He threatened to blow up an apartment building by turning on the gas; this would have been a mass casualty event. He also said that French law would not stop him from beating his wife, a right he clearly thinks he has because of the Qur’an (4:34). The response of French authorities: “his mental health raises questions.” Of course, it does, because they ignore jihad and thus have no other framework to understand his actions.

The personal matter of 43-year-old Jamal Bigharassn is a special one. The man from Dunkirk was brought before the court on Friday for failure to comply with his administrative obligations in the context of the prevention of terrorism. The measures were taken by the Minister of Interior. Jamal Bigharassn, who is on a dangerous persons register, was released from prison on March 6. He was required to report to the police station and give his address. He preferred to “play dead” and was arrested at the Jeu de mail on March 7.
His mental health raises questions. In the jail cells of the court, while waiting to be brought before his judges, he urinated on the floor and told the police officers that this was his way of “pissing on France.”
In my humble opinion, every devout Muslim has mental health issues.
The man from Dunkirk is well known to the jurisdiction with his nine convictions: Drugs, violence, insult, death threats, domestic violence. At his last direct appearance, he had claimed the right to beat his wife: “If I feel like beating my wife, French law will not stop me.” Another time he had threatened to blow up an apartment building in Malo by turning on the gas and shouting “Allah akbar.”
Either one of those issues should be enough to get him removed from the country. Perhaps France needs to restart the French Foreign Legion.
Bomb Blast At Shia Center Linked To Iran Kills Several In Afghanistan

A bomb explosion in a cultural center affiliated with the Islamic Republic in Afghanistan has left at least four people dead and several others injured.
Abdul Nafi Takor, the spokesman of the Taliban's Ministry of Interior said Saturday that the bomb was planted in the "Tebyan" center supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
German news media say a member of security forces was killed and eight people, including five journalists and three children are among the wounded.
Meanwhile, Radio Azadi, the Afghan Service of Radio Free Europe, quoted local sources as saying that the explosion left four people dead and 16 wounded.
According to reports, provincial journalists were supposed to receive awards in Tebyan Cultural Center on Saturday. A large number of media activists and religious figures were also present in this ceremony.
The bombing in the Shia center on Saturday came two days after ISIS claimed a suicide attack on the office of the Taliban governor in Balkh province that killed the governor of Mazar-i-Sharif Mohammad Dawood Muzammil.
The Tebyan Center is one of the cultural centers supported by the Islamic Republic that one of its branches was attacked by the Islamic State group in Kabul in 2017.
Iran developed religious and other foundations in Afghanistan to build influence during the US presence in the country. Its relations with the Taliban are a mixture of cooperation and tensions.

They may not all have been Christians, but to the Islamic jihadis, their war is a religious war, and so their opponents are “Crusaders” or just “Christians,” whether they actually are or not.
As long as they are killing somebody, they seem to be happy. Christians are just a bonus.
IS group says it killed more than 35 ‘Christians’ in Congo

DAKAR, Senegal — The Islamic State group has issued a statement claiming responsibility for killing more than 35 people and wounding dozens in eastern Congo.
In the statement, posted Friday by Aamaq, the militants’ news agency, it said it killed “Christians” with guns and knives and destroyed their property in Mukondi village in North Kivu province. It also published a photo of the houses on fire.
The announcement comes after local authorities confirmed that at least 45 people were killed last week in several attacks on different villages by rebels from the Allied Democratic Forces, a militia with links to IS.
Conflict has been simmering in eastern Congo for decades as more than 120 armed groups fight for power, influence and resources, and some to protect their communities. The ADF has been largely active in North Kivu province but has recently extended its operations into neighboring Ituri province and to areas near the regional capital, Goma.
Efforts to stem the violence against ADF have yielded little. A nearly year-long joint operation by Uganda and Congo’s armies did not achieve the expected results of defeating or substantially weakening the group, said a report in December by a panel of U.N. experts. The ADF rebels are accused by the U.N. and rights groups of maiming, raping and abducting civilians, including children. Jihadists in northeast Nigeria's Borno state have killed at least 37 fishermen, militia sources and a local told AFP on Thursday, in the latest violence in the region.
Boko Haram insurgents who operate in the area alongside rivals linked the Islamic State group, ISWAP, often target locals to steal or because they accuse them of spying for the military or militiamen fighting them.
On Wednesday evening, a dozen fighters believed to be with Boko Haram opened fire on a group of fishermen outside Guggo village, 18 kilometers (12 miles) from the town of Dikwa, three sources said.
"We have recovered 37 bodies last night along the river bank and nearby bushes," militia leader Babakura Kolo told AFP.
"The figure is not exhaustive and search for more bodies is ongoing in surrounding bushes," Kolo said.
The fishermen were sorting out their catch of the day on the bank of a river when they were ambushed. Some scampered for safety, said a second militia member Umar Ari who gave the same death toll.
"The terrorists pursued the fishermen as they tried to flee, shooting them dead but three managed to escape and alerted Dikwa about the attack," Ari said.
It was not clear how many had gone out fishing that day, said a local resident Abdullahi Kyari who also gave the same toll.
Neither the military nor local authorities have commented on the attack.
Since the insurgency began in 2009, at least 40,000 people have been killed and more than two million people have been displaced from their homes according to the UN.
The violence has also spread to parts of neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon, prompting a regional military coalition to fight the militants.
