In my humble opinion, Danielle Smith is the best Premier Alberta has had since Ernest Manning in 1968. If you don't agree, you might be in the wrong province.
Today Alberta’s UCP government has proposed amendments to the Alberta Bill of Rights for the first time since it was introduced in 1972.
This legislation includes four key amendements.
These amendments would enshrine in the Bill of Rights the right for an individual with capacity to accept or refuse a medical treatment, including a vaccine. This means Albertans will never again be subject to a government vaccine mandate.
It would also expand property rights and ensure just compensation for landowners.
This legislation would also affirm the right to acquire, keep, and use firearms in accordance with the law.
Lastly, the amendments would protect the right to freedom of expression, broadening the scope of this right beyond written and spoken language.
