Israel stabbing: Suspect shouted ‘Allahu akbar’ – and was neutralized

Israel National News, August 12, 2023

New information has been revealed regarding a Thursday stabbing in Petah Tikva.

In the incident, a Jordanian citizen employed in a family auto repair business in Petah Tikva attempted to stab a colleague with a pole,

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect yelled, “Allahu akbar” as he stabbed the Israeli citizen, who is in his 30s.

Initially, the incident was declared to be a work accident. However after forces arrived at the scene it became clear that the incident was a terror attack….

The footage supports the eyewitnesses’ testimony of what happened at the shop: In it, the suspect can be heard shouting, “Allahu akbar.”

I am beginning to think that 'Allahu Akbar' doesn't really mean 'God is greatest', but "I am crazy and I have to kill someone!"

Pennsylvania Islamic conference features Muslim cleric

who praised Hitler for killing Jews

AUG 17, 2023 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari is speaking at the Muslim Ummah of North America conference, along with Omar Suleiman, who enjoys a great deal of mainstream support, as well as Siraj Wahhaj, “who has defended executing gay people and had associations with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing mastermind,” and Nihad Awad of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Mizanur Rahman Azhari has praised Hitler for killing Jews and called for the execution of apostates from Islam. Of course, no one dares do anything about his appearing at this conference, because it would be “Islamophobic” to suspect that some of the speakers may not be entirely “moderate.”

Bangladeshi Fury After U.S. Visa Granted to Dangerous Hate Preacher

bSam Westrop, Focus On Western Islamism, August 16, 2023:

Bangladeshi American and other Bengali activists have condemned a decision by U.S. border authorities to admit extremist preacher, Mizanur Rahman Azhari, into the United States to speak at an Islamist conference in Philadelphia.

Azhari entered the United States despite being previously excluded from the United Kingdom because of his extremism, and is reportedly in exile from his home country of Bangladesh.

Azhari’s extremism is indisputable. In an undated video disseminated among Bangladeshi activists, and translated by FWI, Azhari declares that Hitler was “divine punishment” for the Jews, blames the Jews for various troubles of the world, including AIDS, and states that, “The Jews are the biggest terrorists of the world” and a “poisonous blemish.”

In 2021, British MP Bob Blackman told the UK’s House of Commons that Azhari was working to spread a “message of hatred against Jews and Hindus,” and labelled the Bangladeshi imam as a “hate preacher.”

Consequently, authorities in Doha prevented Azhari from boarding a plane to the United Kingdom.

Now, Bangladeshi activists are calling for Azhari’s visa to be revoked.

Activist and lawyer Mufassil Islam asks how Azhari is allowed to enter the United States “when he is well-documented as a hate preacher” who calls for the killing of ex-Muslims, and the subjugation of Jews and Christians.

Mufassil Islam also notes that Azhari is a “close associate” of Zakir Naik, an Indian Islamist fugitive, wanted by Indian authorities for alleged involvement with terror financing.

Azhari will be speaking at a conference on August 17 organized by the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA). MUNA serves as the American outpost of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, a violent South Asian Islamist movement that carried out acts of mass-murder during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War….

Cameroon Says Military Deployed After New Militant Attack

Kills at Least a Dozen

by Moki Edwin Kindzeka, VOA News, August 3, 2023:

YAOUNDE, CAMEROON — Cameroon said Thursday that at least 12 people have been killed in new attacks by Boko Haram in Darak, a fishing island on Cameroon’s northern border with Chad and Nigeria. Military officials say troops have been deployed to stop more incursions and attacks by the Nigeria-based insurgent group….

Government troops say civilians have escaped to safer locations on the island. The military says ongoing sporadic attacks make it difficult to establish a total number of casualties.

Midjiyawa Bakari, the governor of Cameroon’s Far North region where Darak is located, said this week’s wave of attacks is devastating to the psychological and physical well-being of civilians in Darak, who have not experienced Boko Haram atrocities for more than a year. He said he has asked the military to immediately collaborate with local militias and put an end to the infiltration which killing and looting jihadists have been carrying out in Darak this week.

Bakari said Cameroon has remobilized militias and civilians to assist troops fighting the jihadists by reporting strangers and armed men hiding in border towns and villages to government troops.

The government said heavily armed militants arrived in Darak on Monday on motorboats through the vast Lake Chad. Eight of the 12 corpses already found have been identified as fishers in the lake, the government said. Civilians say at least three villages on the island have been attacked in the previous 48 hours, with attackers shooting indiscriminately, and looting….

Suspected Jihadists Kill 13 In Northeast Nigeria

Agence France Presse, August 13, 2023

Suspected Boko Haram jihadists have killed 13 people including three soldiers in two separate attacks in northeast Nigeria, local militias told AFP Sunday.

Gunmen launched a predawn attack on Saturday on a base in Wulari, a village near the town of Konduga in Borno State, according to two anti-jihadist militias working alongside the military….

Late on Saturday, suspected Boko Haram jihadists also rounded up 10 farmers and shot them dead as they were working in their field in Maiwa, a village five kilometres (just over three miles) outside the Borno state capital of Maiduguri….

Four more farmers are still missing and presumed to have been kidnapped by the jihadists, said Liman, who gave the same toll.

Boko Haram and the rival Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have increasingly targeted loggers, herders, farmers, fishermen and metal scrap collectors in their violent campaign, accusing them of spying and passing information to the military and the local militias fighting them….

What a ridiculous accusation! It's not like the Nigerian military is going to do anything to stop the jihadists. They haven't so far.
