Ozzone 8-17 > Has God ever spoken a hard word to you? I hope so.

 

If you are really listening, you have probably heard Him speak a hard word. Once, when my wife was sick, in bed; we had 3 teens in the house and a 10-year-old with multiple handicaps. After 3 months I was exhausted and angry at God. I shook my fist at Him and asked why. He said very plainly, “You have not yet suffered unto blood!” 

Have you ever been slapped across the face with a cold, wet towel? I knew I was in for a very long haul in my striving against sin. 24 years later, I am still striving but grateful that God is doing such a work in me.
