Two suspects aged 18 and 17 were arrested at the Villeparisis – Mitry-le-Neuf RER station (Seine-et-Marne) this Thursday morning shortly after 10 a.m., while they were armed with an unloaded rifle. The latter are both in an irregular situation on French soil, indicates a source close to the case, confirming information from Europe 1.
It all started in Paris earlier in the morning when two RER B passengers contacted the police, explaining that a man dressed in a djellaba was on a train with a rifle that he was hiding under his clothes. The train was then at Denfert-Rochereau station in Paris (14th century).
The police tried to intercept the suspect at the Châtelet-les-Halles station, in vain. After lengthy checks in an RER, which lasted nearly 45 minutes, disrupting traffic, the man could not be found. “Users who feared the worst quickly left the premises, leaving their belongings behind, which led to the intervention of the demining service, as a safety measure,” confides a source close to the matter.
The two suspects already known to the policeThe search continued and it was finally in Seine-et-Marne that the suspect, as well as a 17-year-old teenager, were arrested. The weapon, believed to be a 22 caliber long rifle, was discovered on the young adult. The latter, who is of Algerian nationality, is already known to the police and is subject to an obligation to leave the territory (OQTF), indicates a second source. The teenager, who is a Moroccan national, is an unaccompanied minor. He is also already known to the police.The two suspects were placed in police custody for carrying a prohibited weapon, advocating terrorism and criminal association. The investigation was entrusted to regional transport security (SRT).

IDF says he was murdered in terror attack

The Israel Defense Forces on Saturday found the body of a 14-year-old Israeli who went missing while shepherding in the West Bank a day earlier, as renewed clashes were reported between settlers and Palestinians.
Jerusalem resident Benjamin Achimeir was murdered in a terror attack, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency said in a joint statement.
Amid violent clashes on Saturday afternoon by settler extremists with Palestinians after the body was found, with the Palestinian Authority news agency reporting one Palestinian shot in the head and critically injured, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to the public not to hinder the work of the security forces in apprehending the murderers and maintaining security.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued a similar plea, but also specifically warned the public: “Revenge attacks will make it harder for our forces in their mission. Do not take the law into your own hands.”
According to the IDF, Achimeir set out in the early morning hours of Friday from a farm near the outpost of Malachei Shalom to go shepherding. Hours later, the sheep returned to “Gal Farm” without him.
Malachei Shalom is located near the West Bank town of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
Achimeir’s body was spotted on Saturday morning by a drone operated by the Border Defense Corps’ 636th Combat Intelligence Collection unit, close to the farm where he initially went missing.
The murder was believed to have been carried out by Palestinian terrorists, and taken place in the late morning hours or early afternoon of Friday, according to an initial investigation.
Next to the teen’s body, troops found his personal belongings that were handed over to police for investigation….
11 Pakistanis shot and killed as terror attacks surge in Balochistan region
April 13 (UPI) -- Armed militants have shot and killed at least 11 people in two separate incidents in Pakistan's Balochistan region, authorities said Saturday.
The first incident took place near the city of Noshki when about 12 armed men highjacked a bus traveling from Quetta to Taftan. After identifying the passengers, the assailants took nine passengers off the bus and then shot them to death, officials told the Pakistani newspaper Dawn.
The victims were all men from the Pakistani province of Punjab. Their bodies were discovered under a bridge in a desolate, mountainous area.
In a separate attack on the same highway, gunmen fired on a car that drove through their cordon, the Press Trust of India reported. Authorities said the gunmen shot at the vehicle's tires, overturning it. At least two people, also residents of Noshki, were killed in the incident.
The killings come during a surge of terror attacks targeting national security forces in the Balochistan region.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attacks and sought a report on the incidents. "We stand with the bereaved families in this hour of grief," he said. "Terrorists and their facilitators will be punished."
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in a post on X offered his condolences to the victims' families and promised "the state will not spare their killers."
No group has claimed responsibility for Saturday's attacks near Noshki. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for three previous terror attacks over the past few weeks.
The Pakistani government has blamed Afghanistan's Taliban regime for sheltering Paksitani members of the extremist group, which the Afghan rulers deny.
Bugti at a press briefing said the government will revisit security plans following the incidents.

Boko Haram slaughters 27 fishermen in Cameroon

No fewer than 27 fishermen have been reportedly slaughtered and three others abducted by the Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah, Lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād, a Boko Haram terrorists’ group on the border between Cameroon and Nigeria.
DAILY POST gathered that the terrorists suspected to be from the Buduma faction of Abou Ummaymah attacked a local fishing community harboring mostly fishermen from Nigeria at Island Kofiya, near Darak in the Republic of Cameroon.
They tied their hands behind their backs before slaughtering them.
The sources said the terrorists also abducted three other fishermen after accusing them of spying for the ISWAP faction….
ISWAP is a faction that broke away from Boko Haram a few years ago and associates with ISIS, I believe.
Netherlands Airport Apologizes After Security Worker Harassed, Humiliated Former Hamas Hostage

The main international airport in the Netherlands issued an apology on Monday after two Israeli women, including a former Hamas hostage, were allegedly harassed and publicly humiliated by a security worker.
“It is clear that the two passengers did not feel that they were treated appropriately. We regret and apologize for this,” Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport said in a statement. “We will make sure that such situations do not happen again in the future.”
The incident in question took place on Friday when the Israeli women, one of whom was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 and later freed from captivity in Gaza, were attempting to go through airport security for their El Al flight back to Israel. When handing over their Israeli passports for inspection, the airport security officer, reportedly of Pakistani origin and Muslim faith, approached them in an aggressive way.
The officer singled them out for being in the wrong security line, told them to move, and then threatened to fine them, Israeli news website Ynet reported. The worker then proceeded to remove them from the line and began to scream at them, reportedly making derogatory remarks about the fact that they are Israeli….
