Italian court rejects outsourced migrant detentions in Albania in blow to Meloni

Europe

A court in Italy on Friday ruled against the detention of the first migrants sent to Albania, foiling the right-wing government’s plan to outsource the processing of asylum seekers to the non-EU country. PM Meloni’s nationalist Brothers of Italy party slammed the ruling and Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said the administration would appeal the court's decision.

As Giorgia says at the end of this clip, judges have made it impossible to find a 'safe' country to send illegal asylum seekers to. The consequence of this is that Italy becomes a much less safe country.
Meloni should consider declaring Italy a non-safe country and refuse to take in any asylum seekers.

French Interior Minister Retailleau charts

new hardline immigration strategy

EXPLAINER
France

The newly formed French government plans to adopt another, tougher immigration bill next year, and leading the charge is hardline Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau. It is the latest in a series of moves under French President Emmanuel Macron to tackle immigration, a favourite talking point of the far right.

As I have mentioned a few times before, France24 is a far-left media outlet, as are most legacy media outlets, having been bought and paid for by God only knows who.

Calling immigration 'a talking point' for the far right is an insult and reveals a complete lack of insight into both France and Islam. A disgraceful lack of insight and a complete abandonment of patriotism that has made France what it is today. Or, at least, what it was before Islamization.

Oct. 18 (UPI) -- French prosecutors opened a criminal investigation Friday into the death of a baby pulled from the English Channel after an overloaded boat carrying migrants capsized off the northern coast of France, southeast of Calais.

Authorities launched a major air-sea-rescue operation Thursday night involving the French Navy and a helicopter when the small vessel began sinking, rescuing 65 people. The baby was found unconscious in the water as rescuers scoured the area for more victims.
