Islamization Backlash - Slovakia Bars Islam

Slovakia Bars Islam From Country, Won’t Allow Mosques
PM said 'Islam has no place in this country'
Lionel Du Cane

Bratislava, Slovakia

Slovakia – along with many other Central and Eastern European countries–has repeatedly adopted a hard-line stance against the integration of Islam, perhaps overshadowed by right-populist countries such as Poland and Hungary.

According to Voice of Europe, Slovakia is the last EU member state without a Mosque within its borders.

At the inception of the 2015 Migrant Crisis, Slovakia refused a small quota of 200 Muslim migrants, according to the Telegraph.

An interior minister, at the time, said, “We want to help Europe with the migration issue. We could take 800 Muslims but we don’t have any mosques in Slovakia so how can Muslims be integrated if they are not going to like it here?”

Slovakia still doesn’t recognize Islam as an official religion; and the 5,000–or 0.1% of the population–who call the Central European country their home are of European descent, galvanizing the interior minister’s argument concerning integration.

Referring to Slovakia’s politicians’ view on the matter, Indian publication, The Youth, said, “In the year of 2007, politicians had changed the nation’s laws, rules and regulations so much so that 20,000 signatures from members were required to be recognized by the state.”

“In 2017, they were more than doubled the number of required signatures.”

Additionally, that small Muslim population is not afforded the same religious rights as 18 other groups recognized by the country’s government. This means that no religious leaders, marriages, or similar financial contributions are provided.

Following the 2015 anti-Muslim stance, the European Commission disapproved, saying, “We act here in the spirit of the treaty, which prevents any form of discrimination.”

In 2016, according to the Independent, Prime Minister Robert Fico said: “I’m sorry, Islam has no place in Slovakia. It is the duty of politicians to talk about these things very clearly and openly. I do not wish there were tens of thousands of Muslims.”

He also said, “I talked about this several times with the Maltese Prime Minister, who told me that the problem is not that they were coming, but they are changing the character of the country.

“And we do not want to change the traditions of the country, which is built on Constantine-Methodist tradition.”

The problem is not that they were coming,
but they are changing the character of the country.
Maltese Prime Minister

Fico later implied that he wished to preserve his country’s cultural heritage–which he believed would be jeopardized by the inclusion of culturally incompatible migrants.

The anti-Islamic stance has not been met without resistance.

In an interview with the Slovak Spectator, the Islamic Foundation in Slovakia said, “The repeated statements of Mr Premier do not only harm Slovak Muslims but also the country’s interests as a sovereign country which is building its position on the international scene.”

Despite this, other politicians maintain their position on the topic. For example, MP Andrej Danko said: “Islamization begins with kebab and in Bratislava it has already begun. So understand what it could be like in 5-10 years.”

‘We Can’t Have Turkish Laws on French Soil’: Macron Vows to Fight Foreign Imams Preaching ‘Islamist Separatism’

Macron taking tentative steps to deal with France's
rapidly growing Islamic problem

Paris will clamp down on imams from Muslim countries that arrive in France to push worshipers into violating the law, the country's President Emmanuel Macron said, warning Turkey it can't "feed separatism" on French soil.

Macron promised to "gradually" end the program allowing Muslim countries to send imams and teachers to France in order to teach languages and culture unsupervised by the state. Speaking at the town of Mulhouse near the German border, he said that the influence of foreign imams leads some to "separate themselves from the Republic and therefore not respect its laws."

The French leader singled out Turkey because, unlike Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, Ankara has not yet reached an agreement on the program with Paris. "Turkey today can make the choice to follow that path with us or not, but I won't let any foreign country feed a cultural, religious or identity-related separatism on our Republic's ground," he said.

We cannot have Turkey's laws on French soil. No way.

There are currently 151 Turkish imams in France, according to the Interior Ministry.

Macron stated that he was "not trying to offend anyone, but will not be complacent" either. In order to fight "Islamist separatism," he asked the French Muslim Council (CFCM) to improve the training of imams so they could "master" French laws.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said that the practice of sending foreign imams to France will end in 2024.

If there is anything left of France in 2024?

Turkish parliament speaker Mustafa Sentop blasted Macron’s words as “a sign of primitive Islamophobia.” In a tweet, the senior lawmaker accused Paris of “disrupting peace in [Africa’s] Sahel and Libya and creating chaos in the Muslim world,” as well as supplying arms to insurgent Libyan Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, who Ankara considers a “putschist.”

Putschist definition: 1. believing that a government should be removed by force

France participated in the 2011 US-led intervention in Libya, during which its longtime ruler Muammar Gaddafi was toppled and killed. The North African country has since been devastated by a protracted civil war. Paris and Ankara clashed recently after Turkey threw its support behind the UN-backed Tripoli-based government against Haftar’s forces that have been closing in on the city.

Macron accused Turkey of undermining ceasefire in Libya. The officials in Tripoli, for their part, alleged that Paris has been supplying Haftar with weapons, after French-made missiles were discovered at a base belonging to the anti-government forces.

So long as the inventory keeps moving - that's all that seems to matter.

New All-Time Record Low Temperature For Greenland Set Last Month

Did you see that on the news? No? Neither did I.

By Paul Homewood
notalotofpeopleknowthat

A month ago, it was reported that a record low temperature for Greenland had been provisionally set on 2nd January:

Summit Camp, also known as Summit Station, is a year-round research station on the apex of the Greenland Ice Sheet. It is located some 10,500 ft (3,200 m) above sea level, and it’s data is often cited by climate alarmists claiming “Greenland Is Melting Away Before Our Very Eyes” and other such nonsense…

Adding to the list of temperature measurements those alarmists will likely ignore –or won’t even get to hear about given the mainstream media’s warm-bias– is Summit Camp’s preliminary low of -86.8F (-66C) set at 11:13 PM on January 02, 2020.

The reading, once confirmed by the DMI, will enter the books as Greenland’s coldest-ever recorded temperature–not only at Summit Camp, and not only in January, but of anywhere across the island, and of any month of the year.

Table of the old Summit Camp temp records (all-time low record smashed on Jan 02, 2020).

Somehow, in what we’re to believe is a linearly warming world, Greenland –the poster boy for global warming– is currently the coldest we’ve ever known it to be.

Furthermore, the Camp’s measurement isn’t far off the lowest ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere — that title remains with Oymyakon, Russia, and it’s 1933 observation of −89.9F (−67.7C).

https://electroverse.net/greenland-just-set-a-new-all-time-record-low-temperature/

To the best of my knowledge, this fact has not been reported in the MSM, nor by the official agencies, such as NOAA, DMI, NSIDC or the UK Met Office, as would quickly have happened if it had been a record high.

Neither has the temperature measurement even been officially confirmed.

I have therefore contacted DMI (Danish Meteorological Institute), who have ultimate responsibility for Greenland, and received this reply from John Cappelen:

I have now had the opportunity to go through the American observations from NOAA GeoSummit from January 2, 2020 . I have at NOAA’s wab-site found January 2020 ftp data up to January 15, 2020.

January 2, 2020 was a cold day at SUMMIT and 23:13 utc the temperature had a minimum -64,9C…the same temperature was registered 23:15 and also 23:16 utc….data looks all right….I have attached 60 minute-observations of temperature in degrees celsius from GeoSummit NOAA (SUM)  January, 2, 2020 23:00-23:59 utc

As you can see NOAA GeoSummit measure the lowest temperature -64.9C January 2, 2020. I do not know if that a record breaking temperature at NOAA Geosummit. You have to ask NOAA about that?
At DMI Summit…now closed…the lowest temperature measured during the time the station was alive was -63.3C  on February, 21, 2002…but have in mind that DMI Summit only measured every 3 hours and that no min and max temperatures exist from that station.
I cannot see -66C as you mention in the GeoSummit NOAA data?
best regards,
John Cappelen
Senior Climatologist MsC, Science Writer, Data Management Specialist

Although the DMI equipment has now been closed, it was at the same location as the Geo Summit, so readings should be comparable.

Quite clearly then, a new record low has been set for both Summit and Greenland. Whether it is –64.9C, as stated by John Cappelen, or the graphic reading from Electroverse remains a mystery.

Nevertheless, we await the new record to be officially declared by NOAA, and reported in the world’s press!

Geoengineering - Another Lunatic Answer to Global Warming

'Tangled ball of issues': Why geoengineering our climate raises serious ethical, scientific challenges

Some believe solar radiation management could stop the world
from catastrophic warming
Nicole Mortillaro · CBC News

The skies over the northeast Pacific Ocean are seen streaked with clouds that form around the particles in a ship's exhaust. One method of geoengineering borrows from this phenomenon. Some researchers argue it could be used to stop the planet from catastrophic levels of warming. (NASA/MODIS)

As global carbon emissions continue to rise despite warnings from the scientific community, there's been increased interest in a controversial method to potentially mitigate the rise in Earth's temperature: Geoengineering.

The conversation around geoengineering — or the deliberate manipulation of our environment — is gaining traction as climate projections remain dire.

Dire, but absurdly so.

Scientists, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), have repeatedly cautioned that emissions need to be rapidly cut in order to keep the world from warming 1.5 C or 2 C above pre-industrial times — the threshold that would result in widespread damage and suffering.

But with emissions still on the rise, some researchers are now calling for a closer look at more experimental measures, ones that could be pursued alongside emissions cuts.

One of the more popular forms of geoengineering is known as solar radiation management, or SRM.

But SRM is fraught with questions — both ethical and scientific.

There is more on this nonse.... ah, story, at CBC News, although I'm not sure it qualifies as news.

Geoengineering, mostly cloud seeding, does address some of the real causes of global warming, not CO2 or other GHGs, (the far-and-away number one GHG is water vapour), but a decrease of clouds in the atmosphere because of solar activity. Solar activity, sunspots, create solar winds which intercept interstellar winds that contribute to create clouds. When sunspot activity is low, there is more cloudiness and cooler temperatures. That's why the coolest known periods in history are associated with solar minimums.

This geoengineering idea actually seems to acknowledge this theory and proposes a possible solution. But it won't work! It might even appear to work but in the end it will probably be worse than anything the hyperbolic IPCC has imagined so far.

They are thinking of adding sulfur, or calcium carbonate to the atmosphere to increase cloud amounts.

What will that do when it mixes with the air that we breath? Will we actually be able to breath it?

What will it do when it rains on the earth and on our lakes and oceans? Will it affect the acidity or alkaline levels? Will it kill a bunch of fish leaving rivers and lakes dead?

Will the surfer collect in our forests and turn our trees into giant match-heads?

One of the great fears about global warming is the flooding of coast-lands. Most coastal flooding occurs near the mouths of rivers when river levels are high, tides are high and storm-surges occur.
Seeding clouds will result in sometimes significantly more rainfalls. These rainfall must eventually find their way to the ocean causing higher river and lake levels on their way. When they happen to reach the mouths of the great rivers, you better pray that it doesn't coincide with a storm or there will be flooding like we've never seen.

I question whether seeding clouds in one area will reduce the number of clouds in another area downstream. If you are removing moisture from the air, then fewer clouds can form downstream, increasing the solar radiation, the temperatures, and decreasing the rain/snowfalls.

If the IPCC really wants to do something constructive, they should begin studying the real causes of global warming - sunspot activity, solar winds, the tilting of the earth on its axis (notice the rapidly moving magnetic north pole), and the course of the earth around the sun. Is anyone even measuring that?

Svensmark - Basically, his theory is that cosmic rays cause ions in the atmosphere which eventually contribute to cloud formation. Sunspot activity acts as an umbrella reducing the cosmic rays that reach the earth, thereby reducing cloud cover, resulting in warming temperatures. Periods of minimum sunspot activity correlate well with reduced cosmic rays and temperatures.

The IPCC was formed by the WMO and UNEP in 1988 with the mandate to study the man's affects on climate change. They were not given the authority to study non-anthropogenic global climate change, so they don't. Their computer models are restricted to perceived man-made effects. Hence, they ignore the main causes of global warming and amplify the anthropogenic effects. This is not science; this was a political decision.
