spoke on the phone with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese whose behind-the-scenes diplomacy is credited with persuading authorities in the United States and Britain to bring the case to a conclusion that satisfied all sides.

"Earlier tonight I was pleased to speak with Julian Assange to welcome him home to his family in Australia," Albanese told a news conference.

"As prime minister, I have been clear -- regardless of what you think of his activities, Mr. Assange's case had dragged on for too long. I have clearly and consistently -- at every opportunity and at every level -- advocated for Mr. Assange's case to be concluded.

"His arrival home ends a long-running legal process. I want to express my appreciation to the United States and the United Kingdom for their efforts in making this possible."

Australia's ABC News reported that Assange told Albanese that stepping onto Australian soil as a free man was a "surreal and happy moment" and that the prime minister had "saved his life."

Assange has yet to speak publicly but a defiant team Assange held a press conference in which his lawyers Barry Pollack and Jennifer Robinson, while welcoming the outcome, attacked what they said was the "unprecedented in a 100 years" use of the Espionage Act for the prosecution of a journalist or publisher that should never have been brought.

Thanking the Australian public for their support, Assange's South African-born wife told reporters her husband needed time to recuperate from all that he had been through and asked for privacy and space for the process to take place and to let their family be until he felt able to speak.

Stella Assange, who is also a lawyer, warned the prosecution set a dangerous precedent called on the global media to push against the criminalization of journalism but said she hoped her husband could one day receive a pardon.

"I hope journalists and editors and publishers everywhere realize the danger of the U.S. case against Julian that criminalizes, that has secured a conviction for, news gathering and publishing information that was true, that the public deserved to know," she told reporters.

"That precedent now can and will be used in the future against the rest of the press. So it is in the interest of all of the press to seek for this current state of affairs to change through reform of the Espionage Act. Through increased press protections, and yes, eventually when the time comes -- not today -- a pardon."

As the world careens recklessly toward a one-world government, control of the press is a necessary part. That has already been accomplished in mainstream media, but outliers have to be disciplined. Soon, there will be attacks on Elon Musk and X.com.

Assange's return to his native Australia brings to a close a 14-year legal fight over WikiLeaks' disclosure between 2009 and 2011 of more than 250,000 classified diplomatic cables and military files supplied by U.S. Army intelligence whistleblower Chelsea Manning that Washington said had compromised national security, put the lives of U.S. operatives at risk and caused major embarrassment.He arrived from from the U.S. territory of Saipan where he admitted to a single count of conspiring with Chelsea Manning to unlawfully obtain and disseminate classified information relating to the national defense of the United States as part of a plea bargain his legal team negotiated with the U.S. Justice Department.

Under the deal, U.S. District Court chief judge Ramona V. Manglona imposed a prison sentence that precisely matched the time Assange had already spent in Belmarsh prison and then told him he was free to go.

He flew into Saipan from London after being released on bail from Belmarsh High Security Prison on Monday where he had been held since April 2019 and from where he waged a five-year battle in Britain's courts against extradition to the United States.

The United States had wanted him returned to face trial on 18 counts under the Espionage Act of 2017 which could have seen him receive a sentence of up to 175 years in a maximum security federal prison.

Prior to that, he was holed up in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London for seven years after being granted political asylum which was later withdrawn.
