Trudeau not backing the position that Gaza jihadis, not Israel,
bombed al-Ahli hospital

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to refuse to accept the US position that Gaza was bombed by “an errant rocket fired by a terrorist group in Gaza,” specifically, by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Trudeau wasn’t willing to accept the proof shown by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Joe Biden; nor was his Foreign Affairs minister, Mélanie Joly.
Trudeau isn’t new to questionable behavior and has repeatedly embarrassed Canada. He is still grappling with his disastrous diplomacy blunder regarding India: without proof, he accused India of a targeted hit on a Khalistani separatist on Canadian soil. Trudeau provided absolutely no proof, and the world took notice. It’s peculiar that Trudeau is now making efforts to appear diligent and wait for proof (likely from the anti-Israel UN), when the IDF has already provided proof enough even for Biden that Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for the Gaza hospital bombing.
Some prior Trudeau deeds that raises questions about his attitude toward Israel: the Trudeau government announced additional “humanitarian aid” to Palestinians amid Israel’s war on Hamas. And four years ago, Trudeau broke ranks with previous governments, including those of his own party, to vote to support an anti-Israel, “pro-Palestine” UN resolution.
Even Ilhan Omar has walked back her comments blaming Israel for the Gaza hospital explosion.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says a review is underway with allied countries to determine the cause of the explosion and fire at a Gaza hospital earlier this week. U.S. President Joe Biden has indicated that so far evidence points to the culprit being a terrorist group in Gaza.
Mr. Trudeau told reporters on Oct. 19 that the “necessary time” would be taken to evaluate what Hamas says has caused the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians.
'The necessary time', was a matter of minutes when Hamas blamed Israel. Trudeau jumped all over it even while knowing the Palestinians lie profusely. But when the evidence appears otherwise, Trrudeau must take 'the necessary time' to evaluate. Israel is an ally of Canada, and Hamas is a terror organization that is the enemy of our ally.
Hamas, which has ruled Gaza since 2007 and is considered a terrorist group by the Canadian government, has claimed that an Israeli air attack was responsible for the hospital explosion. Israel says another Palestinian terrorist group bears the blame…

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly’s initial statement on the hospital incident was still available on X as of the afternoon of Oct. 19.
“Bombing a hospital is an unthinkable act, and there is no doubt that doing so is absolutely illegal”…
Unless it's your own hospital, apparently.
UPDATE: Oct 22, 2023 - Canada now agrees it was not Israel who blew up the hospital in Gaza, but they don't know who it might have been yet. No apology from Trudeau for his instant condemnation of Israel, and no condemnation of Hamas or PIJ is forthcoming. Justin has embarrassed this country more than enough, he needs to step down now.

Canada withdraws 41 diplomats from India

Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Canada withdrew 41 diplomats and their family members from India in the latest fallout from tensions between the two countries over the assassination of a prominent Sikh leader in June.
Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly and Minister of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Marc Miller said that India had threatened to strip the immunities of "all but 21" of Canada's diplomats in New Dehli by Friday.
"This means 41 Canadian diplomats and their 42 dependents were in danger of having immunities stripped," Joly and Miller said in a joint statement. "Given the security implications of India's actions and these Canadian diplomats and their families, Canada has facilitated their safe departure from India."
Joly and Miller (notice Trudeau left this to his ministers, something he rarely does) said that five members of its diplomat team in India will continue working focusing on in-country presence such as urgent processing, visa printing, risk assessment and overseeing key partners, including visa application centers.
"Unfortunately, this mass expulsion will impact our operations, and client service will be affected, " they said. "We will now be forced to pause temporarily all in-person services at Consulates, until further notice. ... As a result, the reduction in the size of the IRCC team will affect service standards for residents of India."
There are roughly 2 million Indo-Canadians in Canada.
They also condemned the decision to revoke the diplomats' immunities as a "completely unreasonable and escalatory" action.
The move is the latest in a series of diplomatic exchanges between the two nations after Canadian law enforcement accused the Indian government of playing a role in the assassination of Canadian Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia in June.
The two sides each expelled diplomats in September and then India issued a warning to nationals in Canada and later suspended visa services for Canadians as a result of the spat.
So far, Trudeau has managed to alienate the USA, India, China, Russia, and Israel. That's about 42% of the population of the world.
