Quebec Premier François Legault promised on Tuesday to toughen secularism measures in schools, saying he was “shocked” by revelations about a Montreal public school where a group of teachers had tried to introduce what the premier described as “Islamist” beliefs.
Legault appointed Education Minister Bernard Drainville and Jean-François Roberge, the minister responsible for secularism, to come up with solutions to prevent religion from creeping into classrooms following a government report into Montreal’s Bedford school.
“There is something very disturbing in this case. It is this attempt by a group of teachers to introduce Islamist religious concepts into a public school,” Legault wrote on social media. “In Quebec, we decided a long time ago to remove religion from public schools. We will never accept going back.”
The Centre de services scolaire de Montréal — Quebec’s largest school service centre — said Saturday that 11 teachers were suspended with pay after a government investigation found that a “dominant clan” at Bedford school imposed strict, autocratic rule over students.

The investigation revealed that the teachers — many of whom were of North African descent — were allegedly influenced by the local mosque and subjected children to physical and psychological violence. They either refused to teach — or paid little attention to — the science and sex education curriculum.
The evidence gathered suggested some teachers didn’t believe in learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders and refused to let specialists in the classroom, believing instead that discipline — with the idea of “breaking” the student — would put them on the “right path.”
Witnesses told the government investigators that local religious leaders exerted a “strong influence” on several school staff and a mosque representative underscored to school officials the importance of having good relations with the place of worship….

Nothing could be less mysterious than this man’s motive, but job one for the establishment media is to ensure that no one have any reason for thinking ill of Islam. Hence the ever-witless Daily Mail and its more respectable colleagues all engage in this charade.
Also, the Daily Mail is (characteristically) wrong about the meaning of “Allahu akbar.” It means “Allah is greater,” that is, greater than your god. It does not mean “God is greatest.”

A knife-wielding attacker screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ has murdered a Swiss tourist by slicing her throat in front of her terrified children at an Algerian cafe.
The Swiss woman, who has not been named, died on October 11 in the holiday resort of Djanet, southern Algeria, after she was attacked while sitting on the terrace of the Scanner cafe, located in the city centre, with her children and a friend.
The attacker, reportedly a young man from northern Algeria, slit the woman’s throat, and she was quickly taken to hospital, where she lost a lot of blood and later died, according to Swiss broadcaster RTS.
While his motive was not known, the broadcaster reported that the man had shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is greatest’) and ‘Long live Palestine’ during the attack….
All radicalized Muslims believe that all white people are Christians, and therefore 'infidels' in the Islamic economy. Infidels are an opportunity to qualify for entry to paradise where they are awaited by 72 black-eyed virgins. All you have to do is murder them. There's your motive!
The man had also reportedly attempted to attack another group of tourists at a market shortly before the deadly attack, but had been pushed back.
The attacker had reportedly arrived in Djanet six months ago and was dressed as a ‘Tuareg’ – a nomadic ethnic group of people who live in the Sahara and surrounding areas….
Algeria suffered through a decade of civil war in the 1990s following the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS)’s victory in the country’s first ever multi-party municipal elections.
The FIS, which had vowed to establish an Islamic state, clashed with security forces, triggering the war that would go on to claim tens of thousands of lives, with many of the deaths blamed on Islamist groups.

Horrific news has come from Borno State, in north east Nigeria. Four abducted people have been beheaded by extremists believed to be from Boko Haram – who also released a graphic video of the murders.
In the video, an armed terrorist, dressed in fatigues and speaking Hausa, told onlookers how one of the people he would behead was his younger sister.
“She’s part of the infidels we will annihilate today,” he said. He went on to say that he would do the same if it were his mother or his own child – anyone ‘who goes against our religion’.
Before killing the people in the video, he said: “Wherever there is an infidel, we will go and find them out by ourselves and execute them.”
It is believed that at least one of those killed is a Christian, though the faiths of the other three have not been confirmed. It is known that Christians are particularly vulnerable to extremist attacks in the region, as followers of Jesus are prioritised as targets under the extremists’ definition of ‘infidel’.
“Boko Haram extremists have clearly said time and time again that they are waging a jihad against people they call ‘infidels’ – that is anyone who does not sign up to their extreme interpretation of Islam,” says John Samuel*, Open Doors’ legal expert for sub-Saharan Africa. “Some of the people at the top of this list, then, are Christians who are clear targets because of their faith.”…
And, as it is becoming more and more obvious, anyone who tolerates Christianity in the Sahel, is liable to be declared infidel and slaughtered.
