Islam - Current Day > The 'Décivilisation' of France - Macron; The Uncivilized Nigeria - Scores Dead

..

Like all left-leaning news outlets in Europe, France24 refuses to associate Islam with the violence and terror going on on the continent even though it has increased astronomically since 2015. Some of the incidents related below are Islamic in nature, which may be why Macron used that word.

France at risk of 'décivilisation', Macron tells cabinet meeting

French President Emmanuel Macron told ministers at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday that the country is seeing a trend towards "décivilisation", government sources said. Macron's remarks followed the deaths of a nurse and three policemen in the past week as well as a fatal shooting in Marseille.

"We must be uncompromising on the fundamentals," Macron told ministers at a cabinet meeting. "There is no such thing as 'legitimate' violence, whether it be verbal or [physically] targeting people."

Is he referring to the frequent violence that is justified by Muslims from the Quran?

"We must work tirelessly to counteract this process of décivilisation," he said in comments first reported by the daily "Le Parisien" and confirmed to AFP by a person present.

While violent crime remains relatively rare in France, a particularly violent week prompted Macron to cancel a trip to the south of France to take part in a memorial for three policemen killed in a car crash Sunday when a man under the influence drove the wrong way.

During a tribute to the police officers on Thursday in Roubaix, Macron called for respecting those who "risk their lives" for others, denouncing "irresponsible behavior that kills".

"At the sight of your three coffins, one can only be stunned in the face of the injustice and the absurdity," he said. The president was accompanied by First Lady Brigitte Macron and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin.

Three men were killed in a shooting in Marseille over the weekend while a nurse died after a knife attack on Monday by a man suffering from psychiatric problems in the eastern city of Reims.

Muslim murderers are often accused of having psychiatric problems, which is true. As Dr. Wafa Sultan explained: “I came to the absolute conviction that it is impossible…impossible…for any human being to read the biography of Mohammed and believe in it, and then emerge a psychologically and mentally healthy person.”

But the revelation that Macron used the word "décivilisation" immediately drew criticism that he was adopting rhetoric beloved by the far right and those who subscribe to the xenophobic "great replacement" theory.

The Great Replacement Theory - The original theory states that, with the complicity or cooperation of "replacist" elites, the ethnic French and white European populations at large are being demographically and culturally replaced with non-white peoples—especially from Muslim-majority countries—through mass migration, demographic growth and a drop in the birth rate of white Europeans.

According to the Encyclopædia Britannica, the Great Replacement "has been widely ridiculed for its blatant absurdity."  But mostly by the Encyclopædia Britannica and other far-left outfits. They neglect to ask questions like, why did most Muslim countries refuse to take Muslim migrants during the ISIS terror in Syria and Iraq? One country, Qatar, had housing for over 70,000 immigrants to come and build the Olympic City, but took only people from Pakistan, Indonesia, etc., no migrants from Iraq or Syria. Why?

Libya blocked sub-Saharan Africans from migrating across the Mediterranean until western countries took out Moammar Khadafi and left the country in complete chaos. Was that coincidental or on purpose?

French media was awash in headlines deconstructing his usage of the term on Thursday.

Attacks on officials

A series of assaults on elected officials, including a mayor in western France who stepped down after an arson attack on his house, was among the issues addressed in Macron's remarks.

Mayor Yannick Morez of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins resigned after waking to find his house aflame on March 22. Those opposing the opening of an accommodation centre for asylum seekers in the town are believed to have set the fire deliberately.

Mayor Julien Luya of Firminy in the Loire region was attacked by a group of locals dealing drugs in January. When they lit a fire to keep warm, Luya told them it was against the law and was violently beaten with iron bars.

Other officials, including members of parliament, have been threatened or had their offices vandalised amid fierce protests against Macron's deeply unpopular pension reform.

The head of the conservative Les Républicains party, Éric Ciotti, had his office vandalised by anti-reform protesters in March.

Armed Herdsmen Sack Benue State Community,

Kill Scores Of Residents, Four Soldiers, Burn Houses

Sahara Reporters, May 22, 2023:

Armed Fulani herdsmen have attacked yet another Benue State community, killing scores of residents including four Nigerian soldiers and burning down villages.

SaharaReporters reliably gathered on Monday that the attack took place on Sunday at Iyer village in Uvir Council Ward in Guma local government area of the state.

Community sources told SaharaReporters that the terrorists Fulani herdsmen invaded the community at about 5pm on Sunday and opened fire on the residents.

Many people according to sources were burnt alive inside their houses.

One of the sources, who gave his name simply as Barnabas told SaharaReporters that the four soldiers who were killed, came to the community after they received distress calls to repel the attackers but they were outgunned by the herdsmen numbering over 50.

“This is seventh times Fulani herdsmen would be attacking communities in Guma local government area in one month. This very attack happened at about 5pm yesterday (Sunday) Fulani herdsmen with suspected Nigeria soldiers accompanying them launched an attack in Iye village in Uvir council Ward, Guma local government of Benue State. They killed several people including four soldiers. Ten bodies have been discovered and so many houses have been burned.”…

SaharaReporters reported on May 11 that Fulani herdsmen reportedly killed no fewer than 28 people in renewed attacks on Mbawa Council Ward in Guma Local Government area of Benue State, North Central Nigeria.

Sources had told SaharaReporters that tens of people had been gruesomely killed by the jihadist terrorists’ herdsmen in the local government area in recent months.

Meanwhile, SaharaReporters’ efforts to get the reaction of the Benue police command were unsuccessful as the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Sewuese Anene, did not take calls.

If they didn't respond to cries for help, why would they respond to the media?
