Fired Alberta Physician Tells National Citizen’s Inquiry

Ivermectin Saved Patients From COVID-19

On the final day of the National Citizen’s Inquiry, an Alberta physician testified that three of his COVID-19 patients recovered shortly after he gave them ivermectin, a decision which led to his dismissal from his job and being essentially barred from practicing medicine in the province.

“Less than 18 hours after receiving ivermectin, these patients made a remarkable clinical turnaround. Now again, this is based on data that had been published throughout 2020 and 2021,” said Dr. Daniel Nagase.

The National Citizen’s Inquiry, which describes itself as a “citizen-led and citizen-funded initiative that is completely independent from government,” is examining how the pandemic measures put in place by all levels of government impacted Canadians in the four categories of health, fundamental rights and freedoms, social well-being, and economic prosperity.

During the pandemic, Nagase saw three COVID-19 patients who were struggling to breathe to such an extent that they were four to six hours away from needing to go on mechanical ventilators. He said that based on recent scientific data regarding ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, he made the decision to treat COVID-19 them using the drugs.

Nagase said he asked for ivermectin from the Red Deer Hospital’s central pharmacy, but was denied and warned the drug should not be used for COVID-19 patients. He instead acquired the ivermectin from a local pharmacist.

Nagase gave the patients ivermectin, along with over-the-counter vitamin D and zinc. He said all the patients recovered shortly after being given the medication.

Health Canada said ivermectin has been authorized in Canada for human use for the treatment of parasitic worm infections, but there is “no evidence” that it works to prevent or treat COVID-19 and it has not been authorized for that use.

Of course, there was no evidence any of the vaccines worked, but that didn't slow them down.

A day after giving his final patient ivermectin in September 2021, Nagase was removed from his medical duty and was barred from practicing emergency medicine in Alberta.

“Although Alberta Health Service has refused to state that they fired me, effectively they did fire me by refusing to allow me to pick up extra shifts in the emergency department and cancelling all the shifts that I had scheduled,” he said.

Alberta Health Service then filed a complaint with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta, who placed restrictions on Nagase’s practice, “basically making it impossible for me to work as an emergency doctor.”

Improper Ventilation Not Investigated

Nagase testified that he does not like to dwell on what happened to him because some patients suffered “far worse” under the “criminal negligence” of medical doctors during COVID-19.

He said in November 2021, a 47-year-old man with COVID-19 pneumonia was put on a ventilator by a doctor, despite showing stable vital signs and adequate oxygenation. This was “after there was almost two entire years of evidence showing that ventilators caused harm in COVID pneumonia,” he said.

“Therefore, unless somebody had inadequate oxygenation, there is no reason to put someone on a ventilator, which in most cases, according to the scientific evidence, hastened the decline and the deterioration of patients.”

Then another doctor prescribed the man a medication called baricitinib, which has been shown to cause blood clots as a side effect. Nagase said five days after being prescribed the drug, the man died from bilateral blood clots in his lungs, which is “the exact black box warning” associated with baricitinib.

Nagase said neither doctor has been investigated for the death, which he saw as a form of homicide. “Yet, I have been put through the wringer being investigated by Alberta Health Services and the Alberta College, and all three of my patients survive,” he said.

“Where is the justice in that? Individuals calling themselves doctors working in the ivory towers of medicine take actions that result in death, no investigation. But you save three lives, and you get investigated and run out of the medical system,” Nagase said.

“This public health care system—that I’ve known for my entire life—has turned into a death-care system.”

I would rather suggest that it is being controlled (ultimately) by Big Pharma. Big Pharma had to prevent the success of Ivermectin from getting out because that would have made invalid the emergency use of their unverified vaccines.

They got big-time assistance from governments and media, both of which have blood on their hands for promoting bogus science. Big Pharma didn't care in the least how many millions of deaths it took.

Inquiry That Public Broadcaster Censored Stories

on COVID-19 Vaccine Harms

A former journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) testified at the National Citizen’s Inquiry (NCI) in Ottawa on May 18, saying that the news outlet failed in its coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic by barring journalists from writing stories on lockdown harms, COVID-19 vaccine injuries, and protests against vaccine mandates.

“I know that as a public broadcaster, you’d expect us to be telling you the truth, and we stopped doing that,” said former CBC Manitoba reporter Marianne Klowak. “And it was a number of stories that I have put forward that were blocked, but it seemed to me as a journalist who’d been there 34 years, it’s like the rules had changed overnight. And it changed so quickly that it left me just dizzy.”

Klowak, who left the CBC in December 2021, told the NCI she was blocked from writing several pandemic-related stories that she pitched to her editors, such as those highlighting protests against vaccine mandates, concerns with adverse reactions from COVID-19 vaccines, and problems doctors were facing with reporting vaccine injuries using the Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance System.

The National Citizen’s Inquiry (NCI) describes itself as a “citizen-led and citizen-funded initiative that is completely independent of government.” It is examining how the COVID-19 pandemic measures put in place by all levels of government impacted Canadians in the categories of health, fundamental rights and freedoms, social well-being, and economic prosperity.

Klowak said, from her perspective, the CBC betrayed the Canadian public’s trust by shutting down one side of the debate around COVID-19. She accused the network of portraying one side of experts as “competent and trustworthy,” while branding the side who questioned the effectiveness of COVID-19 public health restrictions and vaccines as “dangerous and spreading misinformation.

“I had witnessed in a very short time the collapse of journalism, news gathering, investigative reporting—and the way I saw it is that we were in fact pushing propaganda,” she said.

Exactly! That's the way I saw it and it is the reason I stopped watching CBC news.

“Not only had we shut down one side by silencing and discrediting anyone opposing the narrative, we had elevated and designated ourselves as gatekeepers of the truth. We no longer believed our audience was capable of thinking for themselves,” she added.

Klowak said in the months leading up to her departure from the broadcaster the “complaints and criticism” from CBC viewers and listeners “continued to mount.”

“People [were] stopping me on the street and saying ‘what the heck is going on at the CBC?’ People [were] telling me they felt betrayed, lied to; a gut feeling that they weren’t being told the whole truth,” she said.

When contacted for comment, Chuck Thompson, head of public affairs at CBC, told The Epoch Times in an email that CBC News “covered all aspects of the pandemic thoroughly and fairly.”

“Over the course of the pandemic, CBC News had multiple stories sharing the perspective of those Canadians who opposed COVID vaccine mandates,” he said on May 18. “While we didn’t cover every protest, we covered many. And to be clear, there was no overarching directive banning our journalists from writing about them.”

No. They could write all they wanted, but their stories never saw the light of day!

‘This Is Unethical’

In June 2021, Klowak wrote an article about Canadian parents that were concerned with potential links between the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and heart inflammation in children. She said while everything in her story was factual, her editors asked her to drop the Canadian COVID Care Alliance from the story because they supported ivermectin, even though the article did not mention the drug.

“I could not believe that they were asking me to do this. I said ‘This is unethical. This is immoral. You’re violating all the principles of fairness and balance and accuracy and being impartial and acting with integrity.’ And I said ‘what you’re asking me to do is dishonest and it’s manipulative.'”

While another story by Klowak on a woman injured by the COVID-19 vaccine did get published by the CBC, she said her editors modified the article until its meaning was completely changed.

“It should be just a straight story about someone who suffered an adverse reaction and we shouldn’t downplay it. Instead, the way I saw it, her story was buried in experts and health officials and stats, which sanitized it,” she said.

“We failed to hold power to account and no one was holding the media to account,” she later added. “We failed to serve the public, and we broke their trust.”
