Muslim Gunmen Kill 14-Year-Old Christian Boy

LAHORE, Pakistan (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Muslim gunmen shouting threats against Christians shot a 14-year-old Christian dead on Monday (Feb. 5) in Pakistan, sources said.
Sunil Masih and other Christians were standing in a market in the Mandiala Warraich area of Gujranwala District, Punjab Province, on Monday evening when six Muslim men armed with pistols arrived on motorcycles and opened fire on them, said the slain boy’s uncle, Mehboob Gill.
“We were talking to each other when suddenly Zaman Butt and his accomplices Anas Yaseen, Adil Abdul Rehman, Ashraf Inayat Ullah and two unidentified men came there on motorcycles,” Gill said. “Adil shouted that no Christian in the area should be left alive, after which Zaman opened fire on Sunil with his pistol, hitting him in the chest.”
Yaseen shot at another Christian boy, identified only as Jamshed, with the bullet only grazing him, Gill said.
“The other assailants also opened fire on us with their weapons, but we managed to save ourselves by taking cover of a wall,” Gill stated in the First Information Report (FIR No. 226/24) registered with the Gujranwala Cantt Police Station.
The gunmen fled the scene while hurling threats at the Christians and so far have not been arrested.
“We rushed Sunil to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his bullet wound before doctors could begin their treatment,” Gill said, adding that his nephew was an eighth-grade student whose father, George Masih, works at a local car shop.
The Rev. Numan Matto of the Gondalanwala Presbyterian Church in Gujranwala said the murder was religiously motivated.
“In May 2023, some Muslim youths disrupted a marriage ceremony of Christians and also attacked a church,” Matto told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “However, police and the district administration did not take any action against the influential accused, despite several protests by the Christian community.”
Between 400 to 450 Christians have lived in the area peaceably for decades, but recently the environment has turned hostile toward religious minorities, he said.
“If the police had taken stern action against the accused involved in the attack on the church last year, our young child would not have died at the hands of these criminals,” Matto said.
Fearing more attacks, he urged senior police and district administration officials to ensure the protection of the area’s Christians.
“Sunil’s murderers are at large, and the audacity of their attack shows that they will not hesitate to strike again,” he said. “The police will be responsible for any more loss of life of Christians if they do not take adequate security measures.”…
It seems that perhaps the police are quite happy to take that responsibility. This, because they haven't met the Christian God.
NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – A formerly Muslim couple in eastern Uganda, parents of four young children, were slashed to death on Feb. 2, two months after putting their faith in Christ, sources said.
Twaha Namwoyo, 38, and his 27-year-old wife, Nadiimu Katooko, were slain for their faith outside their house in Bulalaka village, Saala Parish, Kibuku Sub-County, Kibuku District, a neighbor said.
“I heard people talking and conversing loudly in Arabic and the Lugwere language, saying that Twaha is to reap the fruits of leaving Islam,” the neighbor told Morning Star News on condition of anonymity. “After a few minutes, I heard loud wailing coming out of Twaha’s house.”
The neighbor, a Christian, said his family locked the doors of their home, “not knowing our fate. We kept awake the whole night in great fear. But thank God the attackers did not come to our house.”
Officers from the Kibuku central police station arrived and found the bodies with deep cuts, and that of Namwoyo with a swollen neck, possibly indicating strangulation. Their mutilated bodies were found outside, and the children – ages 7, 5, 3 and 2 – were locked inside the house, sources said.
Police found several long Somali swords, knives and an axe at the scene, likely left as a warning to other Muslims considering conversion to Christianity, the neighbor said.
Kibuku central police registered case No. CRB/10/2024 as a homicide.
The neighbor did not recognize the assailants due to the darkness and said they could have been both local residents and outsiders. Many Muslims in Uganda speak Arabic.
The couple had converted at a Christian center in Nampido village, said a friend who led them to faith….

Germany: North African migrant urinates on a train conductor

A migrant male brutally beat a German train worker who was performing a ticket check and then severely humiliated his victim by urinating on her in front of several witnesses, only to escape the scene and attack a number of other women at a nearby supermarket. He remains on the run.
Witnesses at the train station at Graben-Neudorf in Karlsruhe, located in southern Germany, say a 35-year-old migrant attacked a 57-year-old rail employee when the worker tried to check his ticket. A police spokesperson said the suspect, who has a “North African” appearance, severely injured the train worker “by punching, kicking and choking” her.
The migrant then grabbed the woman’s head and pushed it against his crotch in an attempt to simulate oral sex. He then turned to the people on the train and demanded they shout, “Heil Hitler.” As a final act, he urinated on his victim in front of witnesses, according to German newspaper Bild.
The man fled the scene, while emergency services transported the woman to the hospital with severe injuries. The migrant walked into a nearby supermarket and proceeded to attack two other women, threw a plate at a saleswoman, and then hit a customer who was waiting to pay at a checkout counter.
He then walked into the supermarket parking lot armed with a broken bottle where he attacked a driver, stole his car keys, and fled in the victim’s gray VW T-Cross. While fleeing in the car, the man drove erratically, leading to several accidents.
Police continue to actively search for the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous.
As Remix News has reported in the past, migrants are responsible for a greatly disproportionate share of crime in Germany, and public workers on bus and rail transportation have often been the targets of attacks. It is especially dangerous for ticket controllers, who are often attacked for asking foreigners to pay for their tickets….

Remember what former Chancellor Angela Merkel assured her countrymen back in 2015, when she opened wide her country to more than a million Muslim migrants? No need to worry because “Wir schaffen das!” which is to say “We can do this!”
No, Angela. It’s not the indigenous Germans, but the Muslim migrants, who can now say, with feeling, “We can do this!” And they do. Not a million, but hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants, have been let into Germany every year since 2015. Merkel’s naïve optimism has not panned out, and the Germans have been suffering from the presence of their new neighbors, who are happy to pocket every conceivable benefit from the generous German welfare state, but unwilling to integrate into the larger, non-Muslim society, for those migrants know that the Germans, as infidels, are “the most vile of created beings.” It would not make sense for Muslims, “the best of peoples,” to try to become like them, to follow their mores, or obey their laws.
Germany has been living with the consequences of Merkel’s disastrous action ever since — paying 36 billion euros a year for the benefits provided to the Muslim economic migrants, enduring a sharp increase in crimes, committed by Muslims, and discovering that some neighborhoods in its major cities have turned into no-go areas where non-Muslims fear to tread.
It’s hard to believe that the German government has now outdone Angela Merkel in its disastrous dealings with these migrants, but so it has, by passing legislation that will give an estimated 2.5 million Muslim migrants quicker paths to citizenship, and thus to the right to vote, which will change Germany’s political landscape forever. If the AfD wins the next election, its first order of business should be to restore the five-year residency requirement for German citizenship. Second, it must undo Angela Merkel’s madness and put a halt to Muslim migration. Third, it should provide the police with sufficient resources to round up and deport illegal migrants. Fourth, it should limit welfare benefits to migrants who have resided in the country, gainfully employed, for five years. Fifth, Muslims who have been convicted of a crime should, after serving their sentences, be stripped of their citizenship (if they have it), and be deported back to their countries of origin. That would be a start.
Christian Mother from Sudan Beaten in
Refugee Camp by her Muslim husband

JUBA, South Sudan (Morning Star News) – Among the estimated 2,000 displaced Sudanese who are converts from Islam is a mother of seven children whose husband beat her upon learning of her Christian faith, sources said.
Hawa Ismail Abdalla, 44, received medication for head injuries after her Muslim husband beat her on Dec. 27 at the Wedwiel Refugee Camp on South Sudan’s border with Sudan, but she lacked money for necessary treatment, an area source said. The camp is north of Aweil in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state, South Sudan.
“My husband told me, ‘Why did you believe in Issa [Jesus]? You are an infidel” before attacking her, Abdalla said, adding that she has forgiven him.
Abdalla, whose youngest child is 8 years old, received some aid first inside the camp and later was taken to an area health center, though she lacked the 700,000 South Sudanese pounds (approximately USD700) for the needed treatment, an area church leader told Morning Star News.
“I ask you to pray for me to recover from the injury,” she told members of a house church in the camp.
Her family had lived many years in a camp for Internally Displaced People in southwestern Sudan’s Nyala town, South Darfur state, before military conflict in April drove them to the new refugee camp in South Sudan. She had put her faith in Christ while in the camp in Nyala, and her pastor there was among the refugees who fled to the heavily populated Wedwiel Refugee Camp.
About 9,000 refugees now live at the camp, most of them from South Darfur state.
“The Christians who are fleeing the war in Sudan are facing persecution from Muslim refugees” in both Darfur and the Wedwiel camp in South Sudan, the pastor, whose name is withheld for security reasons, told Morning Star News by phone.
He said the 2,000 refugees and internally displaced people in Sudan who have converted to Christianity from Islam all face the threat of persecution.
Abdalla, he said, has returned to the Wedwiel camp, though difficult living conditions there – food rations are in short supply – may drive her family to return to Sudan.
Fighting between the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF), which had shared military rule in Sudan following an October 2021 coup, has terrorized civilians in Khartoum and elsewhere, leaving more than 12,000 people dead and displacing an estimated 7.7 million others inside and outside the country.
Christian sites have been targeted since the conflict began….
